Author has written 16 stories for Lord of the Rings, Warcraft, Oblivion, and Fallout.

Greetings, dear reader!

I'm female. I was born in '81. My degrees are in Biology and Chemistry, so naturally I'm working as a barista.

My screen name may be familiar to you if you like Oblivion mods for Robert's Males and Fantasy Figures. I'm on numerous other sites and forums as well. I'm always SickleYield and I always have some kind of arachnid as an avatar. I enjoy computer modeling and texturing and am usually involved in several things at once related to that. I make Poser clothing for Victoria 4 also.

I like to write for computer game universes, because the canons tend to be sketchier and more flexible. My stories will sometimes be of a darker bent, but they will never be about ridiculously omnipotent, overly-described player characters with tragic pasts. I like nonhuman races, particularly those that are not traditionally considered attractive. If you're looking for stories about pretty elves, this is not where you want to be.

To all those reading and reviewing my stories, thanks in advance. Your feedback is one of the main reasons I keep writing and also a significant incentive to improve my skills.

If you've enjoyed my stories, please have a look at my store atSickleYield Designs.

You can also buy my original novel, The Game of Wyrm and Soldier, at Lulu. It's the story of a wandering tinker who discovers a game piece that comes to life and has to defend herself from an order of evil mages. The download version is very inexpensive, especially for an epic-length novel of 80,000 words. It has a very rich world and lore, and if people show interest, I've got the sequel mostly done already. ;)

To those who ask, I will not be writing further Warcraft fics because I have no interest in anything MMO (those here were written while WCIII was current, the lore still made sense, Draenei looked like invisible gophers, etc.). And sorry, but I am not available to beta read others' works at this time.
