Commonly Misused Fanfiction Terms: Yay! Edjumacational!

Shonen ai/Shojo ai - refers to homosexual relationships with WAFF/Fluff, not porn.

Yaoi/Yuri - contains homosexual relationships with porn!

Slash - any homosexual relationship, female or male!

Het - A vestigial term that wastes characters in a story's summery. Why? Because the above terms were created to indicate not having heterosexual relationships, therefore it is widely assumed stories without those terms are heterosexual by default!

Lemon - PWP graphic sex smut! Can I get any more redundant?

Lime - a story with a plot that has light sexual content embedded within it.

Transformers/BeastWars

I tend to chose a favorite character to obsess over when ever I like a show, but when I watched G1 there were far to many to choose from. So, being the weirdo that I am, I decided to just randomly pick one. Starscream was in BW, the show that introduced me to TF, so I thought sure, whatever, he'll work. Little did I know how cliché it was... But believe me, I found out!

G1 Skyfire(Jetfire) is awesome! Why? Because Starscream+Skyfire= canon Starscream OOCness! Also, Skyfire is a taxi. A really smart, really fast, heavily armed taxi. This is made of win.

...and would someone please explain to me how asexual robots can procreate, grow up, or have sexual preferences? (BeastWars is an obvious exception to the gender thing.) I don't get it.

Stargate: Atlantis a.k.a. The John and Rodney Show

Space Vampires, trapped in another galaxy, Stargateverse randomness, and things blowing up, what more could you ask for? Well, nothing... but you get The John and Rodney Show anyway! Take one cool yet dorky, Kirkesque, deceptively smart, suicidally heroic, ex-black ops, angsty past ridden pilot with silly hair and a license to snark, then mix with an obnoxious, self-absorbed, brilliant, egotistical, terrified, self-preservation obsessed, overly-talky, snarky, scientist with a tortured past, who's really a good sweet person under the jadedness, and throw them into unimaginable doom! The amusing banter and personality clash while they save the universe is ridiculous in the best way. (Yay for being verbose!)

They canceled this, but WHY?! First SG-1, now SGA! But they are making SGU. Huh, this reminds me of the Star Trek>Next Generation>Deep Space Nine>Voyager thing. It keeps getting darker...

South Park

This cartoon is automatically awesome! Why? Because I grew up in a small Colorado town myself. This means I understand more of the jokes than the rest of the people in the world! HA! You suck! Also: Dip, Style, Creek, Candy, Bunny, Stutters? When the name-mashing-pairing-things make words, it is automatically made of win.

Soul Eater

The anime version wishes it was Slayers, but fails. It's probably due to the fact that they ran out of episodes at the end, thus they had to make up all kinds of quick plot devices. It didn't work so well... While it's interesting, the ending pissed me off, but I'm not going into it. There are better things to babble about.

Death the Kid is why I love the series. His eternally board expression is amusing, especially with all the weird junk that goes on around him. He's always a gentleman, save the asymmetrical breasts thing (Can you say fanservice?), has the ability to look past people's mistakes, i.e. Chrona, and is determined to do what's right whilst being insane. Unlike most 'dark mysterious' characters, Kid is a teddy bear at heart and an obsessive compulsive maniac. Sure, he does his share of seriousness, angst, and wicked fighting, but he's hindered by the fact that must make everything symmetrical! If it's not he starts freaking out and hemorrhaging (Somehow I'm sure Kid's OCD is a result of Shinigami-sama's neglectful parenting...). It's a unique gag, and as an OCD suffering nut myself, I can totally relate...

I hate Ragnarok. Most people like him and I don't know why. He's rude, annoying, cruel, disgusting, and freaky looking, (so is Excalibur, but he's not evil, just annoying, so I don't mind him as much...). I hope he dies and Crona becomes a witch or something. I doubt that will happen though, I bet he's one of Okubo favorite characters because that's just how things work.
