“Hey, I see it. It's up ahead...up there!!”

Coming into a huge room Dark, Roselyna, and Duke all slid to a stop and Duke looked up a huge flight of stairs in front of them and at the top was a crystal mantle and resting on top of it was a BEAUTIFUL ice blue diamond. “That's it...”

“So how do we get it?”

Quickly looking over Duke glared to Dark who crossed his arms. “The stairs you idiot!!”

“There could be traps YOU idiot!” Dark quickly snapped back.

Not fighting, Duke rolled his eyes and made his way to the stairs. “Then stay down here!” Quickly he booked it up the stairs and Dark right away sighed shaking his head and Roselyna fought to hold back a laugh.

Coming to the top, Duke slowed to a stop and he looked over the mantle and diamond in amazement. “Daisy..” Looking over it one last time, he slowly reached up and he tightly grabbed the diamond and he began to pull on it...but it didn't budge. Looking over it, Duke grabbed a hold of it with his other hand and he began to pull harder. Still, no movement. Gripping the diamond tightly, Duke placed both his feet on the mantle and he pulled with all his strength and suddenly the diamond slipped out of placed and Duke hit the ground hard and with the force of the force of the pull, the diamond was sent flying down the stairs behind him and the three all gasped seeing the diamond fall.

Running forward Dark reached out to catch the diamond but suddenly another hand appeared and snatched the diamond right out of the air and a small snicker was heard. Looking Dark blinked then on the top steps Duke gasped rolling onto his stomach. “Derrek!”

Throwing the diamond up and down, Derrek smirked looking up to Duke. Eyes flickering softly. “You dropped something baby brother...”

“Drop it!!”

Blinking Derrek shrugged. “Well if you say so...” With that he let the diamond fall past his hand and Duke cried out as he frantically climbed to his feet and began to stumble/trip down the stairs. He was then stopped as Derrek caught the diamond, inches from the floor, as he now sat nealed down. “You said drop it baby brother...you should really watch what you say next time.” Now on his feet, Duke formed his hands into a fist and he dropped his hand to his side. “Just hand it over!!”

Smirking, Derrek turned away. “Sorry...I can't do that.” With those words he chucked the diamond aside and from the shadows a hand reached out and as the diamond was caught Dukes eyes instantly flashed red, already knowing who was hiding in the shadows. Stepping out, Shadow smirked. “Be more careful brother...”

“Drop it!!”

Shaking his head Shadow sighed. “Did you not just learn from your mistakes?”

“Fine, then put it down!”

Shrugging Shadow put it down and he put his hands into his pockets and he looked up to Duke who was now making his way down the stairs. “...What now dear?” Growling, Duke stopped a few steps away. “Just hand it over to me!!” Shadow shrugged and he leaned down to grab for the diamond but he quickly kicked his foot forward and he hits the diamond and it skidded fast across the floor and it hit the wall and shattered into a million pieces. Eyes going wide Duke quickly leaped from the step and he swung his fist suddenly appearing in front of Shadow...but he was stopped, his hand caught inches in front of Shadows face.

“You shouldn't be so violent ya know?”

“I'm going to fucking kill you!!”

“No need...” smirking Shadow raised his hand and the diamond appeared in it. “Learn not to jump to conclusion so fast...” Seeing it Duke blinked then he growled. “You sick fuck...” Sighing Shadow turned some and nodded towards Derrek. “That is where your wrong. The sick one would be Derrek...” He then turned back to Duke. “But, enough about him!” He suddenly pushed Duke back, tightening his grip on his fist and he twisted his wrist causing him to cry out. “Violence doesn't solve everything, it cannot only hurt the victim but yourself also.” Saying this he quickly turned Duke never letting go of his hand and he pulled him close, and Duke's hand was now twisted behind his back and his body was against Shadows as Shadow leaned in close, placing his mouth inches from Dukes ear. Hissing in pain, Duke glared up. “I swear...you'll be dead by the end of this...” Smirking, Shadow purred softly. “Is that a promise?”

“It is with us around!!” Looking up, both Roselyna and Dark had there weapons drawn and aimed at both him and Derrek. Shadow quietly looked over the two, then he smirked. “Go ahead, Kill Derrek...But how will you take care of me?” Raising the diamond, he turned it slowly. “I have...two lives in my hands.” Nodding to the diamond. “This and...” Quietly he looked over Duke, and he dug his nails into his wrist causing him to wince in pain. “..his.” Looking back up his eyes flickered red as he looked over Dark and Roselyna. “Are you willing to kill both?”

Quietly Roselyna nodded towards Derrek. “Duke dies...your brother follows!” Sighing, Shadow rest his chin on Duke's shoulder and he looked over them boredly. “Like I just said. Kill him. He's a big boy, he can find his own way to Hell. But will you really risk your friends life? Two of them?” Looking to Derrek then to Shadow, Roselyna looked to Dark with a questioning look. Dark only stared over Shadow, his gun locked on him. The look of determination in his eyes but also the look of a worried man, the worried look of a father...

