Wow! Very interesting! Never thought of looking at a damaged Harry fic like this. I like this, and I really like Bill playing such a strong role. I miss him in fics! lol. I cant wait to see what else is coming, especially what powers pop up from his family lines. So exciting! Ok, on to bigger and better things:

The prophecy. Im going to take a chance and try and write this. If it sucks, I completely understand. Here goes-

...The one with the mark approaches...at the beginning of the eleventh year, the one with the power to unite magic will return...he will be bound and hidden, but with the help of those trusting, he will bring light back to the world...all will be well for millenia to come...the one with the mark approaches...

So, there's my attempt. I think it pretty much fits, but if I forgot something, let me know, and I could probably work it in. Also...I like the idea of him attending Hogwarts, just to spite Dumbledore. I like the idea of him there, putting on a show for Dumbledore, but really training in secret to be much more than Albus was ever going to allow. And as far as his friends...I mean, I figured the Weasley's but if Molly is tricking him too, then maybe just Ginny or the Twins could turn against her like Bill to become his friends? Or at least Neville! Yeah, Neville! He would make a great friend. If Ron doesnt turn out to be jealous and terrible, then of course he would always make a good friend too. But really, I like Neville. And just my opinion...No Slytherin. Its so overdone. I feel like he just belongs in Gryffindor. Family line and all. And no more voldemort in his head, so the slytherin ties would be gone.

Ok, I know that was really long, but I hoped it helped on ideas. If none of them sound good, then do whatever you feel is right, because you are doing a GREAT job so far! Keeping me very interested! Love it!

Oook, that is my shot at the prophecy (sp?)... and here is the explanation.

1 stanza - says that a child/someone new will come from an old family or organization (Harry and the Potter family) and show the way to a better future.

2 - he will fight like a goblin and use old magic of the green way (nature, druids and all that jazz), he will get rid of the laziness (tar) - old laws that nobody wants to review and update - and corruption (dirt).

3 - he will be young but strong and wise.

Of course you may change anything or interprete differently.

Hmm - attend Hogwarts or not. I like to see interaction with the canon friends and others, so if you go with not attend, I'd like to see ways to do that - eg involve at least three others in the tutoring.

If he goes to Hogwarts you've got huge problems with Dumbledore (and possibly Moody) having easy interference/kidnapping etc. I don't think the goblins would have any access to Hogwarts for protecting Harry.

And how's this for a prophecy (Give it a prophet's name and date)

Prophecy of ... made under ruler of the clans ...in the season of ... : English translation by ... circa 1920 A.D.

Hear you people of the clans and hear you all peoples of the magic realms

Hear you dispossessed and scattered, threatened with annihilation,

You sundered from ancient homes and allies.

This oh hearers will open the door and reveal the path to recovery and balance in a millennium of peace and prosperity; but find him not or aid him not or seek not union of all magic folk and the door will close, the path collapse and the balance will be crushed in a millenium of darkness and fear.

A bit long I think but maybe you could use bits or draw some inspiration.

The Son of Grudak is Born upon the Eve of Lughnassagh

He shall be Raised in Adversity by Kin of his Kin,

He shall Kin of the Stone-dweller's People,

And shall Bring all Magyk to Peace for an Age.

By the way, Lughnassagh is a Pagan holiday that is held on July 31st. It celebrates the begining of the Harvest, as Samhain, or Halloween, celebrates the end of the Harvest, and the friends and family who have died over the year. Also, Magyk is an older spelling of Magic, and is connected more with the spiritual forms of the practice.
