Last Poll: Which of the following archetypes/character stereotypes would you find the oddest if applied to Ash Ketchum?
Results: well apparently none of you are all that convinced by playboy Ash, followed by 'Harry Potter' Ash, and some requiring you to be convinced of Ash's supreme intellect. Nobody seemed to mind him as an idealistic lawyer, which I will bear in mind any time I decide to write AU and have to give Ash a career. I kinda had the feeling that Playboy Ash would be the least convincing, but I was surprised by how the rest of them ranked, so thanks for the insight. Check out my new poll.

I'm probably too old to still be watching cartoons and as this has always said - totally obsessed with couples. I'll basically watch anything on TV and thus the wide variety of stories available for you to read. I also have very eclectic taste in books so I think that helps a bit too. As you can see, I've been on fanfiction a long time, so there's a major style difference between my early and later works. I should warn you now that I was 14/15 when I wrote Reasons and hopefully that will excuse me somehow.

Ash: The Last Stand: It's time for Ash to make a second attempt at the Pokemon League. With his friends and family to support him, will he finally have what it takes to succeed? Based in a way on several things that I think will need to be resolved in order for us to get closure if they really are going to replace Ash with Dawn, for example: Gary/Ash rivalry, Ash's parentage (x), Team Rocket (because Dawn needs to find her own villains, she can't just bludge of Ash's), Brock's womanizing ways, the question of Pikachu's evolution, and one more try at the Indigo Plateaux. A rather extensive list, and that's not even half of it. Pokeshipping, and Oakshipping so far along with a few one-sided NotMySister-shipping hints (and MorningWoodShipping hehe!). Probably Parentshipping and Mangashipping to come. Story currently on HIATUS due to me losing my way a bit (I want to thank TheSimonFanfic for their incredibly insightful review, which was right on the mark). For some reason I keep getting lost in these fics right about the time that Sabrina gets introduced.

Rivals to the End

On Angels Wings : AAMRN. "I know angels are overrated, but that's what I am and Angel and this is my story." This is the story of a feministic gaurdian angel sent to earth in human form to keep a boy who seems to have sixth sense for danger out of trouble. (slight mangashipping). Story on HIATUS.

Karate, Kung Fu and 47 Other Dangerous words: AAMR, it was going to be a one shot in au style about the loves and losses of a spy Ashton Satoshi Ketchum but then I wrote six thousand words and still wasn't finished so now its just in lots of parts. Status: Writers Block.

I'll Take The Tears: Co-written by Asukakusanagi. This story started as being based on the 'Sweet Valley Legacies' in that it was the idea of Ash and Misty being destined to fail romantically in order for their separate offspring to find love. Then it languished and I came up with a better idea that was a bit more akin to Parent Trap in some ways. The main characters are OT, but then there's lots of Ash and Misty too. AAMR.

Live Forever, Die Tomorrow: Kaho has been diagnosed with a heart condition and she has only one wish for Touya who she must leave behind – that he be happy even when she’s gone. But who could take her place in his heart. Who could make him smile through the toughest times he has ahead and make him want to love again when everything tells him to hang up his hat and die? “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die tomorrow.” James Dean. TxN. ABANDONED.

Someone Elses Shoes : The worst way to miss someone is standing right next to them knowing you can't have them and Rika knows this better than anyone. For five years she has been in love with her best friend Henry and when a wish doesn't turn out the way it should her love for him is the only thing left to hold onto. Jenruki, Jurikato, Ryo is gay. Status: Just completed a re-write of what has already been posted, but this means I'm having to re-work quite a lot of this story.

A DigiNights Dream: Based on A Midsummer Night's Dream this is a story of love, revenge, jealousy/envy and lust - all the the best emotions really. Matt loves Sora, and the two are bethrothed for reasons that can't be explained here, only she loves Tai who conveniently loves her back. Mimi loves Matt, and he knows this and tends to use it to his advantage. Izzy loves Yolei and Yolei loves Izzy and everything would be fine if they could get past the fact that they also hate each other for the majority of the time. Ken doesn't love anyone, but that doesn't stop him, or Davis (who as we all know loves Kari, but that's not really relevant right now) from being dragged into this sordid tail of misadventure, misunderstandings, mistaken identities, mystery, mischieviousness, melancholy and just madness generally. Status: Writers Block. This started as a Taiora and is slowly turning into a Mimato which is kind of strange.

Priceless: Started off as a few 'deleted scenes'/head canon rewrites of the end of Season 2. Still sort of plotless, so updates are very sporadic due to me not really having any clue where exactly I'm going with this. It's definitely a priority, so we'll see what happens now I've got a bit of time on my hands. Payson/Sasha

Price of Love: Sakura is heart broken when she thinks that Syaoran has been killed in a plane crash, and now a mysterious stranger has come to test her heart which has become corrupted by her grief. SS with some ET on the side.

