Author has written 12 stories for Smallville, Supernatural, and TV X-overs.

Update August 19 2008:

Yes I'm still alive :) I have had a busy busy summer, won't bore you with the details, but I will hopefully soon be back reading and reviewing and yes, even writing! I seemed to need to take a few month hiatus from reading and writing, because I'm way behind here and on supernatural.tv, but will remedy that soon. My apologies for taking so long to update. Thanks for hanging in there, and have a good day :)

Hi there! Not new to writing here now, but I have lurked and read many, many stories over the years. I apologize to all the wonderful authors to whom I never wrote feedback. I have enjoyed all your stories. Thank you so much for writing! Everyone, have a great day :)

Well, I can share with you part of what took me awhile-a work blog so that I could get an mp3 player. If you'd like to see pics of the library where I work along with a bunch of other internet learning stuff you can go to my work blog here:

http://alisaslibraryblog.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2008-04-16T153A573A00-073A00&max-results=10

It starts on the bottom and goes up, and then on the bottom above the pic click on newer posts and it'll take you to the next page. Or you can start at the ending and go backwards, lol (it probably won't make much sense unless you follow along with the stuff we had to do but oh well):

http://alisaslibraryblog.blogspot.com/

The library system had everyone who wanted to do a blog and if you completed it you got an mp3 player. They were promoting computer literacy I think. (I love my job!) And yes, I got the mp3 player :)

Also, and I'm a tad bit nervous about this, I wrote a story for a contest. It didn't win, but if you want to read a very short non-series story you can go here:

http://alisawsblog.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Everyone I showed it to liked it, and if you want to leave a comment if you read it feel free. Anywho, I am now getting back into the swing of things, so expect an update and reviews shortly :)

Update-Kitchen is done! Finally.

I had made a banner for the other site-here's a peek:

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t297/lenswoman/Newmoldbanner.jpg

And now the saga of my kitchen:

My kitchen went from this:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2096/2435070872_a6a30760f5.jpg (moldy cabinet)

To this:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2094/2434337335_c44bbd9f55.jpg (Ain't she purty?)

From this:

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t297/lenswoman/picofmold.jpg (mold-eww!)

To this:

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t297/lenswoman/Kitchenwithoutcabinet001.jpg (well at least it's mold free)

To this:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3249/2434335633_756cf6627a.jpg (all patched up)

From this:

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t297/lenswoman/Kitchenwithoutcabinet006.jpg (ah my lovely concrete kitchen floor-which I had for months)

To this:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2332/2434336005_9b6db834b0.jpg (new floors for both kitchen and dining room)

And finally from this:

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2077/2434334843_8d6ef77c69.jpg (the middle of getting worked on)

To this:

Whew! The moral of this pictorial story is, Ice cube filters for the refrigerator freezer are EVIL and should be salted and burned before they can break and leak and cause mold. Now I just make ice cubes the old fashioned way, with trays :) I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming. Beep!

Now about me. Currently back working in a haunted library (there are stories of a third floor ghost but I haven't seen it-just piles of books for the book sale). Female but I don't date (the last one I was on I went to a planetarium and fell asleep-needless to say the date didn't go well). I have a cat and cohabitate with a Westie puppy as well-amazingly the cat and dog get along. Most of my off time is spent on the internet-yes I'm pathetic :) I do have a hobby-I collect crystals and go to gem and mineral shows-and my other passion is now beading bracelets. I enjoy many fandoms, was addicted to stories about Star Trek: Voyager, as well as many, many others from The A-Team to The X-Files, but Smallville and now Supernatural are the ones that finally freed my creative juices enough to want to write and give feedback. I love many different kinds of stories, from angst to happyfic, from g-rated to nc-17. I'll read anything written even partially well and hope to start writing professionally some time in the future. I figure I'll start here and see if I really have any talent. I did win a writing contest when I was in high school! And my writing ability got me a B in advanced Biology in college when I barely understood the coursework--I just wrote what I knew the teachers would like :) Don't do that, by the way, actually learing material is good. Well, bye for now, I have a few stories up now, and you can let me know what you think!

If you're interested, I made a silly YouTube video of my teddy bear singing. Feel free to not watch it :)

My new webpage, and what I'm doing when I'm avoiding writing-hmm, need to update it:

http://www.geocities.com/windyfontaine/

I discovered a new pastime: banner making :) So when I'm stuck on a story, expect to see a new banner, lol. Hmm, I have to update that page...

