About Me

I'm Grace, but just call me ForeverinMoonlight (though I answer to emerald_horizon, too), unless you know me online. I like many things including languages (especially Japanese), writing, reading, piano, photography, HP, LotR, PS2 games, computers, Doctor Who, Ace Attorney series and Bleach.

'Where can I find ForeverinMoonlight?' I hear you ask. Where, indeed? Well, apart from this profile, you'll usually find me in either the HP, LotR, Bleach, Digimon or the Ratchet and Clank fandoms - though I do lurk in the Doctor Who and Ace Attorney fandoms too.

Likes/Dislikes

Fanfiction-wise, I like to see good (or better than good) writing, characterisation, punctuation, grammar, spelling, etc. I try to adhere to these standards myself if I can. The things I dislike in fanfiction are basically the opposite to the list of things I like (so, bad writing, characterisation, etc.) Oh, and Mary Sues/Gary Stues (shudder). I care not for slash, either, in any fandom - unless the pairing/s is/are canon or well written.

Pairings, pairings...

HP pairings: My friend Tabby says I like/support all the boring ones. -shrugs- I don't think they're boring! Even if they are all canon. R/Hr and H/G are the main ones I like, and I like Lupin/Tonks as well. I also like F/A (Fred/Angelina), G/A (George/Angelina) and I don't mind D/Hr, D/P (Draco/Pansy) or N/L. Pairings I don't like (but I can tolerate) are pairings like H/Hr, R/L, H/L, D/L, etc.

LotR pairings: Canon pairings only, really - Aragorn/Arwen, Eowyn/Faramir, that sort of thing.

Digimon pairings: (Can you guess what I'm about to say?) Canon. So, Matt/Sora, Ken/Yolei, etc. Though I do like TK/Kari, Mimi/Izzy, Mimi/Joe, too. Tai/Sora and Davis/Kari I don't mind and everything else I don't really read, whether I like it or not.

Ratchet and Clank pairings: Nothing that I could mention, to be honest. I don't really read or support any particular pairing here...

Doctor Who pairings: Hmm... Nine/Rose, Ten/Rose, Ten/Martha, Rose/Mickey, Martha/Tom Milligan. That's all that spring to mind right now. :)

Bleach pairings: Like - Ishida/Orihime, Ishida/Nemu, Ulquiorra/Orihime, Gin/Rangiku, Urahara/Yoruichi, Isshin/Masaki (canon xD), Shunsui/Nanao, Karin/Toushirou, Isane/Kenpachi (xD), Shinji/Hiyori, Kensei/Mashiro, Kiyone/Sentarou, Nnoitra/Neliel.

Dislike - Ichigo/Tatsuki, Tatsuki/Renji, Nnoitra/Orihime.

Anything else (except for slash, but you already knew that, right?) I don't mind, don't pay attention to or just think 'meh'. :) Though I don't mind a couple of slash pairings like Gin/Kira, Gin/Aizen and I like a few cracky pairings (well, I think of them as cracky xD) such as Aizen/Sentarou, Szayel/Ishida, Szayel/Renji, Luppi/Toushirou, Halibel/Amagai etc. (most of these are insider jokes).

Of course, I may have forgotten some, but you get the basic idea. I've probably offended someone here by a (or multiple) pairing (s) I support/don't like, but that's just the way it goes. My lists only reflect my opinion, and aren't meant to offend anyone. Each to their own and all that! :)

My Writing

Currently working on: I've just uploaded a Bleach/Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Crossover Fic (For Justice). I have other fics in the works (mainly Bleach ones), so look out for those sometime in the future.

Completed fanfics: Well, you can see them all listed below my profile. Five Harry Potter fics (one is a poem - gasp - such a miraculous achievement for me), two Lord of the Rings fics, one Ratchet and Clank fic and six Bleach fics (one of which is technically a Bleach/AJ:AA crossover). All of them I think are (at least) pretty decent... otherwise I wouldn't have uploaded them, haha.

Future work? I'm still working on a fanfic with Szayel in, which I hope will be completed soon (at the minute it's pretty long, triple the length I thought it was going to be with a bit to go before it's finally finished). I might have to end up uploading it in two chapters as opposed to just the one. We'll see. Other than that there are a few ideas I have that I might work on soon. Apart from that, I don't know what else I'll write and upload. All I can be certain is that next up will be a fic belonging in one of the fandoms that I'm usually found in.

Reviews: It's not obligatory to review my work or anything, but I do love to receive them! I'm trying to improve my writing, so constructive criticism is very much appreciated (and also helps a lot). I don't like flames... they're pointless, and are more pathetically amusing than anything else (when they're even read, that is). Thank you to all who have reviewed my fanfics! Reviews are great to get! I love them. :)

Hmm, speaking of criticism... I've just noticed that I've misspelled 'criticism' a couple of times in my fics! Whoops! My mistake. :S I'll being editing said fics with the spelling error in as soon as I can.

I read a lot of fanfiction on this site, and I've vowed to leave reviews where I can. Sometimes it just takes a while... months, even. :( However, I do get around to it eventually! There are loads of great writers here and tons of fics that I could recommend. :)

Please note: I tend to take a while to finish my writing, so if a multichaptered story does pop up here then unfortunately it will take quite some time to update and finish. If it takes too long (months, or years -shudder-), then feel free to PM/leave a review. Sometimes a bit of nagging does me some good (or at least the encouragement that someone is reading my work!), and if I can't update for whatever reason at least you'll know (though I'll usually say in my profile why it's taking me so long).
