Author has written 11 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender.

Nov 16th: Okay, so my university's grad students are officially on strike and while this means free time out of classes, it also means independent study and my arch foe, personal discipline. I've started scrawling a new story but I have no idea if I'm going to go anywhere with it and I say to myself, "why aren't you scrawling stuff for your existing stories?" to which I have no answer.

Oct 9th: Midterms approach. No writing, no sleep, no fun.

With the Avatar fandom going their separate ways, I want some good recommendations for FullMetal Alchemist, Death Note, and Twilight fics or authors. Please email me, link me, or write me one on the spot. I know they're out there... ZaKai, thanks so much for the all the suggestions with FMA!

Important: Authors LOVE reviews. Once you read a story/chapter, PLEASE review it. It doesn't even have to be a complete sentence. Authors appreciate any input. P.S. Don't you often judge whether or not to read a story by how many reviews it has? (more reviews means more attention-worthy to us, right?)

To quell any more requests for a sequel: Into the Inferno is done. It was the sequel to Hellfire so for those inquiring, there will not be a sequel to the sequel. I worked on it during my entire senior year of high school. The full nine months. My friends had fun reading the scraps I scribbled new stuff on and commenting on the sexy. I worked on it in the spare hours of class or when I didn't want to pay attention. I printed tons of drafts (killed lots of trees) and marked over all of them. At first I planned to post it all at once, but my friends said it was better broken up because that's how they were reading it as I progressed. I'm glad I waited because I revised the earlier parts so much as I continued and finally, in May I had the concluding scene drafted and started to break the story up into chapters. If you want quality from me, it takes a very long time. I'm glad you've enjoyed it all so much, but realize with how long this took me to write, the entire story was brought to your attention, posted, and concluded in a mere three months for you. I will continue to write, but this venture into Zutara was a gift fic that took on a life of its own and it's not to be expected regularly.

Lovely humor from The Night Thoreau Spent In Jail:

John: When I asked her to marry me, there was a pregnant pause. Well, not pregnant, but a pause.

Henry: Then what?

John: Then she said, "Why doesn't Henry ask me?" And I said, "If he does, will you say yes?" And she said, "No, but why doesn't he ask me anyhow?"

Henry: It's an outrage! She wants to wear both of our scalps on her petticoat strings!

John: She won't marry you, and she won't marry me. But I think she'd marry us in a minute.

Henry: That's carrying Unitarianism too far!

Quotes

I'm not copying. I'm merely comparing your answers with the answers I'm about to write. -Drake, from Drake and Josh

Hello. Edward's not here anymore, please leave your message at the BITE. -Darkward's Dungeon blog

Ray: Why don't you go hold hands? Debra: Yeah, over each other's mouths. -from Everybody Loves Raymond

No I'm a positive person. You're like Santa Claus on prozac, at Disney Land, getting laid. -Phoebe, from Friends, episode "The One in Massapequa"

Hey Buddy, wanna go pick some snowberries? -Artic Puffin from Elf

Zim: I put the fires out. Tall One: You made them worse. Zim: Worse? Or better? -from Invader Zim, episode 1

I don't wanna say that kiss was cold, but if you opened your mouth, a light would come on. -Raymond from Everybody Loves Raymond

Tina Fey: It has been said that "to write is to live forever." Steve Martin: The man who wrote that... is dead. -The Oscars

I would never leave you for dead; you would never escape. I would make sure you were dead and then I would remove your teeth and cut off your fingertips so you could not be identified, and they would call me "The Overkill Killer." -Dwight, from The Office, episode "Survivor Man"

Alice: And how many hours a day did you do lessons? Turtle: 10 the first day, 9 the next, and so on. Alice: What a curious plan! Griffin: That's the reason they're called lessons, because they lessen from day to day. -from Alice in Wonderland

I keep various weaponry strategically placed around the office... People say, "Oh, it's dangerous to keep weapons in the home or the work place." I say, "It's better to be hurt by a person you know accidentally, than by a stranger on purpose." -Dwight, from The Office, episode "Survivor Man"

Well what if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today! -Phil Conners from Groundhog Day

I'm always thinking one step ahead. Like a carpenter who makes stairs. - Andy, from The Office, episode "The Merger"

I am peeking out of my closet to put forth that I am a bit too into Twilight. I have this playlist called "The Progression" for code purposes, but it's about the progression of Edward and Bella's relationship in the books, and it's getting too epic to keep to myself. However, it is also incomplete. The only part I'm fully satisfied with is the Twilight part; New Moon I still don't have quite right in places. Some songs coincide with S. Meyer's playlist, but here's my own Twilight playlist for you guys to peruse:

"Why Does It Always Rain on Me" by Travis - Moving to Forks (Alternate is "Small Town" by Eve 6)

"Apple Pie a la Mode" by Destiny's Child - First sight of Edward

"I've Just Seen a Face" by The Beatles - (E) Edward's first consideration of Bella

"Eyes on Fire" by Blue Foundation - The first biology class; if looks could kill.

"Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace - (E) the bloodlust

"Beauty and the Beast" by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson - Okay this is nothing about being fairytale. This is their first conversation and how they work past that very tense first day.