Beyond the Shadows: A story where the worst situation tends to bring out the best in people and their deepest desires are revealed. Its about a girl who uses love to help her escape from the cruel reality she lives in. AAMRN. BrockxOC (what was I thinking?!)

Pretend to be Nice: Misty would do absolutely anything to get to the once in a lifetime concert that Westlife are holding right in the middle of Kanto. The problem is that it's been sold out for months and her only option is to be the pawn in Jesse Rocket's sinister plan. AAMRN. Minor: Rocketshipping.

Valentines Verse : Lost Lyrics: Ash comes to a crossroads where he has to make a decision he never wanted to make. Three ghosts of the past, present and future are here to help. AAMRN.

Reasons of the Heart: My most popular fic. A bit cliched and contrived at parts, but completely and utterly addictive. I was going through a 'Pokemon the Musical' thing and so there is a song in every single chapter - just skip past them. Ash and Misty get into a fight and don't see each other for many years only to run into each other again at college of all places (I realize now that I never fully explained what Ashy-boy was doing there). Never have the words damn you Ash' been used more often in a single fic and the source of other such infamous lines as 'it was never about the bike'. AAMRN. Minor: MelodyxOC, BrockxSabrina.

Three Small Words: It seems that everyone but Touya seems to get it and they have a very clever plan to make sure he realises it before its too late. Touya and Nakuru fic. Some SS and ET. CCS.

Not What You Think: I just thought it would be funny if the characters of CCS had to endure a THINGE. This is the story of how one misdirecting email can bring two people together when everybody else around them had failed (although that last bit is really a side bit, and if anyone would like to write a prequel for this based on that, go right ahead). SS with a touch of ET on the side.

Brock: A Short History: A story about a bit of Brock's life before he joined up with Ash & Co. Sort of based around the Marsh badge episode and inspired by the Electrical Tale of Pikachu (a strange combination I'm sure). Exploring Brock's friendship/romance with Sabrina. Just something different for a change. Implied pokeshipping.

Sweet Home Pallet: A parody of the movie Sweet Home Alabama. At age 25 it seems that Misty Kasumi Waterflower has been living three different lives and now Sumi, Misty and Kasumi are about to converge as she is once again urged to take on yet another persona for the sake of love. Satokasu/AAMRN. Minor couples: rocketshipping, mangashipping, a very slight hint at eldershipping in one scene if you squint.

Game-Set-Match: Not about tennis. One of my personal favourites. At 21 Brock still can't get a date with anyone generally and Suzy in particular, so he asks Misty a favour - to set him up with one of her friends so that he can prove to Suzy that he is in fact 'boyfriend material'. After some careful thought, Misty comes up with the perfect match but of course things are never as straightforward as they seem. BrockxSabrina, with AshxMisty on the side and 'Misty clone' bashing.

Something in the Water: Oneshot. When Gary comes out of the closet, Ash has to deal with Misty making certain assumptions about all the Pallet boys and goes to Gary for some 'advice' on how to prove to Misty that he isn't 'that way inclined'. Pokeshipping.

Pikachupi: Ritchie informs Ash of the meaning of a certain word in Pikachu's vocabulary. How does he react? Badly.

The Show Must Go On: Misty is directing a Water Show in the gym and she's asked Dawn to take the leading role as the underwater princess. But who will she ask to be her prince? Like you even have to ask. AAMR.

Ash: The Last Stand (Beginnings): The first arc is complete! .

I Am Not My Sister's Keeper: Sometimes keeping two people apart is exactly the thing that brings them together. An SS from Touya's perspective - essentially Touya is doing everything in his power to prevent his sister from falling in love with Li Syaoran, but somehow ends up facilitating the whole thing. More TN than SS, but I'm a sucker for a good TouyaNakuru. Companion piece GateKeeper

I Thought I Saw a Rainbow: Ash finally finds the courage to confess his feelings for Misty, but things somehow go awry and she mistakes his confession of love for something else entirely. Now Ash has to find a way to tell Misty he loves her, while she labours under certain misapprehensions about his sexual preferences. Somehow the words 'I love you, Myst, and BTW I'm not gay' just aren't going to cut it. AAMR.

It's Only Love: Li Syaoran must return to the Kinomoto Kingdom with the remains of his fiancee after her death. But a marriage is still required and now Syaoran must choose one of Kinomoto Fujitaka's six remaining daughters in order to preserve an alliance between the two kingdoms. AU. SyaoSaku

The Road Less Travelled: MIOBI one-shot. Sasha(and Payson)'s son follows his own path to Olympic gold, not entirely dissimilar form his father's.

