I used to be known as Child of the Seine, until I found that my works grew too stale and the content grew too limiting. I became anti-fanfiction, I admit, and sometimes I am still trying to get over this sentiment. The two things that I do not like about this type of writing are Mary-Sues and the habitual bastardization of characters.

I am not a fan of OOC-ness, unless it explicitly suits the author's purposes, and that these purposes are valid (I understand that validity is relative, but I nevertheless have certain criteria of my own that determine whether a motive for writing is valid and appropriate). I am not a fan of pairings unless they are (or appear to be reasonably) canon. Consequently, you will not find me pairing up people like Ren and Faust, Zorin and Alucard, or Adiane and Simon. I can and will read yaoi/shonen ai/slash when given the chance, but I will not read it just for fluff's sake. It is not something that I gravitate towards, but if done properly, it can be quite enjoyable to read.

Updates will be sporadic. Short stories and one-shots will be my main focus; I doubt that I shall ever have the gusto to construct a fanfiction novel. If something has not been updated for quite some time (over two months) it can be assumed that it most likely will not be started up again. Please keep this in mind as you peruse my work.

As with all authors I appreciate reviews. I like constructive criticism, but as this is not something that I shall put too much of my energy towards, I would be much more appreciative of any constructive comments on my fictionpress account (under the same penname). However, it is still valued; if anyone sees anything remotely like OOCness or a Mary Sue, please let me know!!!