"Over My Head (Cable Car)" by The Fray - The car accident

"Dirty Little Secret" by The All-American Rejects - Lying about the circumstances of being saved and Edward keeping her from the truth.

"You Don't See Me" by Josie and the Pussycats - Edward ignores Bella.

"Dream of Me" from Get Over It - Bella dreams of Edward. (I actually hate this song, but it works too well. Alternate is "I Go To Sleep" by The Pretenders)

"Fascination" by Kem - (E) Edward watches Bella sleep.

"Sadie Hawkins Dance" by Relient k - Bella beats boys off with a stick. (Alternate is "That Don't Impress Me Much" by Shania Twain)

"Simple" by Katy Perry - Edward seesaws with the concept of friendship.

"Disease" by Matchbox Twenty - (E) "If you're smart, you'll avoid me."

"Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down - Theories.

"Claire De Lune" by Debussy - the car ride soundtrack

"This is For Keeps" by The Spill Canvas - (E) this is completely a Midnight Sun scene, when Edward ponders loving Bella as a man to a woman; but I love it more because it is almost the perfect theme song to the whole Twilight saga.

"Vampire in my Town" by Elsinore - Jacob tells Bella about the Cold Ones.

"Far Away" by Nickelback - Bella misses Edward and decides it doesn't matter that he's a vampire.

"Lost" by VAST - Bella's detour in Port Angeles

"Disturbia" by Rihanna - (E) Saving Bella and struggling to keep his temper.

"MakeDamnSure" by Taking Back Sunday - (E) Not letting Bella out of his sight.

"Sticking With You" by Addison Road - Bella's theory is confirmed and she's not going anywhere.

"Umbrella" by Rihanna featuring Jay-Z - No relevant lyrics persay but it feels fitting when Edward wants to drive Bella to school.

"Spotlight" by Mute Math - Bella handles being associated with Edward at school.

"The Title" by Ciara - Bella doesn't mind pretending to date Edward. (Alternate is "I Won't Say (I'm in Love)" from Disney's Hercules)

"Danger! High Voltage" by Electric Six - the movie in biology

"You Make Me Smile" by Blue October - (E) Edward indulges in briefly touching Bella. "I'm drinking what used to be sin and touching the edge of her skin" (Alternate is "I Want to Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles)

"Something Wonderful" by B.D.A. - general love song stuff (Alternate is "Hold My Hand" by New Found Glory or "1, 2, 3, 4" by The Plain White T's from Ed's PoV)

"I Wanna Know" by Joe - (E) Interrogating Bella

"You Drive Me Crazy" by Britney Spears - I couldn't resist putting this in for Bella being twitchy and restless for her upcoming date with Edward.

"Part of Your World (reprise)" from Disney's The Little Mermaid - Edward in the sun.

"Am I Feeling Love?" from Arabian Knight (musical) or The Thief and the Cobbler (movie) - Bella is afraid of the gravity of her feelings.

"Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful" from R&H's Cinderella - Declaring themselves

"Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer - "I just want to try one thing" (yeah I used the movie version of the quote)

"The Ocean" by Mae - Edward stays the night.

"Can You Read My Mind" by Brian McKnight - (E) I know the title kind of mocks him, but this goes with the quote "I may not be human, but I am a man."

"Sunday Morning" by K-OS - waking up to Edward (sigh)

"Monsters" by Matchbook Romance - meeting the rest of the Cullens. (This is the one part I can't fit music to. Alternate is "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich" by Lady Gaga which doesn't really work either.)

"River Flows in You" by Yiruma - the better version of Bella's lullaby; Edward plays for Bella.

"I Don't Dance" from High School Musical 2 - it is a strangely fitting song for vampire baseball

"Dance with the Devil" by Breaking Benjamin - James

"Pretty Girl (The Way)" by Sugarcult - Bella worries about everyone but herself.

"Make a Move" by Incubus - James' plan to get Bella or Bella's plan to escape watchful Alice and Jasper

"Savin' Me" by Nickelback - Bella vs James

"Thank You for the Venom" by My Chemical Romance - this goes in just for its title but some versus are relevant. "Black is the kiss, the touch of the serpent son, it ain't the mark or the scar that makes you one..."

"Gifts and Curses" by Yellowcard - (E) Edward vs James

"Blood" by My Chemical Romance - "Grab a glass" Edward

"Time of Dying" by Three Days Grace - Bella will live

"Things Left Unsaid" by Disciple - (E) What I think Edward's thoughts were before Bella woke up in the hospital

"Lullaby (Goodnight My Angel)" by Billy Joel - (E) setting the story straight and putting Bella's fears to rest

"Come What May" from Moulin Rouge - "As long as it makes you happy, I'll be here." "You're talking about forever, you know."

"Flightless Bird, American Mouth" by Iron and Wine - cause that scene in the movie is too beautiful to ignore

"Ever, Ever After" by Carrie Underwood - I think it's a good overall song about how love can find someone as "ordinary" as Bella.

Tell me your own playlist. I love checking out new music!
