If you ask me anything I am happy to reply but...

I don't want to fill out your questionnaire about why I write fanfic.

I don't want to contribute to your statistics on what fic writers are generally like.

I don't want you to analyse why I write slash.

I don't care if you're writing a thesis about fanfic or a book about why we do it.

Stop bothering me with this, your idea isn't new, there are lots of people doing the same thing and they have already annloyed everybody you're about to annoy so please think of a new idea and leave us alone.

REAL LIFE WRITING

I have joined in with lots of other people in the Harry Potter fandom and submitted a short story to The Ripple Effect. This is an Anthology that has been published to raise money for the New Orleans Public Libraries post-Katrina. My story is only 850 words but I was lucky enough to have an artist illustrate it for me so I've very excited to see it.

AUCTION (now closed)

I was up for auction to raise money for the fanfiction site The Quidditch Pitch and raised over 70 dollars. If you don't know the site then let me fill you in. You can write whatever you like, whatever combination of characters you like, whatever sexual orientation you like and there are no dictatorial mods with mis-placed ideas of canon which they try to force onto other people like the Council over on Checkmated.

Most of you will know my feelings about Checkmated. I hate that site, hate it, they told me Ron wasn't deep or emotional and Hermione never lost her temper or swore. I think they are rude, obnoxious snobs and will have you know that they have rejected some of the best fic writers in fandom today.

Myself and fellow Ron-loving authors Scribhneoir, The Steppy One and Magnolia Lane have formed a rec list which you can access and subscribe to here.

We weren't going to put our own fics on the list but several people requested our stories be added so we came to an agreement. We are each alowed to rec ONE of each of the other's fics so there will be no more than three recs for each of us and the list will not be spammed by it's staff!