Currently favorite series: Supernatural. I am just still addicted to it. Hot guys, cool car, great storytelling, angst, humor-I love this show :) (Huggles show)

Second favorite new series: Moonlight! On CBS. Yummy. (Please renew it. Please renew it. Please please please...) Aw darn. So long, Mick, it was nice knowing you for the glorious season we had.

I also watch: Smallville (but gotta admit, only the earlier seasons now-I stopped watching when they killed Jonathan off), Stargate SG-1(aww, I'm going to miss it), Stargate Atlantis, Ghost Hunters(oh heck, just a lot of stuff on The Scifi Channel-liked The Dresden Files too), Bones-in a tie for second favorite, Monk and a cool show called Psych on USA-third favorite series, The Weather Channel (even when there aren't hurricanes; I love movies about the weather too-"Twister" is my favorite) and a lot of things on cable channels TLC, Discovery, and HGTV. I will also tune in to old eps of Diagnosis Murder and Nero Wolfe, and haunted specials on the Travel Channel. And anything to do with volcanoes or violent weather :)

Non-fanfic reading material: I LOVED "Meg" by Steve Alten and its sequels, he is a terrific author. His new book, "The Loch", absolutely excellent. The first person narrative takes awhile to get used to, but filled with action. I am also a sucker for Rex Stout novels, and can reread the adventures of Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin over and over again. I also love books by Lincoln Child, and was heavily into military scifi books like the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. If you'd like a really good nonfiction book on ghosts I highly recommend "The Case for Ghosts" by J. Allan Danelek. He goes in depth about the subject of ghost hunting, from a more scientific point of view. I also love a series called "Ghosts of the Garden State" by Lynda Lee Macken.

Why I have not updated: Um, I am now once again an avid Sweeper-I enter sweepstakes daily. It's an obsession, I tell you. I enter for cash, for computers, for calcium coupons-you name it, I've probably at least looked at it if not entered for it. Sigh. No wins yet though. If you want a peek, this is one of the better sites: http://www.online-sweepstakes.com/ I'm a member and the people there on the forums are pretty nice. Also, I'm big time into beading bracelets and making jewelry. I've made bracelets and anklets for friends and also for money, and will eventually get a webpage up of stuff, so if you want to order a bracelet you'll be able to. I'll post a link on here when I do. Anywho, that's part of the reason I haven't updated. Of course there is pesky work and hanging out with family and going to gem and crystal shows. Er, it was a busy summer?

Interesting sites to visit: http://www.hauntednewjersey.com/index.html

The Ghost Hunters TAPS site: http://the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/

A great resource to find out information on practically anything-I use it a lot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

A page where you can do good with just a click: http://www.therainforestsite.com/

Another page for do-gooders: http://www.care2.com/click2donate/

And my home away from home for Supernatural: http://supernatural.tv

The forums there: http://s14.invisionfree.com/Supernatural/index.php?act=idx

When you visit the forums for the first time you have to sign up, but it's free, and the people are friendly and the site is easy to navigate. I spend way too much time reading the threads there, especially the Fan Fiction section in the Supernatural-General area. Actually I kind of live there, lol. (I'm Windyfontaine there too) There are also pictures, and spoilers, and art, and links, and pictures...

Also, for more crossover fan fiction as well as non crossover, you can head over to Supernaturalville, here: http://s15.invisionfree.com/Supernaturalville/index.php?

It is an archive for completed fics, for both Supernatural and Smallville. In the Smallville fics crossover section are two SG-1/Smallville crossovers that are excellent, starting with Singularity. There are also virtual seasons for both shows :)

There is also another Supernaturalville, for Supernatural fics in progress here: http://www.supernaturalville.net/

Oh, and a great big THANK YOU to everyone who reviews on my stories. You're the best!

Current ongoing stories here: Unusual Meetings-ugh, I've become one of those authors. One of those that doesn't update in forever... Well, it's been a year, but I haven't officially stopped writing it. I'm waiting for my scifi muse to get back from Mars. I still watch scifi-so sorry about not updating though. I will try.

In progress is Ghosts 101, which was started first on the supernatural.tv site in the fanfiction forum under horror/ghost-I tend to update there first, in case you want a sneak peek before it gets here. Also started a new two chapter short fic-and yeah, still working on that too :) And also another new one-the hazards of being a Gemini-I'm beginning to flit from story to story-but I promise, I will complete them! No timeline on when though...

Variety is the spice of life. Enjoy :)
