My father had a heart attack, which he survive thank goodness, in June. I spent much of the summer dealing with that, the wedding, and Chris's mother being ill. She died two weeks ago at age 53. It's been a long summer, and I'm sorry I haven't updated.
I'm going to continue Take Two. I will not continue Fluff 2 simply because it's been too long since I've been able to work on it and it's lost momentum. To those of you who were enjoying it, I apologize. I may reattempt it after I'm done with Take Two. We shall see. Thanks for your patience with me, and I hope you'll keep reading.

Wow, people are actually reading this. Awesomeness! I'll add more then...
Anyhoo, as I've said before, my name is Kate, I'm 22, and a Virginia girl. My mothers side of the family has been traced in Virginia as early as the late1600'sactually, which I think is really really cool. My father is Puerto Rican so I have dark hair and eyes with my mothers pale skin and freckles (she's a red head).I also have roots in Germany, England, Scottland, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland, Morocco, Italy, and France. In short, I'm a mutt. lol.
I'll be graduating from VCU this May in English and Linguistics. I started out in the Theatre department studying education, but after three and a half years I decided I wasn't cut out to be a teacher. Too little appreciation and too much stress. I will also be getting married August 19th, 2006. Civil ceremony. Nothing fancy.
Despite what my stories would indicate, I'm not much of a romanticist. I'm a realist. However, I adore cute, fluffy stories too. Mew Mew is just so lovable. Even my total tomboy friend Emi-chan loved the manga and she hates cute and fluffy. lol. Of course, she also got married before me too u.u. sigh... Did I mention she's younger?
I've lived in Virginia my whole life and greatly look forward to getting to live other place and study the language. Japan is first on my list. I fell in love with Japan when I was five. My grandfather had been stationed in Okinawa so he'd sent back beautiful kimonos, pj's, dolls, etc. I took 2 years of Japanese in high school as an independent study and fell in love with the beauty of the language.
Love to all and thank you for reading my stuff!
