I haven’t written anything on fanfiction.net in close to a year. Part of that has been personal: going to college and being away from home to start finding new friends and new hobbies was hard enough. But my decision was personal. In times such as what I’ve described, I’ve turned to writing for therapy. It was something done for my own happiness and thoughts and feelings. Before I even started writing on this site, I wrote and no one saw anything because it was for me alone to wonder at what I put down. Unfortunately the last thing I wrote didn’t make me happy and in realizing this I felt that I was doing this for praise, something I never used to worry about when I first wrote. And so I stopped.
But now I want to start again. I’m not sure when I'll write, what it will be, or when I may update anything, but the feeling is there. I’ve changed my name from chinkyeye to the-lionness (a name some good college friends gave me) to recognize the change I went through in the last year. After all, the last year has been a part of my life and I should pay homage to it. While I wish I could find a place to write original things, I’m content right now. I still love hearing from you and hope that with this change I’ll get that honest feedback I appreciate. I'm not sure if writing for creativity will be something I will pursue for an occupation but I'm not gonna worry about it. And from reading other fanfics, I do want to get in contact and exchange advice and pearls of wisdom in what i want to pursue. So thank you for reading this and I can't wait to get started.

Hermione Erotica (7.8.06) Harry Potter (RWxHG; HPxHG; NLxHG) A string of one-shots as some of Hogwarts finest gentlemen pursue naughty thoughts towards a certain know-it-all. (subsequent stories i.e. 'Strip Poker' are these chapters separated into one-shots by themselves)
05.17.08 Well, I said I wouldn't put a fanfiction here until I wrote something I wanted. And now I have! I was bored and decided to read some of the old stories I've written, particularly "Queen of Hearts." I read through the entire story in one sitting and then the reviews I had been given. They weren't bad at all but as I read, I kept pulling my hair at how incomplete it seemed to me. I'm proud at my progression as a writer--trust me, a 14-week class on fiction writing can do that to anybody--and really want to see what I can do with it now. So if you want, there is my submission and if you want to read it, feel free. But if you don't, that's fine too.
