Author has written 1 story for Pirates of the Caribbean.

Once upon a time, there was a girl whose name was Amarvi. She lived in the attic room of a tall, old house in England, and spent her time singing Disney-esque numbers to the birds outside her skylight (in true Disney fashion, the birds completely ignored her and shat on her window) and writing clichéd, quick-fix fics on www.fanfiction.net. Yes, they were rubbish, but she didn't really care, to be honest.

A few days before her sixteenth birthday, Amarvi was visited by the fairy of inspiration, and she began to write a story, named 'Pirates of the Caribbean : Isla de Almas Perdidas', a title she came up with thanks to the magic of Google language tools.

But Amarvi was torn. Did she have the courage to delete all her old crap fics, and step away from her usual Harry Potter fandom for the first time? Did she have the self-belief to share a brand new fic with the fanfiction community? Did she have the power to actually finish a fic, or write an adventure that didn't end with the main character dying (as usually happened due to the somewhat morbid tendencies of the Inspiration Fairy)?

Amarvi decided that she did.
And so it was, that, a couple of days later, Amarvi became Indigo Blue.

…Unfortunately the next day was her sixteenth birthday, and Indigo pricked her finger on a spinning wheel and fell into an enchanted sleep, only to be woken by the kiss of Jack Sparrow. So if you see him, tell him I'm looking for him...

Pirates of the Caribbean: Isla de Almas Perdidas

Before the beginning- why the Black Pearl was raised from the depths of the ocean, why Jack bartered his compass from Tia Dalma, when he got that pirate brand, and how he ended up owing his soul to Davy Jones. This is a tale of adventure, mystery, love, betrayal, humour, desire, and rum. Even desire for rum, once or twice.

That's what this fic is, you know; it's not just unanswered questions and an overactive imagination and an obsession and a longing for adventure, that's what this fic needs. But what this fic is- what the Isla de Almas Perdidas is really about- is freedom.

Indigo reads:

... Mostly Harry Potter fics (I will write some decent ones eventually). I don't have a specific ship... currently floating to shore in a cardboard box

... Some Pirates fics- there's more plot freedom than in Harry Potter, where just about everything's already been done a few thousand times.

... The odd fairytale/Disney-based fic, the occasional Doctor Who, and anything recommended to me.

Reviews, please =)

- Oh, and please add me on livejournal (link at the top)! Currently very lonely and unloved, boohoo etc etc. Once I get the hang of it I'll be posting more fiction up there, stuff that isn't on FF, you know.
