Author has written 26 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Sukisho, Tsubasa Chronicle, and Junjō Romantica. I prefer most anime or manga with BL, yaoi, or shounen-ai undertones, though I have been partial to regular stuff with a main or background homo character. I write my own stuff, but I don't post it here. For the most part, I enjoy writing fics about whatever yaoi or BL anime or manga I am into, at the time. My favorite anime manga: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Junjou Romantica, and Okane ga Nai. My favorite couples: Kurogane x Fay from TRC, and Miyagi x Shinobu from Junjou Romantica. My favorite characters are Kurogane from TRC, and Miyagi from Junjou Romantica. I have a tendency to prefer humor when writing, and at times I may focus too much on my favorite character, for which I apologize. As far as writing goes, my main goal is to write a complex and dynamic plot which integrates the fundamentals of the series' I love while keeping the characters in-character but still exploring key issues that otherwise go ignored or neglected in the actual manga. At times I enjoy writing about seemingly trite, cliche, or overly dramatic stuff, but my characters typically come out of it with some character development. I'll say this now: I take the things I love very seriously, and so if something's not kept in character or is too crackish, unless I'm in a weird mood, I won't read it. When people take my favorite characters and have lame angst fests where the characters try to hurt themselves or are suddenly mistreated by the characters who (in canon) love them, those types of things really irk me. I hate that I keep falling in love with couples such as KuroFay or Junjou Romantica couples and then the fandoms besmirch my favorite mangas' very existence by throwing their emo B. S. into the mix and trying to pass it off as angst or drama, when it's really just emo girls writing emo fics about their emo fantasies and spreading their emo around like the plague. The emo look is cute, the emo B. S. fics I've seen are disgusting. My rant is meaningful in that I promise not to write anything ugly like that. There will be no rape, in my fics, no destroying of the main characters' personalities, and absolutely no self-mutilation or suicide crap. There's enough of that fodder muddling up the Junjou Romantica category as it is, thanks. If you want to be a loser who fantasizes about self-mutilation or attempting to beautify such superficial and chidish fantasies which include self-loathing due to someone not loving you enough, do it in your own messed up head and stop trying to recruit others or spread the disease. | |||||||||||
