The Orks of Tam'urt-

This is my newest fan fiction, and I am regularly posting more chapters. I now have internet again, so no more lump posting - it'll be chapter by chapter hopefully at least once a week (depending on how busy I am). Sorry for delay in update, I've been playing WAR online. See bottom of my page for my WAR details, incase anyone wants to do quests and stuff together.

(11OCT08)Wanna know what things were buzzing around my head while I'm writing my Ork story? Or you would perhaps just like to know some weird stuff? This list is being updated whenever I get my lazy butt around to it!

The Orks of Tam'urt - Factoids!

Yes, I'm bored and have a slight case of writters block (okay, so Ongrat requested a day off while he got over his irritable bowel syndrome... all those violent scenes left him with a gut full of WAAAAGH! energy to contend with). But here goes!

So... factoids... well, I'll start with anything I can remember! I'll try and group facts together by relevency to each other:

-Cezzy-Po sings "Don't Get Lost In Heaven" by the Gorillaz in chapta four.

- Brudz sings "Voodoo Child" by the Rogue Traders in chapta eight.

- I though I had a paragraph in the underground base where Sam hummed something, but I must have deleted it...

- "Tam'urt" was named after the town I live at (my town name isn't Tam'urt, but it's something similar).

- Squigsy was meant to be named Squiggy, but I decided Squiggy was a crap name (so I made a lame excuse to change it).

- The terrain is based on the Australian terrain (makes it easier for me to describe more accurately).

- Red things really do go faster. (lol)

- Mumzy is older than Gotshik.

- Some of the jokes are actually based on real events (but not all, obviously I've never once seen or played poker as violent as scar poka!)

- I remember the clans by colour because it's easier ("Blue ork dude! Black ork dude! Yeah, that red one! Oh wait, he's yellow! Brown ork dude that got splattered! Green? They're ALL green!")

- Om nom nom!

- "Say of Da Day" doesn't actually relate to the chapta in some weird subliminal way... it's just randomly there, because it can be.

- "Tankabell" was supposed to be "Tinkerbell" but, well, I just wouldn't have it.

- Oric was scheduled to be killed off, because I got pissed off at who he was based on... now that plan has changed. Slightly.

- All "moonswing alter egos" are based upon either mythical characters, historical people and things, fictional characters from comics, movies, games, and/or books, and other random stuff.

- Cezzy-Po is obsessed with bare chests. She also enjoys hacking them open, and modifying what's inside.

- Ilgil was originally going to be a boy.

Giant Update - Spring Clean

As of 11AUG08 (my time... ) I have deleted EVERY fan fic besides my 2nd gem, The Orks of Tam'urt and a Mortal Kombat skit (because my Orks were feeling lonely). Why? Because the ones deleted sucked. Badly. And I wanted to start fresh. Gruntish (my halo comedy fan fic) is still up at my Deviantart account (see below for link), it was my first gem. If anything else gets put up here, it is because it has passed my new standards.

No more mary sues. No more trash that just popped into my head. If I post it, it's because I put 110 percent effort in.

Some of my fan fics have different roles; I write some for fun, I write others for genuine practice, and others I write in the aim of making something enjoyable for others to read. I often find that writing different types of fan fictions challenges me in deifferent ways which helps me to be able to write better. Leonarda Da Vinci didn't start painting master peices the first day he picked up a paint brush or pencil, after all. We all must start somewhere, just as he did.

Anime/Shows I like: (no particualr order here) House, Transformers (G1, BW, Armada), Gundam (SDGF, SD, Wing), Gokusen (subtitled), Wall Flower (subtitled), Ninja Scroll, That 70's Show, Mr. Bean, The Lateshow, and several other comedies.

Occupation: I am studying at TAFE, doing a Certificate IV in Aeroskills Mechanical. Should finish by mid November '08!

Pets: 2 ragdoll cats and a grey cat who's fat and EVIL (but mostly fat). I also have a rat who likes cake and donuts (... my fault).

My Fan Fictions

Gruntish: (at Deviantart only). My first ever fan fiction! All about Covenant Grunts and their friends on a Covenant space ship. Lots of humour! Currently (15DEC07) has 9 large chapters. Continuing very soon!

The Orks of Tam'urt: This is my most recent story. It's an adventure/humour based on the Warhammer 40K Orks and a handful of Imperial Gaurdsmen. With well over 80,000 words typed (not all of which has been uploaded to Fan Fiction just yet - that many words takes alot of editing!) it is by far my longest story ever. Aiming to upload once at least every 2 weeks.

Immortal Kombat: BALETED!

Mortal Kombat Konquest: Ninjas N' Shit: Saved, to keep my Orks company (it kind of sucks but I can't bring myself to delete it... it's like having to put down an animal that's so ugly, it's just too cute).

Oddworld: Steefie's Charge: BALETED! (On DA as well, but likely to be deleted from there as well).

SD Gundam Force SS: BALETED! (On DA, left up for a couple of friends).

Transformers Teeny Boppers: BALETED! If you are one of the few people who I borrowed characters from, I can send you a copy if you want (but please don't repost it).
