A Happy Thought was my very very first fanific I ever wrote -it's Harry/Ginny and was my take on what the end of Book Seven would be. Then... I was introduced to Draco/Ginny fic and kinda got obsessed. I still enjoy Harry/Ginny fic on occasion -- particularly if it's written very well -- and I have my favourite authors now... but I usually go out for D/G and now I mainly write D/G.
A Role to Play IS NOW BETAD here. My very first chaptered fic. It took about three weeks to write, but over a YEAR to type. I had a baby in the mean time... so I'm using that as my excuse. Hopefully you won't find the last chapter to be SO different from the rest... I typed it just over a year after typing Chapter Eight and I have become, in my opinion, a much better writer. Oh well. ;) Also-- I should put in a BIG BIG thank you to Dennis (He's wvchemteach over at LJ) for giving me all the help he did regarding Role Playing games. I've never played one and he was a HUGE help -- and what makes him doubley sweet is that he will never actually get to read the end result (seeing as D/G makes him almost as sick as H/Hr or D/Hr makes me!) Also, I used many many betas... they are thanked in the chapter notes... but all of them are really and truely wonderful! Thank you so much!
The Clock -My most favourite of all the fics I've written- A D/G/H where my favourite bouncing ferret gets the girl... of course... It's a one-shot... post HBP and I really liked it and couldn't write anything while the plot bunny was biting... so I hope you like, read, and review! ;) Kisses to Colleen -- thaks for being a fabulous beta:) Dedicated to _eyesonfire at LJ because she was sad after HBP when none of the D/G writers were willing to deal with new canon.
Much Better was written for the first round of the dgficexchange on Live Journal for gianfared, who is a FABULOUS writer... so I was very nervous. It's of course, a Draco/Ginny fic... and it was about as naughty as I could write -- I'm such a prude! ;) I hope you like it, but I want to say this LOUD AND CLEAR -- IT IS A ONESHOT. There will be no sequel... at least by me. (Though I am flattered that I have had so many requests and personal messages asking me to do a sequel. ;))
Grief was written for the second round of the dgficexchange for scarletangel68. She asked for "Draco deals with his feelings for Ginny through a process akin to the seven stages of grief." - I was completely inspired! It is another favourite of mine... probably my next favourite after 'The Clock'.
20 Random Facts that you’d never guess about Draco Malfoy was written as part of the Harry Potter Random Facts Fest organized by iulia_linnea on LJ. She had us write these points so that other people could pick one and write a full fledged fic. So far, only one author has tried that: Lady S Roland wrote "Why Bats Don't Repulse Me Anymore" based on number 10 (It's found here on fanfic.net). Feel free to write one, if you like. My only requests are that you credit me, you let me know so I can come read and review, and you keep Draco and Ginny together. ;)
Coming Home was actually written last, despite looking like it was written before Grief and the 20 Random facts... I wrote it for a former friend on her birthday. Her birthday was December 15th -- I however, didn't get it finished until the middle of March. I am a terribly friend! ;) Anyway, she liked Angst. I write fluff. So this was my attempt at angst - that turned terribly wrong and got all fluffy! Thankfully, she liked badass!Ginny. ;)
Victory's Prize was written for Distempered for the third round of the dgficexchange. She asked for "Wartime fic. Propaganda/ victory gardens/the 'bring the boys home' vibe. DE-spy!Draco. Ginny/Draco as secret lovers who intend to marry once he gets back home, sod what their parents have to say about them being too young/being total enemies. Stolen moments of passion during weekend leave. Maybe a baby? And a side pairing of Harry/Susan." This was my attempt. Special thanks to Rarity, Seegrim and Mourning Broken Angel for the fabbity beta jobs!
Something was a gift!fic for rjsteamboat76 on livejournal. It's my first BSG fic (and probably my last) and it's my very first technical 'genfic' too...so I hoped he enjoyed it. I started by writing what ended up a Kara/Lee fic, so I hope he'll forgive me for my tardiness when he sees it's NOT that dreaded pairing... (dreaded to him... not me... him. ;)). Happy Birthday, Rod! ;)
Choices was written for the dgficexchange on LJ for numbaby. She asked for something not dark, per se, but nothing too fluffy. With ideas of conspiracy, betrayal and revenge really came into play (like the real Ides of March). It was to incorporate a Roman artifact and/or Latin name, and a reference to Octavius (aka Caesar Augustus).
