Mal/River - To those who know the series and/or movie, they might cringe at this, but guess what? I don't care! I heart this pairing to no end. Both characters are so dark, and they both have such edgy pasts. I know that some may think, 'well, what about Mal and Inara?' She's a companion. I don't she can really commit. And (I know this sounds crazy) but she'd too much . . . light for him. Mal needs someone who's just as screwed up as he is, or worst. River is the only person on the ship that can make Mal think twice before saying something. She's his little albatross!
Mutant X
Brennan/Emma - I saw one episode and was convinced these two should be together. What they have between them is a lot deeper than the lust Brennan shares with Shalimar. Emma was the first person he's cared for in a long time. I mean, c'mon! He saved her from those agents in the very first episode! Not to mention, they have a connection - her being a telempath (cross between an 'empath' and 'telepath') and sending those images to his brain and all. She's closest to him out of all the characters. I personally think there's something almost deeper than love . . .
Jesse/Emma - If she hadn't been killed off (er, if Lauren Lee Smith hadn't decided to leave the show . . .), then these two would have totally happened. The show seemed to be going in that direction when they put Brennan and Shalimar flirting constantly.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Cloud/Tifa - So dark, so true, so compelling. One would not be the same without the other. When everyone's gone, all they have is each other.
Denzel/Marlene - Cuteness to the extreme. Whether it's a brother and sister dynamic or young love, I don't care. They're adorable.

RECOMMENDED READING OF THE MOMENT: "Downfall" by Kaku. It's on hiatus right now, but so far, it's pretty AMA-zing. A Luffy/Nami piece.

SUPER OLD (February 26th, 2008): I removed 'Predestined'. I feel that it's strained from what I really want it to do - this story is supposed to be humor/drama/suspense, but it seems to contain more humor than anything else. It also appears to be a bit lagging for me, so I'm not satisfied with how it's progressed. Don't worry - I didn't do this on a whim. I've been thinking long and hard about this for a while now. I'll put it back up again when I feel that the story's back to it's true roots and intentions.
