The running joke:

My name is Shannon the Homicidal Pink Penguin. After a food coloring spill dyed me pink I demolished a few food coloring factorys (I hate Pink) before returning to the Antartic to write a novel.

The real me:

My name is Shannon I am however not pink and I am definetly not a penguin. Three weeks ago when I was joining Yahoo (highly recommended alot of authors here have Yahoo Groups) I realised, to my great anoyence, that every name under the sun seemed to be taken. After 20 or so trys I just typed in the crazyest thing I could think of and the joke evolved from there. Acording to the directory here it wasn't as unusual as I thought. A little disapointing but whatever. I realy am trying to write a novel. I may try writing fanfiction eventually, meanwhile I read alot of it and I think I have good taste so check out my favorites list.
