July 25, 2008:

Behold! I have finally found my way back into my fictionpress account! I have posted the link to my fictionpress home page above. Most of it is whiny, angsty stuff from when I was much, MUCH younger, so browse at your own risk.

Also, I should probably mention that I found another job with the University, and am continuing my studies. I'm actually anxious for classes to start again in the fall.

November 18, 2007:

Okay, so it's been a while since I've updated this, so here goes.

After I moved back to the University of Miami, I did two semesters there, and eventually decided to pursue other career goals (the English major just wasn't working out for me). Due to my passion for cars and driving, a worked various jobs for about a year before joining a part-time Automotive Technology program in Hollywood, while working for one car dealership or another. Eventually, I couldn't afford to pay for school anymore, and had to find a job working technical phone support for Gateway computers. The hours sucked, but the pay was good. After more than a year at that job (and being promoted to a Quality Assurance position), I interviewed for a position at the University of Miami, creating and cataloguing digital images for the Art History and Architecture departments and making them available online for teaching purposes.

Which is where I am now. It's been over two years at this position, the longest I've held a job in my life, and I'm very happy with it. With the obvious exception that my project's funding expires in May 2008, and I'm not sure if there's going to be a job for me at the University after that.

This is kind of critical, since as I've been working at the University, part of my benefits package is that I get to take a certain number of classes for free, which I have been doing. I've actually taken up a Studio Art major in Photography, and am quite happy with it, although it will be years still before I finish my degree (if at all).

Erm, that's all for now, I'll post more another time if I feel like it. Thanks!

Summer 2001:

I was born in Queens, NY, and lived in Long Island for the first six years of my life.
Shortly before my sixth birthday, my mom and I moved to Key Biscayne, FL, which is an island
off the coast of downtown Miami/Coconut Grove. I lived out the rest of my public school career there, until upon
my graduation from high school, my mom moved to Hollywood, FL. I (foolishly) followed an ex-girlfriend to college in West Lafayette, Indiana, where I slowly realized that Indiana wasn't for me. Hence, I tranferred back to the University of Miami. Which is where I am now.

I run a rather eclectic list of hobbies. Writing, is of course, among them. I like to play guitar, hacky sack, and djembe. I enjoy driving, automotive repair, and any aspect of storytelling. I am a practicioner of the arts of juggling, unicycling, karate, historical stage combat, and archery. I'm sure there's more hobbies, but I just can't keep them all in my head at one time.

So, that's me, kind of. If you want to know anything more, feel free to Email me, and I'll be glad to set up correspondence with you.
