Author has written 14 stories for Van Helsing, Phantom of the Opera, Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal, Moonlight, Underworld, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and Dark-Hunter series. I will be wrapping up my third full year in May. I began writing my freshman year in high school nearly-good God-six years ago. I began writing as a way of passing the time. I found that when bored in a class I couldn't pay attention, so I began writing. I found that I actually catch more of what my teachers were attempting to teach me, if I was writing, rather than fighting to be awake. I joined FF (FanFiction.net) in '07 and strangely the first thing I wrote back in Freshman year has never been published. I joined FP (FictionPress.net) around '08 but I never really used it until this last year ['10] when I began writing more freely things that were not always FF. I believe I have come a long way in the years I have been on FF and FP. I would say most of it has come from my increased schooling, and my love for reading (both novels and FF). I have learned a lot both from really well done works and some of the crappiest FF. I find the hardest thing for me is continuing a story once I started it. I may find a great idea but about 10 pages in it sputters out, like a flame under glass. This has been my biggest struggle personally for all these years and I don't always manage it. I'm very proud of all that I have written, even the crappy stuff, because it shows how far I've come. As some of you, who have read some of my work will notice, I love music. My favorite thing to do in music is sing (I'm a soprano meaning I sing the high range) but I can read music (for Vocal, Guitar and Piano). My favorite instrument is Violin and Piano, not that I can play either. I like to put music and short people in my stories. Short people even more than music because as a short person I know what it feels like to be that way. I have a tendency to become obsessed with things rather easily. And these the objects of effect can change rather quickly. They tend to be person/characters, songs, tv shows or movies but they can be just about anything; an event, a practice, etc. My Current Obsession: The Young Victoria (12.17.2010). | |||||||
