10 January 2009 -- I'm terribly sorry for the lack of updates and new stories. Life is just proving to be too much right now. Our pastor's death, who is also a very close family friend and my godparent, is just one of several things I had to deal with these past few months. I honestly couldn't find the time to sit down and write.

I have a few pages written for next chapter of Complications, 8 pages to be exact. That's on MS Word. But I decided not to post it yet until I've completed at least 15 pages worth of update. That way I'll have a spare chapter to post in case I find myself unable to write again. I've finally caught up with the manga. I just finished reading chapter 427 online. I know I've said that Complications will no longer follow the same time line as that of the manga's, but the original plan I had for Complications is so different that I doubt anyone would still be interested to read it. My story's so outdated. Sasuke's revenge on Itachi and his hatred for being robbed of his chance to carry that out, is one of the major plotlines in my fic. But having read about the recent face-off of Sasuke and Itachi on the manga has completely threw me off! This is what happens when I slack off on the updates. Sigh...

Right now I'm trying my best to finish this story in fewer chapters than originally planned. Maybe just 3 to 4 more chapters to go. No worries though because I'll still stick to the plot that I had in mind when I began this story.

Lastly, I'm really thankful for the continued reviews I keep receiving for Complications. Writing for self-fulfillment is no longer my foremost motivation. You, my readers, are what makes me want to complete this story so bad. Once again I apologize.
