What I like: Recently I've been a Harry Potter junky pretty much, with a few Stargate:SG1 & Stargate:Atlantis stuff with the random crossover mixed in. I've been gorging on fics where Harry goes back to when he was a child or just before his Hogwarts letter comes. And I've been going for a lot of Independence fics where Harry goes to Gringotts for Sirius' will and finds out Sirius left him everything and emancipated him yada yada, I'm sure you know the drill.

Hobbies: Hmm...READING. M.U.D.ing. Swimming.

Ok, it's happened, since the last time I updated this thing I have been drawn into the attention sucking vortex that is the Twilight series! Prior to seeing the movie I had actually refused to read the books or see the movie even. But I was dragged to go see it not too long after Thanksgiving and, to my shock, I LOVED the movie! (Robert Pattinson Might have had a large portion of the credit for that, but that doesn't really matter!) So, with my resolve diminished in a sparkly haze I read Twilight. And I loved the book even more than the movie! New Moon was ok, but I'm not much of a Jacob fan. Eclipse was good, I read it in about 10 hours, 18 if you include my sleepytime. And Breaking Dawn took about the same actually, maybe give or take an hour. So anything Twilight related on here was added today!

Gay Marriage:

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open doors to all kinds of crazy behaviour. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has a legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriages will be less meaningful if gay marriages are allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the value of one religion are imposed upon the entire country. That's why we only have one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life-spans... --
