Jeez well here is my first story.

Naruto Rant:

What gets my goat is the fact Jounin sensei's only real job is to get their Genin experience with the ninja life and work on their teamwork. It is up to the Jounin discretion on what they teach. The tree walking exercise is a basic chakra control exercise and something team seven could have learned on their own. The only reason Kakashi taught it to them was because of the situation. This doesn't mean he is a terrible teacher because he was working on their team work and would have taught them it when they were ready. But then the mission in wave happened and do to how well they performed he decided to enter them in the chunin exam even though most Jounins wait a whole year or two to enroll their team. By this argument then that means these exercises are taught within the later part of the first year when the team have jelled as a team. Another fact is just like Sarutobi's favored student was Orochimaru all Jounin have a favored student that they will teach more stuff to or work harder on. This doesn't mean they work less on the others.

Kakashi taught the chidori to sasuke because Sasuke would have been killed by Gaara otherwise. Also with Sasuke pride he would have refused to forfeit his match with Gaara, not to mention the curse seal. He was also trying to show Sasuke he could get stronger in the leaf village. Honestly Kakashi picked the right teacher from his available choices for Naruto because he really did need alot of help with his chakra control. He was setting naruto up to be a better ninja win or lose. His main goal during the Chunin exams was keeping Sasuke alive and loyal and unless Naruto was also suffering from a curse seal he couldn't in good conscience just toss aside Sasuke because Naruto was his Sensei's son. He had a debt to the Uchiha caln though Obito and the fact that he saw himself in Sasuke and was trying to make it where he wouldn't make his mistakes. Bluntly even in other peoples minds the curse seal situation was more important than Naruto throwing a hissy fit about Kakashi not training him. But could you blame Naruto , No you couldn't because he had very little pieces of the puzzle. So he couldn't really understand the seriousness of it.

I honestly don't see people coming down on Jiraiya's blatant favoritism with the fourth hokage, or Gai's with Lee, or even Sarutobi's with Orichimaru. So why on Kakashi when his only job is to acclimate them to the ninja life and team work. Not hand them a bunch of Jutsu and say good luck on Kicking @. Most Genin have to learn jutsu on their own and when they do learn from their sensei they usually have to ask for it and the sensei's have to test them to see if they can learn it. It would not have been fair if Kakashi tried to train all three of his students for the chunin exam finals. And finally he didn't set Sakura up for training because a. she wasn't in the finals and b. she didn't ask him like Naruto had.

I know this maybe offensive and I do apologize but here it is. Why aren't more fanfiction stories labeled with there designations, more specifically whether they are heterosexual, slash, or femslash, pretty much all the stories I write will be nearly completely heterosexual and if must I will include either light slash or femslash if the character I write about is canonly gay. Like Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the reason for this rant is that I came across a writer bitching about how people were pissed that his story was a slash story, me if I find a story I like and it switches to a sexual preference or act I am uncomfortable with then I drop the story even if it is a very good story, I don't care if I see two men kissing or even minorly making out but if they start having sex in a public or semi-public area I will leave that area, that's it. I can take brief hits of light slash or innuendo like in "Upon a Fiery Steed" which is a good story and one that made me only slightly incredulous. What gets my goat is reading a fic and then halfway through the author suddenly declares it Slash, and I don't mean the first chapter but maybe 5 to 15 chapters in, another thing is the thing where people take someone with a clearly defined sexual preference and just go with their interpretation without even saying its AU or something. Not cool man, really not cool.

If you have to at least claim AU, its like how Naruto is clearly straight in canon and the kiss between him and Sasuke is used as proof they have man crushes on each other, you can use this in AU or something but in Canon Naruto and Sasuke acted like they were poisoned and neither were blushing over it but obviously sickened, hard to argue the man crush is canon with all the evidence against it in the manga and the anime. The whole Haku thing was let's face it even I couldn't believe he was a man and only found out he was like sixteen from the Naruto Wikia, freaky, seriously freaky. I am contemplating doing a fic where Orochimaru unleashes a genetic virus that spreads and turns 5 in every six boys into girls as long as they are A. not born yet or B. under 5 years old. The last in the 1 out of 6 either ends up a boy or of variable gender, some girls like 1 out of five end up able to manifest the other genders organ some on a permanent basis, needless to say the havoc caused by this virus would endanger many of the clans and the villages themselves. Well I hope I didn't offend anyone.

Halo Troopers: Crossover of Starship Troopers and Halo. Follows the exploits of Juan "Johnny" Rico and the newly formed Mobile Infantry made of those that are misfits, mainly people that are either unpopular with the brass, disgraced, or just not so keen on joining the UNSC.

Whirlpool Seed:Naruto and friends set in the Gundam Seed World.

Clouds of Strife: A final Fantasy Fusion set in the world of FF7 and FF12. Maybe on Hold until I figure out where to go.

Works In Progress:

From Container To Nobody: First in the "Wager" Series. Being rewritten, now Naruto is called Nobody and Sora the monk with a piece of Kyuubi has been purposely/ accident made into a Alucard like being. Sakura is now a snowbound nutcase, Sarutobi lacks an arm and a leg, Konoha is now the Fire Lords B and he is running it that way by suspending the office of Hokage for a decade or two, in response Konoha has become a military state weaker than when it was run by Sarutobi since it is technically not a member of the Five Great Ninja Villages especially since the Fire Lord is bungling around in the running of it along with the newly formed council. The biggest problem they have is that they have no idea they have a slightly insane weapon and a scarred no armed nameless revolutionary that may not be fully sane.

The Shoe Seller and His Vassal: A Dynasty Warriors and Naruto Crossover. Failed Genin Naruto Uzumaki thought life couldn't get any worse when Iruka-sensei caught him before he could get into the Old mans tower to get the forbidden scroll for the exam that Mizuki-sensei told him about, but to find out Mizuki-sensei was setting him up and he still wasn't able to become a genin was heartbreaking. But was it fair for those council guys to claim him untrustworthy due to gullibility and a danger if he was to becoma a genin fair! No it wasn't, worse was the fact the old man decided that for his own protection he was going to be sent to the mainland! Why Japan! He knew they came from their and with the sealing arrays that they couldn't see or interact with the elemental nations or the ships fitted with them but they didn't even have any technology! He wouldn't even be able to see the new Princess Fuun movie or any movies!! Worse yet the guys ditched him in some place called China!!

Follows Naruto's adventure as he works for a young man by the name of Liu Bei..
