Okay, here goes.

We seem to start ever introduction with looks of confusion, as if we're pulling someone's leg. No, we're really twins. Indentical, though I grew my hair out because it's really, really annoying to be called Mike forty times a day. Frankly, we were amazed everyone else wasn't (twins. Keep up), it is so the only way to go through life. For future reference, I'm Pete. I do most of the actual writing only because I'm a faster typer. I'm also younger (I never understood why that made any difference. We're three freakin' minutes apart, but for some reason everyone always has to know.) Mike's the older, less handsome one who comes up with a good few of these hair-brained ideas, not all of which are quite appropriate for what we're trying to pull off.

So what are we trying to pull off? (Sorry 'bout the plurals, btw. It can be kind of annoying sometimes, but it's a habit we're trying to break. Just deal for the moment). Basically, we're going to write no matter what you do. One of the worst things (to us) are the people who say they'll only update if this many people review. That's not our MO. We update as often as we can, no matter who reviews (please, please review. Just throwing that out there. We eat them like cookies). The whole point is to get the writing out there, because we think we have a few stories that need to be told.

Okay, so that's the basic gist of what we're here for. Onto the specific, less interesting part.

Religion: Overwhelmingly Catholic. This probably won't show up in our stories too much. We try not to be preachy. Truth: We believe in God and Jesus, the Old and New Testiment, mostly because they're awesome. Just so you know, Peter means rock (as in St. Peter, the rock that Jesus built his church on). Michael has a couple of meanings, the one he likes the best is "Gift of God" or "Godsend". St. Michael is an archangel. He occasionally lets this get to his head.

Profession: Fifteen-year-old high-school students. The two major components of this life are Band and drama. Marching band is the sport that can never be, yet it is definetly one of the most fulfilling experiences of our lives. I am so blessed to have met these people that in two years have become my extended family. As for theater, we were raised in one. It runs in our blood, though neither of us have any sort of talent for acting. Or singing. Or dancing. Anyway, musicals rock, one-Acts (One Act Madness!) roll, and straight plays are alright too. In our writing, it's mostly the musicals.

As for passions, reading is the best pasttime out there. The writen word is the ultimate creation of mankind. Unfortunately, this sentament is not shared by too many high-schoolers (obviously the ones reading this are the exceptions). It seems as if books and scripts and good writing is dying out. Luckily the greats have left something of themselves for us to thrive on.

Writing can only take second to reading. It's an addiction, a natural high that you get when you realize you no longer have any control over the story you're writing. Ever go back to a chapter and kind of smile as you read it, because you have no recolection of writing those exact words? We live for that.

The favorites part is pretty long, and this is the part where one becomes two. I am a soft-core Trekkie and a hard-core Lord of the Rings fan, while Mike's the other way around. For the most part though, books are pretty much lined up like this: LotR, Harry Potter, The Once and Future King, Narnia, anything by Austen/Bronte, the Divine Comedy, Eragon...we could sit here all day. The list goes on forever.

For anyone who's in a pre-Summer kind of funk, where you just want to go outside but the freakin' rain is messing you up, we've found a new obsession. Her name is Jodi Picoult. If you're ever at a library or Borders or whatever bookstore you have around, check out some of her novels. There's around fifteen, and they're about the tough topics -- cancer, suicide, Indian Burial Grounds (which are just so cool!). Anyways, we totally recommend her books, which make you remember exactly why you love to read.

Movies are important too, and we do watch a lot (some would say too many) of them. Star Wars is at the top of that list, followed closely by the LotR movies, National Treasure, traveling down to the classics of It's a Wonderful Life and The Godfather, When Harry Met Sally (mum left an impression). As for television, first would be Friends, then House, Criminal Minds, MASH, Boy Meets World, assorted doctor/crime shows, Mythbusters, X-Files, Top Chef and Project Runway...

NEW Public Service Announcement: So, we're kind of stuck. Before, inspiration just hit us, and now we're nearing the end of two stories and...nothing. So any suggestions? There's, like, twenty or so categories listed at the top. We'll write anything for any of those. If we get no suggestions..who knows? Maybe we'll dust off some old fics, finish a few that never quite got done. But please, any plot bunnies, any at all, are totally welcome.

Oh, in case you wanted to know, our favorite characters in all of fiction are the Weasley twins. Who else?

"I didn't fail, I found two thousand ways how not to make a lightbulb."- Thomas Edison

"Oh my god, it's attacking the Enterprise!"-Joey in Friends

"It's a moo point. You know, like a cow's opinion. It doesn't matter. It's moo." Joey on Friends

"I think me and Fred should have gotten an "E" in everything because we exceeded expectations just by turning up for the exams!" -George Weasley, Order of the Pheonix

"Dear Mr. Johnson, We Accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday for whatever it was we did wrong, but we think you're crazy for making us write an essay telling you who we think we are. What do you care? You see us as you want to see us, in the simplist terms, the most convenient definitions, but what we found out is that everyone's a brain, and an athelete, and a basketcase, a princess, and a criminal. Does that answer your question? Sincerely, the Breakfast Club

"We have these digs at each other. Viggo will go on about Elves and how they're always doing their nails and brushing their long, blonde hair, and being all prissy. And I just say: Well, at least I'm going to live forever! Got that? LIVE FOREVER!" - Orlando Bloom

"I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the Great Stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. They meant something, even if you were too young to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had a lot of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going, because they were holding on to something."

"What are we holding onto Sam?"

"That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo. And it's worth fighting for." -Sam Gamgee, The Lord of the Rings

"You're Cory, I'm Shawn, what else do you need to know?" -Shawn, Boy Meets World

"Master Obi-Wan seems to have lost a planet. How embarassing." Yoda

“Life's like a movie, write your own ending." - The Muppets

Han Solo: Uh, everything's under control. Situation normal.
Voice: What happened?
Han Solo: Uh, we had a slight weapons malfunction, but uh... everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
Voice: We're sending a squad up.
Han Solo: Uh, uh, negative. We had a reactor leak here now. Give us a minute to lock it down. Large leak, very dangerous.
Voice: Who is this? What's your operating number?
Han Solo: Uh...
shoots comm
Han Solo: Boring conversation anyway. New Hope

"Sometime's its easier just to blow stuff up." Mythbusters

And where there's youth, there's hope, where there's hope, there's wonder, where there's wonder, there's faith, where there's faith, there's chance, where there's chance, there's love, where there's love, there's music. And dancing.

There are too many people too angry at a world that isn't the least bit angry at them.

"Life sucks then you die." Mike, my brother, who probably got it from House

And the one that basically sums up our life:

Things are getting worse. Please send chocolate.
