I am beyond pleased to announce that after waiting ten days for my cord to be delivered, it finally came! Now I can finally stop using the five year old desktop my dad owns and go back to my own wonderful labtop! I've learned one thing from this experience, and that is to never take it for granted.

Because it's been ten days since I've worked on, or even looked at for that matter, my stories, I'm going to have to go back through and re-read everything and hopefully it will lead to me wanting to continue writting. There is still no telling when the next update will come for either of my stories but I promise you that they haven't been forgotten. I want to update them just as much as you'd like to see them updated but I refuse to rush myself only to post a chapter I don't feel is up to my usual standards... Though I am amazed that I actually HAVE standards.

Plus, after losing my beloved computer for that short while and since I hadn't a clue when my new cord would arrive, I've started through my library once again. This means that my stories will be placed on the back burner until I've either finished with the books I plan to read or until I find myself thinking up more and more ideas for them and am all but forced to begin putting them down on electronic paper. Who knows, maybe the books I have in mind will give me a few ideas?

RANT #2

Throughout the world of fanfiction, granted I mostly only read/write fanfiction for Harry Potter and Naruto, I've come across some things that bother me more than they probably should. However, I've come to the conclusion that there is one aspect of fanfiction that bothers me more than a weak plot, terrible spelling, and horrible grammar combined and that is shippers!

It just bothers me that these people could be so obsessed with a single pairing that they will read, and love, a story that, if it had any other pairing or no pairing at all, they would have hated because of a weak plot, grammar, or spelling while at the same time these people will not even touch a perfectly wonderful story simply because they don't agree with the pairing.

The fact that I mostly read/write Naruto and Harry Potter fanfiction, which I've found to have the worst shippers out there, means that I come across a great deal of them. I've even read of some people who actually wrote to J.K. Rowling herself and told her that Harry should have ended up withHermione, that SHE had missed all the "blatant" signs that they were in love and would end up together... Really? After reading from the second book on, there were still people who were surprised that Harry ended up withGinny and Ron withHermione? As a non-shipper, and a HUGE Harry Potter fan, I only ever saw Harry and Hermione having a brother/sister type relationship and knew from book two that Harry would end up with Ginny, which was fine by me since I found her crush on him adorable.

Believe me, it's not exactly any better in the Naruto fanficiton world, and as someone who posts Naruto fanfiction, it annoys me to no end! I hate the fact that some of my stories may never be read by certain people simply because I decided to pair Naruto with Hinata, or Sakura, or any other girl. It bothers me that the countless hours I put into writing a story I wish to share with my fellow fans will be ignored in favor of a story which, in my opinion, is terrible. Now, I'm not saying that my stories are perfect, I'll even be the first person to tell you that they are far from it, but I've read some stories that honestly make you want to bash your head against a wall until you can't remember what you've read.

Now, unlike my previous rant, I can't exactly say that these people aren't fans, but in the world of fanFICTIONthey are the worst of the worst. I'm sure that there are countless others who will agree with me that a story should be judged on more than just it's pairing. That you should, regardless of the pairing, give a story a chance if it seems like something you might enjoy!

I've been reading fanfiction for years now and I can honestly tell you that some of the best stories I have ever read are those with non-common pairing!

RANT #1!

Just finished reading chapter 459 of Narutoand I don't care what anyone says, I still love that series. It's always bothered me how many people have given up on it or only continue with it because it's become a habit of theirs. The complain about Sasuke being to powerful and Naruto not being powerful enough after the time skip but I never actually understood this. Yes Sasukeis powerful but he HAS been pushed in his battles with some of the more powerful shinobi, and lets not forget that he received training from Orochimaru for close to three years and has a pair of eyes that can copy and jutsu... Are those people complaining about him stupid? He has all those advantages and people somehow expected him to show up after the times skip about the same in terms of power and ability that he had before he left Konoha?

When I hear complaints about Narutonot being powerful enough after his training with Jiraiya, I always find myself wondering how much these people actually paid attention to the story or what was being said. The entire reason Jiraiya wanted to train Naruto was so that he could better control Kyuubi's chakra, and from what it said that was mostly what they worked on. He didn't take on Naruto to turn him into some uber shinobi, like most seem to want to believe.

Look, despite how a great many of us fanfic writers like to portray him, Narutois an idiot. He isn't faking it or hiding his true intelligence. He is just an idiot. An idiot with more chakra than he can properly control. While a draw back at times, his enormous chakra reserves are just about the ONLY thing he has that places him above the others. Sasuke, while not being my favorite character in the series, is a genius. He has countless things going for him that give him an advantage over his peers. Was I really the only one who WASN'T surprised to find that Sasuke had increased his abilities to such an extent while Naruto's growth, at the time, was barely noticeable? Naruto is the failure who works himself to the bone to succeed and who the reader is supposed to cheer for when this happens. Sasuke is the genius who has everything come easy to him. He is who Naruto is supposed to overcome... It's like this in almost all action manga/anime so why did the second half surprise so many people? Did they honestly expect to have Naruto return to Konoha as some untouchable shinobi who brushes Sasuke aside like he's nothing?

