I'm back... sort of...

So I've been away for a while. I've had a lot of stuff going on, emotionally and medically. I hope to have a new story up soon. I've got a few ideas and maybe you wonderful people will enjoy them. I don't even deserve you guys. You've been so kind to me in the past and I hope I can prove myself worthy.

ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Kelly. I am of the midnight dawn wich basically means that I don't go to bed until 3:00am usually and I thought it sounded cool. These days I try to go to bed earlier because I'm trying to get my life in some sort of order.

I'm a 25 year old female with blue eyes and brown hair. I'm relatively strange but then again if everyone in the world were the same... well it would be boring wouldn't it?

I'm pretty self conscious about my weight and I don't feel comfortable admitting this but... I'm FAT! There I said it. I'm trying to lose weight but its not easy at all.

Hard Times- When I was nineteen, I was diagnosed with end stage kindey failure. I was on dialysis for about three months, during the holiday season and I was hospitalized for several weeks in from 10/24/03 to 10/31/03 and from 11/24/03 to 12/15/03 and received a transplant on 1/27/04 exactly one week after my 20th birthday. I was in the hospital for a week after my transplant. Since kidney's are one of the few orgins that can be given by live doners, my father gave me one of his kindeys.

Fans of SVU can understand why the season 8 episode "Choreographed" especially its final few lines, have a special place in my heart and to me are proof of the fact that Elliot and Olivia love each other. No one offers a piece of themselves freely to someone unless they love them.

I'm doing fine these days but I had to drop out of college and haven't had the energy to go back yet. I'm thinking about applying to Emerson for the fall semester of 2009. But for now, I'm happy just writing fanfiction for all of you wonderful people.

As far as fics go, I write mostly Law and Order: SVU stories but I also enjoy writing Stargate: Atlantis stories and will post some of them. I have dabbled in Star Trek Voyager fanfiction and would love to write a TNG story as well. I'm also trying my hand at writing some NCIS, SG1 and a few others. I'm also trying to write really awesome crossovers that combine the normal detective type characters of SVU, NCIS, JAG and Get Smart with my favorite Sci-Fi shows. Reviews are always welcome, though updates may sometimes be few and far between because life gets in the way.

My MEGA crossover posted in TV crossovers and entitled "Inexplicable Circumstances 1: The Beginning" is probably one of my personal favorites. It is by far the longest crossover I have ever been able to write and I've also stuck with it longer than any of my other crossovers. It hasn't got many reviews yet but I'm hoping that it will catch on eventually. If there's something you're passionate about, just keep doing it and hopefully others will get swept up in your passion and become passionate about it as well.

Current Works in Progress
Breaking Destiny's Bonds - This is going to be an epic. It's my second Star Wars story and my longest one by far. It's a Revenge of the Sith alternate ending that follows Anakin and his family as well as following Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and many other characters through the years. It will follow through the events of the original trilogy, altered of course, and beyond.
The Inexplicable Circumstances Series - My MEGA crossover series combining cop shows and sci-fi. I have finished the first story "Inexplicable Circumstances 1: The Beginning" and I'm currently working on the first chapter of the second story.
Crumbling Armor - My Post-"Undercover" SVU story that has really just gone way beyond what it started as. I plan to finish this one sometime before the end of SVU season 10.
This Isn't Happening - A Stargate: Atlantis story where Keller becomes pregnant with McKay's baby. I haven't quite worked all the kinks out of it yet but I do intend to add another chapter soon.
Tales of Bombs and Beloveds - An "Elliot and Olivia go undercover as husband and wife" story. But they go undercover for the FBI in Texas. One undercover agent has already been murdered. The two detectives fight to stay alive while trying to bring down a militia group bent on Governmental sabotage.
The Pazla Crisis Series - A Star Wars tale centering around a planet and a people of my own creation. This is one of my personal favorites.
"The Pazla Crisis 1: The Hidden Planet" - The first story in the series. The planet of Pazla, a peaceful world once known to the rest of the galaxy but having slipped into galactic anonymity, now faces a threat that demands that they venture into the galaxy once again for help. What kind of threat could be so dire? Why, a Sith Lord of course. And who will come to the aid of this possible New Republic ally? Why whom other than Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade.

The Race For Justice - My Speed Racer/Law and Order: SVU crossover. Speed and Trixie come to New York so that Speed can compete in a race but Trixie is attacked. Elliot and Olivia investigate and then all four of them found themselves in over their heads. They have to survive up against some of the most dangerous and devious villains in the world.
What It Means To Be A Family - A Speed Racer AU. How the Mach 6 could have come into being with many things that didn't happen. Some that should have happened and some that definitely shouldn't have. Family fun and family drama. Check it out!
Speed Racer: The Legend Lives - I've posted this one as a Speed Racer/Speed Racer: The Next Generation crossover. Post "The Note". Speed Jr. is kidnapped by Zazic in order to force Speed Sr. out into the open. Zile's intention is to rid the world once and for all of that annoying family bloodline known as Racer as well as anyone and everyone with knowledge of the Mach 6. Will he succeed? Read to find out!

My Latest Pet Peeves

The Get Smart Movie- The idea is apolling to me. It was a great TV show and Don Adams was unparalelled as Maxwell Smart. The fact that they chose Steve Carrel for this role seems like bad casting to me.

Not to mention the obsoliteness of one of the show's most iconic pieces of technology. The shoe phone was hilarious and awesome in it's day but now with cell phone's being so common, why would you need a phone in your shoe?

Poor Don Adams, a legend who can never be replaced not by Steve Carrel, not by anybody, is probably spinning in his grave right now, God rest his soul. If Steve Carrel wants to take over where Don Adams left off, maybe they should remake the old Inspector Gadget cartoons and have him do the voice of Gadget. Lets just make sure if we're gonna destroy something, we destroy it all the way.

There is just nothing about this movie that seems right to me. No one should go to see it. We have to send a message to the idiots who come up with these ideas that they can't just desicrate classic TV shows like this.

Internet Bullies- If you are someone who needs to pick on the other writers on this site to make yourself feel important then I truly feel sorry for you. People make mistakes, it’s what they do. No one is perfect and these internet bullies (I won’t mention any names but you know who you are) think that they are infallible.

This site should be a secure place for authors of all ages and skill levels to come and practice their craft. It’s a sad thing that these bullies are allowed to exist here but the truth is that they haven’t broken the rules of the site.

The only thing we, as members of this vast online community, can do is to not let them get to us. If you’ve been harassed by one of these internet bullies, do NOT respond. By getting mad and contacting them, you’re simply giving them what they want. And no matter what, keep writing.