Matchmaker: A Cautionary Tale: AAML based on a similar premise to Game-Set-Match, and turning one of the romantic-comedy cliches on its head. It appears to be a Gary-Misty-Ash love triangle, but I'm too much of pokeshipper to write one for real. Yes, Gary is my sub, but only if Ash and Misty aren't available to one another.

Just a Number: What if Sasha never came to The Rock? He was never her coach, she was never his gymnast. All that stands between them is the age gap . . . and the Atlantic Ocean. And his reputation. And the fact that nobody thinks he’s right for her. But age is Just a Number . . . right? Payson/Sasha. AU.

Death of a Pokemon: This is, rather ironically I think, about a dying ghost Pokemon with one last wish before he leaves his trainer. Could Brock be the answer? Thanks to pikagurl23 I finally know why I like writing BASR so much - because of the totally drama free AAMR I get to write on the side (Ash and Misty are exceptionally cute together and I hardly ever get to write that because it's just not interesting as a main plot). Also its the psychic thing - I totally don't get why more people don't write about Sabrina.

Citrus paradisi: The Forbidden Fruit: It started out with a simple thought - why doesn't anyone ever write a pregnancy fic where the couple are practicing safe sex, where it isn't a 'one-night-stand', where the couple have been together for more than a year? What if instead of a couple of crazy hormonal teens, it were two consenting adults in their early twenties? What if instead of being madly in love and unable to control their urges, it was just about sex - at least in the start? And what if one of those people was psychic? Now it gets interesting.
Pure, unadulterated BASR, and I seriously mean it - there are whole chapters in here where Ash and Misty don't even get a mention. I'm making a serious attempt at a proper BASR (not merely a one-shot like fic) with plot development, burgeoning feelings and chronological progression - I would even go as far as to call is a BASRN. Inspiration for this one is Bittersweet Romanticide's Canon Rape although I'd be damned if I could tell you which chapter.

One Week : AAMRN. Ash and Misty haven't seen each other face-to-face in five years, so it isn't too much of a surprise when she doesn't recognize him on her doorstep as a man on a mission - to close the Cerulean Gym!
Summary: When a handsome stranger shows up on your doorstep you'd be forgiven for any initial 'impure' thoughts or ponderings of good fortune, but those tend to fade once you discover the person is the official league inspector and your home is now at risk of closure. What more, he's rude, cold, occasionally sweet, but overall indifferent and expects you to put him up for the week while he inadvertently ruins your life. But its only one week right? How bad could it be?

Sibling Rivalry: A complicated AAMR. Ash sets his brother, Jason, up with Misty in order to somehow put an end to his tumultuous affair with Giselle. Misty agrees to a date with Jason, mostly out of disappointment that it wasn't a date with Ash, and when Ash asks her how the date was, the two end up spending the night together (don't ask). Now Jason thinks he likes Misty, Ash knows he likes Misty and Misty definitely likes Ash, but she's sort of dating Jason because Ash assured her it would only be for a few weeks, but weeks turn into months and soon Ash is carrying out a sordid affair with his brother's girlfriend behind his back, unable to stay away from the woman he loves. It's complicated.

The Apartment: AU. It's weird because this one has a very CCS story line, but the characters were just sooo Pokemon. Its starts off with egoshipping gone awry, and after a very nasty breakup, the two are at odds over who gets to keep the apartment. In the end Gary, moves out, but only in the short term as he schemes to get it back. Which is how Ash comes into it - Gary plans to use Ash and his natural tendency to annoy as a means of driving Misty out of her own apartment and acquiring it for himself. Too bad he never factored in the possibility for love.
Summary: The ending was a long time coming, but it was over now and the apartment was hers. Or so Misty thought, because Gary has a plan to drive her out with a little help from an old friend. AAML
Inspiration: "And it's too late, to turn this around when . . . every little thing you say to me, brings me one step closer to a felony. You keep pushing me, towards the edge and . . . the only thing keeping me around right now, is knowing how much it pisses you off"

More Than You Think You Are: AU-ish. Story being re-written, but only the Pokemon story line. Satoshi is a young mage entrusted with the task of collecting the mystical clow cards, who for some reason, and despite Kasumi's best efforts, would much rather be Shigeru's rival. As the three battle to collect the cards (aided by Takeshi and Natsume), they begin to wonder if maybe this is not the place they are supposed to be and find that they must each give up something important in order to return to their own world and where they belong. Pokeshipping, Mangashipping & Rocketshipping.

E-Sy Like Sunday Morning: Haven't really got a plot for it yet, but I just came up with the best ever title for an EriolxSyaoran fic and now I feel obliged to write one as a special challenge to myself. I think everyone should try at least one random coupling. Will be total crack.

Si naif! (French: So naive!). SxS marriage fic I've always wanted to do. No more than three chapters. Romantic comedy, or at least I hope it's funny.
Summary: With a determinative nod she resigned herself to what she had to do. There was nothing else to it. She had no other choice. She was simply going to have to seduce her husband, and goddammit! he would like it.

