I have been reading and writing fanfiction since I accidentally discovered it in a yahoo search in 2001. I primarily write slash and angst and my work tends to be darker, but I have been known to dabble into other things

My first major obsession was Lord of the Rings, but while I still love it dearly (and I'm always up for the occasional 12 hour LOTR movie marathon), I have moved on.

About me:

There's not too much to say. I am a huge baseball fan and sometimes I think that is the only thing I have in common with my father. I love anime and I have gone to Anime North the last four years in a row. If I can make it next year, I am always willing to meet new people and anyone else out there who also attends. Ouran High School Host club is my favorite anime of all time because you can't help, but love every single character.

I'm not much of a music fan, I usually listen to a little bit of everything from classical, to blues and jazz, to classic rock and 80's hair band music to modern hip hop and r&b and punk and indie and even some pop. I like what I like and it does not fit into one genre. Though, I have to tell you I was horrified when the guy I was dating didn't know who CCR or Cat Stevens or the Hollies were.

I am a huge fan of movies and I own way too many to count. My favorite movies of all time include: Stand By Me, the Goonies, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Stark Trek (old and new), Indiana Jones, etc. I could rant for hours about my favorite movies.

My favorite food is chocolate chip cookies, my favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, and my favorite song of all time is a tie between O Fortuna by Carl Orff and Palladio by Karl Jenkins. I love camping, hiking and writing and I'm generally a friendly person. Though I am often painfully shy and socially awkward.

Sometimes, I wish I was normal. Sometimes I wish I could lead a normal life, find myself a man to marry, settle down, have kids, work a 9-5 job and live in the suburbs with a white picket fence and two dogs. Other days I wonder why I ever wanted to be normal in the first place. I hate kids, I never want to settle down, and I want to spend the rest of my life traveling, making a difference, and never stay in one job long enough to get comfortable. I don't need a man to make me happy. I want to start my own non profit organization because I'm tired of watching the world destroy itself, of listening to everyone argue over whether or not global warming exists and then having nothing done about it. I don't want to be normal, I want to lead an organization into helping people affected by global warming and start bringing an end to it by embracing green technology. I want to save the world.

Some days I think I have it figured out exactly what I want to do with my life, and other days, I know I haven't figured it out at all. I chose my major in college randomly because I didn't know what else to do, I didn't know, still don't know, what I want to do with my life. I haven't found any answers at all.

Sometimes I feel like I should have my life more organized, that I should live by any rules and a detailed plan of how my future should lay out. Other times, I feel like I should go wherever the wind blows, where ever it leads me to next, like Vianne from Chocolat.

Some days, I know who I am. And others, I just want to find out who I really am, not what others have left imprinted on me.

Sometimes, I'm so dependent on others for everything, I'm incompetent, useless, just a child still. Other days, I depend on no one, but myself to get me through.

But everyday, I watch the world burn wishing I was doing something to put out the fire. And everyday, I think I've gone crazy.

UPDATE TONIGHT! -Not that anyone actually reads these things, but if you are curious, there will be an update for Bad Romance, tonight (9/15/2010). After that I intend to write a new story, and then I will update Wishful Thinking, hopefully by this Saturday. Sorry for the delay, life sort of slapped me in the face, and I have had to organize a lot of chaos. But I'm back!

The Way We Are and Disaster Follows

I honestly don't know where these stories came from, they are not typical for me, but once I started writing I couldn't stop. And everybody in the BTR fandom here has been super nice and I've gotten some really great reviews, so for those who were inquiring I do intend on continuing writing fanfiction for BTR.

Future Works:

I have quite a few ideas rolling around for new stories. Out of all the ideas I have right now, about half are dark and angsty, and the other half are fun and humorous. I have not decided which idea I want to start on next, though. I can tell you that James is my favorite Big Time Rush character, so most of my future works will probably focus on him.

I am sorry to those who were reading this story, I know I have not updated in a really long time. I have the second chapter written, but I'm not sure whether or not I want to continue the story. I will try to finish, but it will take some time before anyone will see an update on this story.

Poison Tree

My take on Ozai's insanity. After Ursa departs, Ozai goes crazy because he needs Ursa. In his insanity, he uses Zuko as a replacement, but somewhere along the destructive path he starts to fall in love with Zuko. It's very sick and twisted and angsty and deals again with child abuse and incest. So please beware before reading that story.

Perfectly Terrible (Kakashi/Iruka)

My first attempt at humor. There are soooooo many stories out there where everyone is threatening Kakashi not to hurt poor fragile Iruka and break his vulnerable heart (note the sarcasm) and I was getting sick of it, so I wrote a story in which Kakashi's friends, and students, threaten Iruka not to hurt Kakashi.

So that's me my stories in a nutshell and now I'll shut up and let you enjoy.
