Salutations!

Welcome to my profile.

I haven’t put much biographical information up here, so I suppose I’ll do it now.

I'm young enough to do a lot of things without looking stupid, but I'm old enough to be careful. ;)

I stick mainly in the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy fandoms, but I’ve been known to prowl around other areas as well. I play a shameful amount of video games, and before I discovered what actual work was, I watched a lot of TV. Therefore, I like a lot of different fandoms. Other than that, I love reading, writing, painting, sketching, and working with pottery on occasion. Eating is also pretty high on the list of loves. I love sampling dishes from all over the world. Food and I get along wonderfully. We don’t argue, we always make time for each other, and as long as I stroke its ego once in a while, it gets along with my waistline too. It makes me wonder why I can’t cook…

I think I’m a fairly agreeable person. I love people, I don’t like arguing, and I don’t particularly enjoy making people angry intentionally, but I’ve been known to let the stinger come out when I feel the time is necessary. Overall, if you’re fair, and know how to handle yourself maturely, we should get along like bees and honey.

Err…what else? I’ve been told I have a strange sense of humor, which I suppose, on reflection, is rather true. While the familiarity of slapstick comedy and farces never cease to amuse, I prefer exaggerated character perspectives, nonsensical analogies and misadventures when I read. Is there a proper term for that? I’m not sure…

Other than comedy, I like romance, and angst (no, not emo! angst). Generally speaking, I don’t like sci-fi, fantasy, or mystery, but I’ve been surprised before. I’m also prone to contradicting myself, or otherwise finding an exception to most anything I say. Ah, being decisive is so troublesome.

I’m busy almost constantly, and much to my dismay, I’m unable to update as much as I want to. In my ideal world, I’d update once every two weeks, but I lost that game of checkers with life, and it often puts a couple of months between updates. Sorry! I do intend to finish everything I start though.

Ah, my fanfiction. I usually write hurt/comfort (with a touch of humor) fics, but perhaps I'll extend into other genres...maybe. As with all authors, my fics grow with me. My earlier works may not be as polished as the ones I'm currently writing, and the ones I'm currently writing may not be as polished as the ones I will write. (ACoV and OPtR make me cringe at times). I can only hope that my work isn't complete and utter hog swill. I know how hard it is to write a spotless chapter, so I try not to comment on anyone else's grammar as long as it isn't really, really bad. Meh.

8/17/08 The modifications to ACoV have been made. I'm sure it's not perfect, and it's still rubbish, but at least the grammar is better. XD OPtR will be finished shortly. Thanks!
