07/29/09 : oshi--hi. I'm back-ish, for a while at least, and I have a few FE7/8 fanfics that I have in progress which I hope to finish at some point in time. I know I really hate it when I find a fic that isn't finished, so I feel like I should at least attempt to finish what I've started. Here, I'll tell you what I've got planned for now.

Moptop, Chapter 4: So I finally finished chapter three of this, leaving just one chapter left. I'm really quite proud of this fic and I feel like FFnet has a severe lack of LowenRebecca, which just so happens to be one of my favorite FE couples, so I'm really going to try to finish this. Lowen is adorably awesome, after all. I hope the fic will be finished within a month or so, but I can't promise anything. My laziness knows no bounds.

SalehEwan 20_wars entry: For those of you who aren't aware, 20_wars is a type of LiveJournal writing community for Fire Emblem. It has a specific format and revolves around telling twenty truths of each character/pairing involved. Normally I wouldn't post something like this on FFnet, but the way I'm writing this actually makes it 20 sequiter drabbles, and at number 8 I'm already close to 4000 words in, so I think it counts as an actual fic. I started this years ago when the community was created by my awesome friend metal goat, but I never got around to finishing it. After Moptop's done, I'd like to finish this. Saleh and Ewan also don't get enough love!

UhaiMark oneshot: Oh that's right. Uhai, the chapter 18 Sacaen boss and Mark, the army's tactician. At this point, I can't even remember how I came up with this pairing, but I've had the fic started for quite a while as well. Despite it being a completely crack and baseless pairing, the fic itself is a serious one, as well as somewhat angsty and tragic. I know that Mark is technically an OC since he doesn't have a personality in the games, but in my eyes, trying to portray an already existing character is better than all the Mary Sue tactician fics out there. Also, Uhai's da man.

Home, rewrite: While Home was my first fic posted here ever and I still like the premise of it, I don't like the actual fic itself. I don't like the way it was written or the pacing, and I'd like to try and change it up a little. I also want to steer the focus away from being purely RathWil; naturally, RathWil will still be in it, but instead I plan each chapter to be dedicated to a single pairing. Some straight, some not. So essentially it will be a series of sequiter oneshots, all revolving around different couples and where their home is. Most pairings I already have planned, and in honor of the fic originally being a RathWil fic, the first chapter will most definitely be RathWil.

If anyone's got questions for fics or requests for me to start one before another, or if you just wanna rant FE with me, PM me or something and I'll be more than happy to oblige. After all, regardless of being absent from FFnet for so long, I'm still never doing anything.
