Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter. Hello there! My name's Steph aka bleedingxheart, I'm 18 years old and I live in Australia, one of the best countries in the world. I love reading dearly, in fact I even work in a bookshop. I also love writing. On here, I only write in the Harry Potter fandom, specifically Harry/Draco slash, although I do enjoy reading various other pairings and fandoms, occasionally. Why do I write? There are two main reasons. One, the minor one, to satisfy the restless writing demon within me that every now and then gets angry and demands I do something creative and write a chapter or two. But the other one, the major one...if my stories, my words, cause anyone out there to laugh, cry, giggle, grimace, wince, smile, get angry, get frustrated, get involved and get drawn into the story, then I've done my job. The good writers have that amazing ability to make you forget everything else. I don't kid myself that I have that ability, but I only want to try. I go to uni in Sydney, studying full time, so most of the time I have absolutely no freedom to write fanfiction. I'm on holidays until mid-July at the moment, thus the rush of inspiration for my Animus story which has had me updating like a madman. I wish I could apply the same frenetic pace to the writing of my Veela story, but...eurgh. I'm running on empty for that one. No direction, no plans, no inspiration.