Not paying attention, Roselyna was suddenly caught off guard and as Dark looked Derrek had her in a head lock, her own gun aimed at her head. An evil psychotic smirk on his face. “Lower the gun suit...and the girl and baby brother won't die.” Looking over them all, Dark sighed and he dropped his guard and he lowered and placed his gun on the ground. “Alright, it's down, now...” Before he could finish, Derrek quickly aimed the gun forward and he pulled the trigger and the bullet quickly sped forward and it hit Duke and both he and Shadow crashed to the ground and before Dark could react, Derrek was in front of him and he hit him hard in the head with the gun, knocking him out cold. Dark dropped unconscious right beside a motionless Roselyna.

Dropping the gun to the ground, Derrek chuckled softly then he turned to Duke and Shadow and slowly Shadow started to sit up, coughing as he held his hand to his stomach. Worried Derrek quickly ran over but Shadow shoved him away as he stood tall. “Get the bastard to D...That should teach him not to mess with his elders.” Nealing down Shadow picked up the diamond and he walked away catching his breath and Derrek looked over Duke's motionless body and he quietly watched the blood pour from the bullet hole in his stomach, then he quickly picked him up.

After what seemed like forever, Duke slowly began to stir. He was now laying on the floor of a HUGE beautiful room. The carpet under him was soft fur and it was midnight black which matched the walls, curtains, pillows and ceiling perfectly. The black then mixed perfect with the blood red of the dining table cloth, wine, other pillows and sheets and blankets on the huge king sized bed.

Blinking the blurriness and dizziness from his eyes, Duke slowly shook his head but he stopped as it suddenly started to throb. Getting his surroundings, Duke slowly began to sit up but he cried out as his stomach began to throb with pain. Looking to it, he gasped seeing his shirt stained with blood and a massive bullet wound. Shaking his head Duke quickly looked around. “Dark...Roselyna? Guys? Guys!?” Not getting an answer, Duke sighed and using what he could, he carefully began to stand up. His efforts where lost as he felt more blood drain from his body but he kept himself up on his feet. Looking around the room for anything for help, Duke stumbled to the dining table and he grabbed one of the glasses of wine and he quickly drank it down, following it fast with the other glass. Placing the empty cups down Duke looked over the bottle of red wine and without a seconds thought he grabbed a hold of it and popping it open he quickly began to drink it down. Only stopping for a gasp of air. “I knew Darks bad drinking habits would wear off on me...” Placing the bottle down, Duke took a few breaths, the pain slowly starting to fade as the alcohol began to sink into his system. Relaxing a little and not in much pain, Duke began to check his surroundings again. Nothing gave anything but the room being a room.

Sighing, Duke made his way to the bed checking out the room then he sat down and he leaned back taking a few breaths, sighing in relief as the pain faded from the alcohol. “...Now I can concentrate.” Sitting in silence Duke closed his eyes and he thought deeply. Not realizing the sheets behind him where starting to lift up as a body formed under them. Slowly the figure under the sheets stirred softly and just as it finally clicked with Duke, before he could turn and look, the figure was up and had his hand over Duke's eyes and he placed his body close. “Long time no see...bounty hunter...”

Hearing the voice chills instantly hit Duke and he quickly shook his head. “You...your suppose to be locked up. The cops took you...I saw them!!” Laughing the man cuddled close to Duke and he pulled his hand from his eyes and lowered it to his neck. “Amazing how you remember me so well, I was hoping I'd have you guessing for awhile.” Duke quickly threw himself forward, almost falling off the bed, but he was stopped as his hips where grabbed tightly.

Wincing in pain, Duke gripped the gunshot wound tightly as he looked back at the figure. “How can I easily forget the man who raped me?” Smirking, D softly began to laugh and he leaned close keeping a grip on Duke's hip and he placed his crotch against Duke's back side and he rubbed against him softly. “You've recovered well, usually my victims go into deep shop after there first time...you enjoyed it didn't you?” Trying to pull away from the assault on him Duke growled. “I wouldn't let a fuck like you win...there's people looking for me. So you can't do shit to me now!”

“Is that so?” Pinning Duke down on his stomach, D laid over him softly and he slowly ran his hand up his back and up to his neck, which he gripped softly. “I'm a sucker for gagging. Which would you prefer. Handkerchief or ball?”

“Neither you sick fuck!” Quickly Duke grabbed D's hand and he bit down on it hard and as D pulled back, he rolled off the bed and he crashed hard to the floor and ignoring the pain and now lack of air he crawled to the farthest part of the room and he backed into the wall. Behind him was a trail of his own blood.

Looking away from his now bleeding hand D smirked then laughed softly. “How adorable...tell me, am I the only one you show your weak side too. Or do you do that with everyone after dealing with me?” Gripping his stomach Duke growled and glared death at D, who could only seem to smirk with lust in his eyes.
