OBAMA!! After all that donating, and arguing, and supporting, we did it, yes we did! I am so proud of my country. We have come so far, but we need to realize that we have a long fight ahead of us. Obama can not solve all our problems for us. We have to be willing to work for our solutions.

The fight is not over. Election night was bittersweet. We've got a great next President, but we also have thousands of our brothers and sisters in California who just yesterday were married, and now its legality is questionable. Prop8 took the right away from citizens to marry...a right that was given to them prior. A right that was taken away because of hate and fear. I will fight as an ally for my fellow citizens whose basic right was striped away, and I will work to help in other states to gain that right.

Arkansas passed a measure to allow only those who are married to adopt children. There are so many things wrong with this and the only people who are going to get hurt are the children who will not get the opportunity to find a family. The world is changing and the face of a "family" is changing. Let's get with the program.

Please, if you are old enough to vote, register to do so! Pay attention to what's going on in our country and our government, do your own research, and make the decision to exercise your rights. Do not listen to what you hear on the news, you will never get the full story! You have the Internet, use it! Know where the nominees stand on issues that matter to you. Remember, if you don't vote, you don't have the right to complain :o)

Lately I've been on a huge Avatar wave. I was really feeling Xena:Warrior Princess, and then the show ended. I was also on the Outlaw Star kick, but the show doesn't last long.
