I decided to update my profile to make it more in line with what I usually see around authors. To that end, I'm going to describe my writing inclinations in greater detail.

I like Ranma 1/2, because it was the first manga I have ever read, plus it sparked my interest in anime and manga. So it is kinda obvious why I mostly write Ranma stories. Ranma Saotome is my favorite character because the guy is so damn funny.

But if you read my stories, you'll see that I have a character name Ranma Yatoihei Chaos (Formally Ranma Dasanteki Chaos, but was changed/corrected due to some... translations issues). You see after 8 years of me liking our young Martial Artist. I began making up plot lines and other stuff like that, but alot of them were never written. Also it should be noted that for some reason I have an extreme love for violence and weapons. So one day I decided to mix my two favorite items and out I got an Good Ranma, that is extremely cruel.

I had the name, so I started making a background and because of that, we have a war harden Ranma with more social/mental problems then he lets on. Oh and also the whole entire 'Ranma's a genuis thing', that came out from a fluke.

I'm more incline to harem pairings for our pigtailed martial artist...well because I feel like he deserves it. I mean years of abuse by Genma, more years of abuse from Akane, a mother who tried to kill him, and friends that try to kill him at least 97 percent of the time. And the guy is still good to everybody, and takes it all in stride...

the other characters are all okay I guess, but I don't like Akane too much. I mean I liked her at the begining, but after seeing her from many authors' persectives, I change my opinion.

For some reason, I love war...I don't know why...must be a Asian guy thing...?

Author's Rant...

I started writing back in 2004, though I didn't really post anything until 2005. However, when I first started out, I was a horrible writer, bad grammar, bad spelling, basically bad in everything. You see back in 2003, the way I see it, I was going to go down two different paths that were opened to me, an artist or a writer. Meaning that in a hypothetical situation or time, in 2009, you might see me more on Deviant Art then on Fanfiction. net.

However, at the time, I had limited supplies on hand, limited paper, barely any drawing utensils, and a very poor grasp of drawing certain shapes and figures. Because of this, I turned to reading, and let me tell you, I read a freakin' lot. It was something I could do anywhere, easily, and people wouldn't bother me and keep asking what I was doing. As I continued reading, I decided I wanted to become a part time author, so for practice, I turned to fanfiction.

It was truly a humbling experience...

Through it, my writing has improved tremendously, and I begin meeting all my favorite authors over the web. I started with Ranma 1/2 fanfiction, because it was pretty hot back in the early 2000's. However, now that we are in 2009, the most popular world to explore in fanfiction is Naruto. Anyway, back to the point at hand. When I started out, I gave Ranma a bunch of powers for no reason and worked with a very small concept and plot.

After I posted it, and started getting reviews and responses. I scrapped the plot and the idea after two weeks. And begin anew, working from my shaky foundation and start, and hopefully building something better. I decided to keep the main character I had, Ranma Chaos, and begin working with it.

Now this is the part I'm going to get to that will my writing technique and style, and why I decided to do what I do.

If there is one thing I'm truly sick of, it's the Coming of Age genre that everyone is so used to and loves. If you don't know what the Coming of Age genre is, it is basically this in the simplest of concepts. A character starts off normally, and we the readers, will follow that character as he makes choices and decisions that affect everything around him. We see the characters, growth, maturity, development of personality overtime, and step by step. We watch as their trials, obstacles, and problems shape who they are.

After reading 200 or so books with the same damn genre over and over, I got sick and bored of it all together. It was too predictable after awhile, and it grew boring and unreadable. That's where I started with a less known genre, but it's quite deep in it's own ways.

The genre I used for all my stories and plots, though I'm not sure if there's an actual name for it, I'm gonna call it History's Effect.

In this genre, instead of starting with the character and following him for a majority of his life and watching him grow. We instead have a character who's already fully developed, already has a background, and is fully equipped with an personality weathered by experience and time.

The readers follow this character and watches his actions and thoughts. And through this we explore the character's past and discovers what makes him tick. Why does he make certain decisions, why does he think this way, and why is he who he is.

I find this more interesting, and a lot more inspiring to read. The readers read and instead of wondering what's he going to do next, they wonder, why does he do it?

