Author has written 46 stories for Harry Potter, Prince of Tennis, Yakitate! Japan, Digimon, and Kekkaishi. I'm normally not the type who gets upset over little things but somehow, this one little review left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I wasn't aware that I sounded desperate for any reviews or that I was wheedling for people to feel sorry for me and leave more comments. But if it did come across as that, then I apologize because I never intended to do so. But honestly, it's rather insulting to have someone say that I leave self-indulgent messages simply because I felt a little sad that the number of hits don't match the amount of reviews (and why should I be dictated on what I say in my author's notes, anyway? At least I do not go and threaten never to update if my review quota isn't filled!). Of course I know that I'm lucky people read what I write and of course I am very happy that they do. Did I ever say I wasn't? I'm very, very grateful to those who read and like my stories. They're one half of the reason why I write. And I really dislike the way this reviewer ended the comment, feeling confident that I'd be apprehensive instead of being offended. I don't mean to unload this here, or ever, actually, but it really rankled. Look out for new oneshots from me and hopefully my muse doesn't wither away. | |||||||
