Status:

I work on a REO comedy on and off. I hope to fix up the REO Chronicles and, in the distant future, maybe add on to the VK short. But, as anyone who tries to follow my 'work' would know, I mostly fail at following my plans and hopes.

Bio:

I love video games, Japan, anime, a bit of sci-fi, edible wild plants, and some other crap. Oh and wolves are neat. And rain. And the moon. Shiny.

I ain't been writing much for the past...well, probably been a couple years now. One might say I got a life, but nay, I'm still a big geek/nerd/loser, just with more on my plate now with working and schooling and crap. I mainly focus on Pink Squirrel Orgies if I decide to do something here. Hmm, I used to have more fanfics on here, but I deleted them.

For those who wonder: A sylph is an air elemental. You can think of it like a fairy or something. And Starwind is the last name of a character (Gene Starwind) in an anime called Outlaw Star. I hardly remember that show now, nor do I think it was that fantastic in the grand scheme of things, but it was the first thing I thought of for the second part of my name. I think I loved that anime at the time, though. I just hadn't had much experience at that point.

Favorite shows/manga (past and present): Air Gear, Bleach, Code Geass, Death Note, Elfen Lied, Fruits Basket, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Loveless, Ouran High School Host Club, Soul Eater, Vampire Knight, Wolf's Rain, and X-Play (though that last one has severely disappointed me by becoming way more boring and like some fuggin' news channel...guess they wanted to be more professional or something)

Currently I'm big on Code Geass, Soul Eater, and Vampire Knight. Yuuki, Zero, and Kaname are so like Tooru, Kyou, and Yuki in Furuba lol but I'd prefer Zero with Yuuki in VK, whereas in Furuba I'd prefer Yuki over Kyou. Whoo anyway! I'm also trying out an anime called Spice and Wolf, and a couple shoujo manga that look pretty mindless and fruity but, hey, we got our guilty pleasures. Though when it gets extremely obvious about trying to fulfill the sad fangirly's fantasies, it becomes way less pleasurable. I don't like to see the poison floating in my soup, I just wanna eat it.

Favorite video games: Okami, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 (2 not quite as much), Silent Hill 2, Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, Resident Evil: Remake, Resident Evil Outbreak 1 & 2, and Resident Evil 4

I have an XBox 360. I think all three current-gen systems are great, just in different ways. Although Xbox 360 pisses me off because both controllers that I have (one that came with the system and one that I bought) started screwing up weeks after purchase, and the 360 itself broke after nine months, and I had to send it in. But it's great when it actually works.

Favorite author: Stephen King...and Tamora Pierce, sorta. I liked Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, too, though that was a bit kiddy.

Favorite music: I dunno, I guess it's mostly alternative rock like Coldplay, Minus the Bear and lostprophets, and anime music. But I don't really put it all to a certain source because even among my favorite groups, there are songs from them that I seriously do not like and even some that I think kinda suck :P
