Author has written 6 stories for Legend of Zelda, and Danny Phantom. Favorite Saying: "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill Favorite TV Quote of Last Update: From "Maternal Instincts" Maddie: Here, put this on. (puts the Specter Deflector around Danny's waist) I know it's girly, but it's for your own protection. Danny: (realizing it is locked around his waist) Great. At midnight I get my powers back, at 12:01 the belt zaps me, and at 12:02 Vlad tries to make out with my mom. (shudders) Those are going to be the worst two minutes of my life. Recent Messages: 8/18/2008: It's official, the story I will delete will be "The Chronicles of Shade: Genesis." I feel that the new story I have developed will be a better beginnng and a potentially better story than this. I will keep the same feel from this story except I will completely change the plot line. For those of you who haven't read it, then good. No harm done. But for those who were, I'm sorry. I hope the replacement is better. 8/7/2008: GAH!! 7 months when I said that I would continue, I still haven't done anything. It's really not easy trying to do nearly everything at once these days. Holding down a 38-hour-per-week job has really taken its toll on me, and not surprisingly, it has taken its toll on my writing time. Procrastination has always been my enemy, and it really shows with these unfinished works I currently have. Or perhaps it's a bit of that letdown feeling when a bulk of my writing comes from a show which is now cancelled... Consequently, I must make a choice. I will have to delete some stories I know that I will not finish, because psychologically, having this many unfinished stories really drives me crazy. Which ones I do delete is still up in the air. Hey, everyone, out there, reading this. Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm currently in college right now, but have no idea what I'll be later in life...although I'm currently working for a Biology major, it might change sometime in the future, because now I have developed a knack for acting (which is now one of my minors). Heh, maybe I can be on the show CSI or something, both with acting skills and information with the sciences involved. (Or, perhaps not...) Age: 21 (I honestly still can't believe this...) Gender: Male Characteristics: I stand 5'11", and have brown eyes and spiked black hair. Distinguishing Characteristic #1 There is a faint white line birthmark that runs down the bottom half of my neck to the middle of my chest. I honestly believe it looks kind of cool, like I had surgery there. Distinguishing Characteristic #2 I also have a distinguishing feature on my ear, a birthmark that makes it look like my ear's pierced. And I can't count up the number of times people have asked me the question if I had ever worn earrings, which I haven't. (I have a chain with a metal cross, however, worn like a choker around my neck.) Now people ask me if I like vampires in any way...(seriously, sometimes I just can't win...) Pen Name: BlackShadow875 (Be my guest and e-mail me...I am always looking for other people out there to chat with. Just write out your penname so I know who you are.) Nickname: "Shadow" was a nickname I had way back then, hence the second part of my penname (long story, only ask if you want to see me write about a page of text). Yes, this does sound a but similar to the story I'm currently writing, but I can assure that I'm not writing about myself. ID: 900375 (Since 9/20/05) Homepage: Deviantart (current status: no art) Update: Until I figure out how to work that stupid scanner that barely works sometimes, it will remain that way. Can anyone help me with that? That would help a lot. Favorites: Color: Silver Animals: Bats, Wolves, Red-tailed hawks Food: Pizza (but I refuse to eat pineapple on top of it) Holidays: Christmas and Halloween (The Nightmare Before Christmas rules! It fuses 'em together!) Sport: Basketball (no favorite team) Music: I now have an iPod, and with all of the stuff I've loaded into it, I can't seem to find a favorite genre anymore. I guess I like all kinds of music - everything seems to be in perfect balance. I can play six instruments - guitar, violin, clarinet, cymbals (these things are not as easy as you think!), harmonica, and piano. Subject: Math (I don't find myself as a math major, though), English, and Biology. (OK, so that's three subjects. Go figure.) Hobbies and Pastimes: Playing the guitar, playing video games, reading, logic, roller coasters, playing pick-up basketball games, watching TV, playing Texas Hold'Em, writing fiction pieces...