As far as stories go, I tend to focus predominantly on one-shots than making full chaptered stories, mainly because it takes me forever to write my one-shots and I know that I'd never be able to update as much as I'd like. My parents constantly harp on me for spending too much time on the computer as it is, and with the summer coming to a halt I know that schoolwork would be a big obstical for me. So, I'm sorry to anyone that has a story alert on any of my fics, but I don't think there'll be any additional chapters coming along anytime soon.

However, I have been thinking about some companion-fics for Father to Son that may or may not make it on to FF.net depending on whether my muse ever comes back or not. Of course, everyone knows that reviews are the magic cure for writer's block (or stubborness, for that matter) so if you are really serious about any companion-fics then I strongly encourage more reviews :)

I have an idea for a companion-fic that I'm thinking about calling Photograph, which actually I'm in the process of writing. Its plot basically has Sakura walking around the Uchiha manor looking at all of her and Sasuke's pictures and reflecting on them. The main similarity is that they have the same number of kids as they do in Father to Son and have the same names as well. There are also a few notable differences personality wise, but they will be revealed when I finally publish it. I can tell you one thing, though - it ain't gonna be no shortie like Father to Son was. I'm not even near halfway done and it's three pages. And one more thing - it won't be a songfic. However, I will have a few exerpts from 'Photograph' by Nickleback in there. Again - not. a. songfic.

If you have any ideas for a photopraph that would appear in my fic, just review one of the stories and include the basic structure of the photograph and I'll try and squeeze it in.

Obviously, Photograph has not been posted yet and instead I decided to go and write a Gaara/Hinata for the heck of it. Better is One Day can easily be taken as a one-shot, and eventually I plan on adding two more chapters to it - one for Gaara's POV up until his death, and one for Naruto. I'm taking my time with Photograph and I'm not obsessing myself with it too much - meaning that I'll only work on it when I feel like it and write chunks at a time rather than writing it all in one go, just for the sake of getting it done, which is what I did with Better is One Day. It's probably why I only got two reviews for the first chapter. There are several factors that could have crippled its success, including how everything happened too fast, it was too long, or it just wasn't as entertaining as Father to Son was. However, I'd like to thank my two reviewers. It's better than getting nothing, and I'm thankful that they took the time to give me some feedback.

As far as my hiatus goes, I'm sorry to say that I have not worked on Photograph or Better is One Day at all...the computer has been going through some glitches and I have to admit that I've lost the work I've done so far, which means that I'll either need to start from scratch, which I really don't want to do, or I'll scrap both projects entirely. The the chances of the latter occuring are extremely high, and I apologize to those who've enjoyed my work so far.

I've moved on to mainly original fiction, which is what I'd like to stick with since it makes sense for me to hone my skills as an author writing stories as practice for a breathing audience as opposed to being an author writing for an online community. I enjoy it here, but to be honest, it just seems more practical to write about my own characters rather than ones owned by someone else who is actually making a living with them. I'm sure most of you can see where I'm coming from on this subject. So, today I say goodbye to Fanfiction.net and all of you aspiring authors.

I've created an account under the same penname on FictionPress but I've only posted two poems that have gotten very little if not any attention, which I have no problem with since they were projects for school (the first one being written in 6th grade and the second being written this past year when I was a freshman) and the effort put into them was extremely forced. The only reason I posted them was just out of curiousity to see who would respond. I won't post any original work until the manuscript is completely finished. I've gotten large chunks of some stories done, but as I have mentioned before, if it becomes an obligation to write something that it is likely that I will procrastinate enough that I won't work on it at all, which is ultimately a disappointment to myself and others.

Thank you to everyone who has reviewed any of the work that I've published. You put a smile on my face everytime I get one :)
