I don't update here much these days. I like writing, and reading what other people have written, but I have a bad habit of lurking.

I also really appreciate constructive criticism because even though this is just a hobby for me, I still want to improve.

Glimmer of Hope and Angel Feather are older stories from when I was beginning to write, kept mostly for nostalgia on my part, and to let others have a laugh at my awfulness back then.

Personal info: I am currently a student at a film school which takes up a lot of my time, but I've been a bit of a film geek, so it's fun. I like swimming and biking, making AMVs, and of course reading and writing. My favourite movies include Big Fish, Finding Nemo, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Treasure Planet. My greatest fear is the zombie apocalypse, and the end of creativity (which sort of go hand-in-hand, when you think about it). I have a very diverse taste of music, so while writing I'll listen to anything ranging from Nightwish to Regina Spektor to Snow Patrol, from Loreena McKennit to Florence and the Machine. If it sounds good and inspires me, it's something I listen to.

Terry Pratchett and Markus Zusack are my writing gods. I only wish I could someday write humour and life as effortlessly as they make it seem.

My fandom obsessions are 9, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, How to Train Your Dragon, Kingdom Hearts, and Inception. I'll read fan fiction for practically anything, but those are the series I tend to hang out in much more often.

I much prefer posting to LiveJournal, so if you ever think there are formatting issues on my stories here, or also prefer reading things from LJ, look me up. I always love meeting new people!

Don't be surprised if I favourite something and don't review it until a year later. I am a slow reviewer, but feel a favourite will at least let the author know I read and loved their story.

Also, I don't warn for slash. If you see me warn for heterosexual pairings, it's because I'm trying to point out the stupidity of warning for a relationship. It's 2011, people, stop being close-minded.
