Author has written 23 stories for Stargate: SG-1, and Stargate: Atlantis. I've been a Stargate fan since the movie. Although I loved the characters played by Kurt Russell and James Spader, the TV cast have become the definitive characters for me. I'm a Sam & Jack Shipper, and it's reflected in all my stories. Some are holiday related, and were written for special S & J ship events on Gateworld. I'm also a big fan of Amanda Tapping and Samantha Carter. Both women--the actress and the fictional character--are excellent role models. I got to meet Amanda in July 2006 at Shore Leave in Baltimore, and she was just as friendly and down to earth as anyone else you might meet! When I'm able to be online, I'm usually at Gateworld (www.gateworld.net), in the Sam/Jack Ship Appreciation/Discussion Thread or the Sam Carter Appreciation/Discussion Thread. I invite any S & J shippers and/or Sam fans to join us there. Some of the nicest people you'll ever meet post on these two threads. Editorial Comment: It remains important for Sam & Jack Shippers to stick together! With this phase of the franchise drawing to a close, it's key that we speak with one voice in order to get confirmation for this special couple. Professionally, I'm a journalist turned government media specialist, so I write for a living (not fiction, though). However, these wonderful characters (and the scenarios TPTB have failed to explore) inspire me to write in my free time. There just isn't enough free time to suit me! My husband (who is also a Stargate fan) supports my obsession with amusement, if some confusion. I welcome all reviews and any ideas for more stories you might want to share with me.
