My name is Merriska and I enjoy writing fanfiction, original fiction and roleplaying from time to time. Here are some facts about me: I love anime. I like villains. I just personally find them more interesting (and better looking) than the heroes. Even when I was a little kid, I could never hate them. I didn't like them persay, but they still interested me. I like yaoi and shounen-ai, but I also like yuri and shojo-ai. It's not because I think it's hot, I just strongly support people being able to love the same gender. I think the amount of yaoi is a good thing because it means people are more accepting of homosexuality. I pretend not to be interested in anime in the real world. It's not that I'm ashamed of it, I just don't want to be known as a freak or as a nerd. Otakus have very bad reputations. Only two people knows I like it. One pretends not to like it too. The other likes it to a lesser degree, but I still deny it around her. I am neutral on character bashing. Some reasons are fucking stupid, but there are some times when you really like talking with other people on how you hate a character and it's fun. It's dumb, but you enjoy it. I do not say "eh", I do not say "aboot". I hate being referred to as Canadian. I don't refer to people from the States as American. I don't have Microsoft Word, I only have Wordpad.
