I'm back after an impromptu hiatus of a YEAR AND A HALF (I'm still in shock)

I'm a 20 yr. old female college student (3rd year! almost done!) and have been addicted to fanfiction since I was 12. I have green eyes and brown hair, and to most people I am short. I have finally decided to try and write my own fanfiction, and have therefore created an account on ff.net.

My current obsession is Naruto. My fave couple is Kakasaku (if you couldn't tell). I have now realized that I prefer couples where the guy is considerably older, and I don't know why. Examples are Clouffie (FFVII & KH), RoyWin (FMA), Tohru/any of the trio (FB), Hermione/lots of older guys (HP), Bruce/Barbara (BM), Asuino (Naruto), Kenshin/Misao (RK), and many more.

I also seem to like non-cannon couples. I actually like most of the cannon couples in their shows/movies/books/manga/anime, I just prefer non-cannon fanfiction.

Now, about yaoi; I used to not mind it, I even enjoyed it every once in a while. Now I can't really stand reading them, and I will pretty much never write them. It's just too overdone. If you separate fanfics into yaoi/het/yuri sections, you'll most likely get 60 Yaoi, 35 Het, and 5 Yuri. Out of that 60, I bet half are not even good or the couples/shows make absolutely no sense (or both). A little shounen/ shoujo ai is alright, but that's all I can handle now. Also, I HATE HP and BM slash, and DON'T get me started on MPREG!

What I like:

I love animals, anime, manga, comics (I only have DC, but I do know some of Marvel.),cartoons,books, mythology, and videogames (yep, I'm pretty much a nerd).Maybe later I'll post my fave's.

What I dislike:

I hate animal abusers, poorly written stories, smoking (drinking, drugs, etc.), characters having their personalities twisted -ooc's- (of course I can handle some, I just don't like perky and happy characters becoming broody and dark in an hour), math, and there's more, but I can't think of them right now.

Interesting stuff:

I have a twin sister who doesn't look or act anything like me. She is a musician, and I'm a visual artist.

Stories:

Running in a circle: Sadly for those who actually read this, I have lost all interest in that show. I really wasn't into it to begin with; I just liked watching it every now and then. I am going to discontinue it for now. I might go back and do what I originally planned, but that most likely won't happen. I apologize.

Moments With a Scarecrow and a Blossom: Ah, my current obsession. An ongoing process to improve my writing skills. Not much romance wise (yet), but I hope you enjoy them for their humor. I believe them to be original in that respect.