Hence, the creation of the Fight For Life series and everyone's beloved character Ranma Chaos.

A psychotic, alcoholic, no morals or ethics man who's seen too much. But what the heck, let's see more! It'll mess him up, but that's life, it moves forward.

Summaries and Notes on Fiction:

Fight for Life: Gangster Days - 3 Years after Ranma left Nerima, he became a soldier. But shortly after his temporary retire from the military. Ranma visits an old friend of his in Stillwater, USA. Unfortunately for him, he gets roped into the gang war that involves the whole entire city. How will Ranma deal with this unfortunate situation. Or better yet, how will they deal with him. (I've been writing this story for a while. Yet I keep having to re-write the entire thing to match up with my other projects. So far this is only a side project.)

Fight for Life: Rise of the Forsaken - Naruto Uzumaki trains so that he can defeat his enemies and save his love ones. However, he meets someone who makes him question who he is and what he fights for. He meets the Legendary Soldier from another world. (My second major project right behind Chaos Style. Due to the fact that this story contains more Naruto then Ranma. 55 percent Naruto/45 percent Ranma I'll have to put this in the Naruto section. I always wanted to see what would happen if my Ranma met up with Naruto. However I have to keep rewriting the story due to the ever plot changing canon.)

Grand Theft Auto: Ranma Style - At the age of 7, Genma sold Ranma as child soldier for money, the problem is, he never was able to steal him back. 19 years later... Ranma has been through many hardships in his life...Genma is dead...he made sure of that. Hm? What's this? A letter from his foster cousin Roman Bellic? “Come to Liberty City cousin, where opportunities await!” (Story Pending)

Fight for Life: Hell is named Pokegirl - Ranma Chaos, the soldier, is accidently transported to the Pokegirl Universe. Now watch as he kills, murders, slaughters anyone who gets in his way. May god have mercy on them! (A story I wanted to try out. However, due to its popularity, I'll have to make it more then a 4 chapter oneshot.)

Fight for Life: Chaos Style.- The last 8 years have not been kind to Ranma. Yet not one to mope, he moves forward without a doubt in his mind as he explores the world. Only this time, people are finally noticing his progress and motives and not all of them have Ranma's health in mind. (This is my primary project and the story that started it all. At first it was fic that I wanted to try out since I was a amateur writer. Now since I have a bit more experience and the popularity of this story has ascended, I made this part of a super trilogy...or chronicle...?)

Enforcer: Lieutenant Commander Ranma - Ranma after leaving Nerima 7 years ago. Joins a Military police to protect the world from dangers and threats, with him are the most skilled people in the world with one of a kind specialties...too bad they're all psyshos and have no respect for life. (A deviation of Black Dragons popular Guardian. This is just a humorous story with random acts of violence and a semi sensible plot. The more people like it, the more the senseless violence comes.)

Fight for Life: Suikoden Style - Ranma Chaos is thrown into Suikoden Universe, where he accidentally became the Prince of Falena. How will he deal with a life of Royalty he doesn't want? Probably through senseless violence. (Another side project I wanted to try out after my main fics are done.)

Fight for Life: Sidestory: F.E.A.R. - After WWIII, Ranma Chaos signs up with an Elite Military Group in the states that deals with the paranormal. His first job: taking down a man with an battalion of soldiers...along with a creepy little girl. (This is a side story I wanted to write on how Alma and Ranma first met.)

Fight for Life: The Original Spartan - During the 26th century, the Spartan II project was created to produce elite soldiers. However, the true reason for the project was to replicate a soldier known as Ranma Chaos. What else? Ranma is transported to that universe. Let the Covenant feel fear. (This is one of the War arcs of the Fight for Life series that I'm trying out along with Extinction. And yes this story will span through all three games and books.)

Fight for Life: Extinction - Ranma Chaos, was transported onto the planet of Sera. A Colony in the far future that has suffered from the 79 year Pendulum Wars. Now they face a new threat: the Locust. Watch as Ranma fight against the Locust Horde that threatens the Human survivors. (Another one of the stories in the War arcs of Fight for Life. More of a filler then anything else, but still quite popular.)
