Author has written 23 stories for Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Star Wars, She's the Man, Atomic Betty, Misc. Cartoons, Doctor Who, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Batman Begins/Dark Knight. Update as of end of 2008: I am about to embark on a serious tour of study. I am therefore relieving myself of all fanfic related duties. To friends, et all, I'll see you at the other end of the HSC. Or not. My stories remain, and (despite it all) may someday be updated (and-or finished). As much as I love a good read, I’ll have enough exams and homework to read, to make my eyes fall out. So yeah… Love, Lemondrop xxx P.S Sorry. I know how this feels when people die on you. Yeesh. Here I am again, rewriting this page. You know what they say - third time’s a charm, and all. I swear this profile will always be too long to read, too odd to understand and too damn hard to write. So me, right? That’s why you’re here it seems… Well, sorry to disappoint. I’m boring, nerdy and can’t write a decent profile. Anyway, I started reading fanfiction when my good friend, Louisa, henceforth known as Louie, said, “Dolly, shuddup. Look, stop crowing about the bleeding Sixth HP book, and read this.” To which I replied, “What? What’s this…?” And a monster was born… Louie has been later quoted saying, “I should never have mentioned it.” I quite agree. I’m Indian Australian - or Australian Indian? Can’t decide which. I go to the nerdiest (but in my opinion best) school in NSW. I am permanently attached to my phone/camera and love taking pictures (of others) and video-ing those ‘classic’ moments. Hence, my friends have their most embarrassing moments splashed across Youtube and the Net. Simply would blow up without books (all, any) and the first thing I’d do when my world-domination plan™ come to fruition, is build a super library with every book in the world at my disposal (stuff overdues). Likes dogs over cats and long walks on the beach… nah, just messing with you! I sound too much like a ‘Lonely Heart’ ad! Though being Aussie, I’d have to say our beaches are definitely cool. -glee- I’m one of those people who take an inordinate amount of care with their Favs, so I personally guarantee they’re all good. I obsessively check my hits on my profile page and I love people who read and ACTUALLY review. Which really brings me to this: I, Lemondrop xxx, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, its length, or anything else. I have joined the review revolution. Post this in your profile and join the revolution! (And check out The Reviews Lounge - the home of the revolution.) Can speak the odd bit of French and Latin, fluent in English and Hindi. Love to beta something (anything really), so give me a shout through a PM and I’ll see what I can do for you! -sigh- I love to leave long, constructive reviews, but more often than not, time is against me. So instead I do a good point, bad point thing. Or in some (read: most) cases, good point, OMG!FANGIRL!SQUEAL point. Chronic one-shot-er and cannot commit to a story if my life depended on it. Though I try. Am not particularly talented, cute or smart, but passably tolerable to be around. Or so I hope. Now, all I need is a quote that describes me ‘perfectly’. Yeah, I can see the rolling eyes already… …still. Suggestions? Likes: Tamora Pierce, Ten!Doctor (pause for Drool Watch), milk chocolate, Paris (and, yes - I’ve been there), Queen Elizabeth I, Obernewytn, Romana I (not so much II), Today FM, Sherlock Holmes, Edward Norton, Arty from Shrek the Third, She’s the Man, Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing), Zuko, ‘This is how a heart breaks’ (Rob Thomas), Michael Bublé, Snape and Hermione (but never together), yellow, DONNA! WHY?), Terry Goodkind, HOLIDAY COURSES!!, smokers, butter, the annoying Asian sub we have for English sometimes, dark chocolate, extremism, people who mispronounce my last name, green veggies, Jane Eyre (in English anyway), so-called thrillers, clocks that are fast/slow, the Mr Bean dance, bad books-turned-movies, heights, testy-pops (on purpose), bad jokes (like really bad), Katie Holmes, SC for Science (FOUR YEARS OF REVISON! Heaven for a history/choc buff, such as I. Low point in life: Me. On stage. First attempt at public speaking. Forgot: 1) palm cards, 2) all and any arguments. Then rushed off stage to hyperventilate. Currently hooked on: Nada really. I’m rather buried with the Big H. And SC is coming… duhduhdun -freaks-(But secretly I'm rolling in Marauder/First-War fics over here and at hpff. Love them guys!) Just read: Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradoxby Eoin Colfer (it’s pronounced Owen!). AND HE’S WRITING THE NEXT HITCHHIKERS! HOLY! I believe it’s known as And Another Thing… can’t wait!! (But you know- it would be nice to get the next Artemis Fowl book first. Because cliffhanger novels kill.) Just watched: The Duchess. Um… I’m glad I didn’t watch it with Mai? Because she would have totally died. Some very erm- adult scenes. Yeah. Not good for innocent mind. But on another note- I also watched Wall-e. SOOOOO cute. Welcome back good non-animal-Disney! Doodle… gripe? Bleh. I give up. (Have an Oreo for reading.) “Where is human nature so weak as in the bookstore?” Avatar/Image (c) ?? (No idea, sorry.)