If the Shoe Fits: Wicked (Musical). A cinderella story. Fiyero's life was at a standstill until she walked in - hair like onyx, eyes like chocolate, and skin like the driven snow - he has to have her or die trying. But what about the emerald skinned girl that suddenly crashes into his life on the first day of school - the fiery, passionate, assertive girl who forces his life overdrive and definitely keeps things interesting. Two girls and one choice: does he want the girl of his dreams? or the one who makes them a reality? Fiyero & Elphaba Romance/Humour

Mother Knows Best: Make It Or Break It.
Kim Keeler, despite some initial reservations, has come to accept that sometimes you just can't help who you fall in love with, and as such, she's turning her hand to matchmaking. Oh sure, her previous attempt (aka Summer Van Horne) might not have turned out so well for Sasha, but this time it would be different and just the simple matter of helping the two to realize their mutual feelings for one another. Because frankly, she'd done enough waiting, and now it's time to scheme her way to some blonde haired flipping grandchildren. Payson/Sasha.

The Things We Left Behind: Make It Or Break It. A continuance of Hide & Go Seek. After London 2012 Payson Keeler and Sasha Belov thought they had left gymnastics behind forever. Now, ten years later, The Rock's assistant coach has come to lure them out of hiding in order to help three amazingly talented gymnasts reach their Olympic dreams. Only problem is - how do they explain it to the kids?

While You Were Sleeping: Make it Or Break It. Taking on your typical romantic comedy this time. When Payson suffers a fall during practice, Sasha does whatever necessary in order to get the information he needs. Who would have thought that the title fiance would have such a propensity to stick?

The Girl Next Door: Big Bang Theory. An AU rewrite of the first season featuring Penny's two year old daughter, Georgia.
From the first time Sheldon Cooper saw his neighbour 3B it was love at first sight. Falling in love with her mother took a little longer. Shenny.

EIGHT . . . people I’d like to meet: Satoshi Tarij – so I could force my idea’s upon Pokemon Mwahahahahah Ohohohohohohoh (BRING BACK MISTY!); The Head of Nelvana – so I could punish them for what they did to Card Captor Sakura (in particular how they turned the first moment Syaoran and Sakura use eachothers first names a nonevent); Whoever was in charge for that last episode of the second Digimon – it was so obvious Kari and TK were meant to be together and they weren’t and instead they had two other random couples that I don’t like, and they wouldn’t even admit to one of them in the English version, and in short someone must be punished; Douglas Adams - I am so obsessed with Hitchhikers right now and meeting him would be very, very, very cool; B. F. Skinner - he seems like someone it would be very cool to have a conversation with don't you think? Father of behaviourism in case you were wondering. Verbal Behavior is more or less my bible at the moment; Rowan Atkinson - again, would seem a very cool person to have a conversation with and I love Blackadder; on a similar note, Hugh Laurie; and I have to say Sigmund Freud - there are just so many controversies when you start to look into it, I would love to talk to him and find out what he really meant. Alternatively, I would love for him to psychoanalyse me - I wonder what deep sordid tales he would reveal and what this bio says about the dark innerworkings of my mind.

SEVEN . . . things that annoy me: Hypocrites. People who pollute storm water drains - I don't know why that in particular seems to get to me but it does. Continuity errors. Really mean and critical reviews that just make you hostile and the people who write them - please, if you're going to be critical, at least have a basis for it e.g. your spelling sucks, your plot is mediocre and cliched; 'POKEMON IZ SUCKED AND YOU ARE STUPID AND PEOPLE IZ STUPID TO READ THIS' is not a good critique. Lack of manners. Twilight, though I think it's mostly jealousy because, seriously, it's no better than the fanfic I wrote when I was fifteen (in fact, they even share a few plot devices/cliches) and yet nobody every wanted to make Reasons of the Heart into a movie and paid me ungodly sums of money to do so. Advanceshipping - don't know why it gets to me, probably cos it actually has enough hints to challenge pokeshipping. Just with regard to advanceshippers, how do they deal with the whole Drew thing? cos Contestshipping is practically canon.

The Man Who Can't Be Moved by The Script - it's currently my Payson/Sasha song

ONE . . . character I could spend the rest of my life with: Tenth Doctor (although Sasha Belov, particularly my version of him, is a very close second), I mean who wouldn't. He takes you across the galaxy, he occasionally puts on a very sexy Scottish accent, he is a remarkable dresser (love the cut of his gib much?), and even though he's not ginger, he happens to be dead sexy. If only he didn't have such a propensity for getting into such tiresome situations. He's like Ash only all sexy and Scottish - mmmmm, Scots are so hot right now.