I've heard countless people say that Kishimoto is ruining Naruto or that he has failed his fans. If I could, I'd kick ever one of you who believes this in the head. You call yourselves fans and yet all you can do if bitch and moan because YOU didn't like where the story was headed. YOU let your expectations and assumptions get in the way and when he decided to take a different rout than what you believed he should have, you act like it's some grievous insult to your person.

In the end I suppose that's a big middle finger to those of you who call yourselves fans but have no business doing so, and an even bigger thank you to those true fans who have continued to place your trust in Kishimoto.

A LOYAL fan of Kishimoto and Naruto, and eagerly awaiting the next chapter,

I've been reading fanfiction on this site for years, and I've noticed something as of late that has been bothering me. In the last few days I've read through quite a few stories, some good and some not, but nearly all of them has used the term 'Grimoire' at some point. What I found odd is that before a couple of days ago, I had yet to come across this word in any of the stories I've read. I'll admit that I cannot recall every word I have ever read and since I've read a LOT of fanfiction I could be wrong, but since I had to look up the word just to know what it meant, I don't think I am.

What I want to know is, why the sudden outbreak of the word Grimoire? As someone who, if my memory is to be believed, has never come across this term before in HP fanfiction, I was a bit confused as to why I suddenly began seeing it about 98 of the stories I've read as of late.

Anyone care to explain this to me?

IMPORTANT!! ... Kind of...

If anyone happens to read this and would like to suggest a story(preferably Narutoor Harry Potter) that they've written or simply enjoyed reading, I'd love to hear about it. I'd say no slash pairings, as I've never found one that was worth my time, but if you have one in mind that you think may change my opinion than feel free to message me.

The reason I'm asking is that, like many long time visitors of this site, I'm starting to feel as though I've read everything there is to read(actually I've been feeling like this for the past year or so). I know I haven't but I'm still in need of some help to find a good story or two(hopefully many).

'Unlikely Angel' is the longest story I've written to date and 'Can You Forgive' is a close second. In most cases I find myself writing a lot and updating quickly but I also burn myself out that way. I wrote the eight chapters that were posted under 'Unlikely Angel' in just over a week, eight days, and now I'm having to step back and rethink some things. Since most of my chapters for the story have been over or right around thirty pages long, I think most would agree that is a long time spent writing.

I've been told by a few reviewers that 'Unlikely Angel' has to many jokes, I don't honestly know what they expected since it's under Romance/Humor. My stories are sappy love stories that make your teeth rot or fall on your ass laughing type stories, at least that is how I see them. I don't write angsty 'everyone dies or is beaten' melodramas. Everyone, save the bad guy, ends up happy in my fics. That's just how I write. Now don't get me wrong, I love reading a good angst story as much as the next person, I simply can't write one to save my life.

I also have a problem with reviewers who tell the author that a character wouldn't do this or they would have done that. I try not to be rude to them but inside I am cursing up a storm and want nothing more than to slam their head into a wall. The way a character acts is entirely up to the author. A character who is OoC is not supposed to be cannon! AU will not be the same as the original! If you feel the need to make yourself sound stupid than feel free and review my story but I can guarantee that I will make fun of you in my next update. Not to be mean or anything but if you say stupid things you should expect to be made fun of.

My writing style stays mainly in the genres of Romance/Comedy but if need be I can be serious, but not for very long. I usually have multiple stories going at anyone time because I always think of a new idea while I'm typing. As odd as it sounds most of my stories start as very simple ideas like 'I want Narutoto date Tenten' and then I'll come up with something like 'Unlikely Angel' or 'I want Kyuubi to be female' and I get 'Can You Forgive'. I do have a few Harry Potter ficsthat I've written, and some I even like, but they will never see the light of day. Most of them started as little more than a pairing or 'I want Harry to have a raven'. Not the best way to start a story but it works for me. I guess if I were being honest with myself I'd admit that it really doesn't since without an actual outline, my stories never seem to get finished.

To any fans of my two stories: They will be updated, or re-posted since I've since taken them both down. I love 'Unlikely Angel' and believe it to be my best work to date so it is only a matter of time before it is re-posted.

Well, if anyone even bothered to read this far than you have a basic idea of what I am like. Feel free to read my stories or PM me with any questions you may have. Most of the time I get better PM's the I do reviews. What good is a review that only says 'Update Soon!'? How is that motivating or helpful?

... I should probably stop myself now or I'll be ranting all night.