(Just to name a few.) Among TV Programs: Heroes - I can only say that this show is very amazing. Everyday people finding unknown power within themselves to do the impossible, and trying to find each other to help stop a great tragedy from occurring. An instant favorite when I first saw previews for it. House M.D. - Despite the fact that the main character on the show is a complete a--hole in almost every episode, it's still an entertaining show. I like how some of the plot twists in the medical world could mean the difference in the world to a single patient, whether the cause could have come from the parents acting as a carrier to their child or the fact that the sickness is not what was expected before. Danny Phantom (currently cancelled, only showing reruns) - Just an interesting show...I don't know...maybe it's just that dark and more mature feel that the show seems to give off than other shows on that network, slowly being overtaken by the younger crowd (shudder). Glad to see a cartoon that actually stretched the boundaries. (Favorite episode: "My Brother's Keeper" - Don't know why the new emblem caused that much controversy, but I kind of liked it.) The Simpsons - A classic that has been blaring in my house for over ten years ever since I discovered it. I hope that it never goes off the air for any reason. I like quoting from that show all the time! (Favorite episode: "In Marge We Trust" - great Japanese commercial interpretation...) Whose Line Is It Anyway? (also cancelled, with reruns) - Nothing sets off laughter like people trying to make things off the top of their heads. Anything can happen, so there's the potential screw ups and and the occasional "best thing ever done" type of deal can emerge. Love the show, hope it never goes off the air. (Favorite games: Party Quirks, Hollywood Director, and Sound Effects.) CSI - Ever since I found enjoyment in reading Sherlock Holmes stories, I have always liked a good mystery. Seeing that this show existed was a great reminder of the interesting (yet sometimes terrifying) cases that our forces are currently dealing with. (Favorite episode: Can't name one! All are interesting.) Law and Order - Another great show from my interest with mysteries and solving cases. (Favorite episode: "Hate" - no comment) Music videos - Not really TV shows, but still something I watch. I like to be updated on the current trends of music. I Love Lucy - The first show of its kind! Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, in my opinion - the unmatched comedic couple in the history of television. (Favorite episode: "Lucy does a TV Commercial" - the Vitameatavegemin speech - who else could take her position?) Video Game Series: Zelda (Twilight Princess is seriously one of the greater games out there right now! Very good storyline, great graphics and gameplay. Being able to control the character through the new Nintendo console is really profound.) I also like some Mario games, the Final Fantasy series, RPGs, and the occasional sports game that catches my eye. Music Groups: Things have really changed for me. I can't nail down a specific group anymore, but my favorite songs still remain here below. Songs: "Clint Eastwood" by Gorillaz; "My Immortal" by Evanescence; "Hit the Floor" by Linkin Park Style of Writing: I'm a big fan of mystery stories, but my writing style goes basically in every direction. So whenever I have a story in mind, I try to please all sides of the reading crowd. Suspense is my main weapon, however. A lot of stories I write have some degree of suspense in them, depending on the circumstance. If I can keep the audience guessing until the very end, I know it's a good piece of fiction. I also write a lot about humanity, or the way people act in real-life situations. Because deep down in that hero, soldier, villain, or in my current case, half-ghost, there's always some type of emotion that makes a character unique. The more a story can relate to real life, the more I like it. And another thing - for many of my readers, they should definitely notice that I use ellipses, or the pausing symbol, "..." ,quite liberally. I don't know why, but for some reason, I guess it just stands better than a simple period to me, especially when it comes to suspense. Fiction Pieces Currently Working On: "Through Zoran Eyes" - a story centered on Zora Mikau, in the Zelda: MM series of the game. Please read it! "Echoes of the Night" - a Danny Phantom fanfic. Read this, too! "The Water's Reflection" - the sequel to "The Snow Turned into Rain." Summary coming later... "Identity" - A certain enemy of Danny's has been set free, and wreaks hell - but of course, Danny must be taken out of the picture first. Finished Pieces "The Snow Turned into Rain" - An angsty/suspenseful fic. set during the Christmas holidays in Amity Park. Remains to be my most favorite piece that I have ever wrote. Personal feelings, sacrifice, friendship, and fights clash all at once. Future Projects: I'm currently writing an AU story, which will be a replacement for the one I previously started, but never finished. I'm also working on a oneshot which I will not give away anything to. The following statement is true. The previous statement was false. | |||||||||||
