Hello everyone! I am Loddleposh, more commonly and previously known as happycabbage. I also go by Uber, Julia, Captain, and Tayber, amongst other, less savory names. I'll let you decide which of these suits me best. I'm curious to find out how many people actually recognize my new username. If you know it, drop me a PM and name what it's from. I've been a resident of this website for several years now, since I was 15. I am now 19, in my second year of college. I'm also in the middle of revamping my entire account. Here's a little about myself: I am pansexual (super-bi, as a friend of mine puts it), consider myself Pagan, and am a proud Californian, born and raised. I am a writer, but more commonly an artist, and a compulsive reader of fiction. This is most probably a given, considering this website, but I love stories. Doesn't matter how they're told. Books, fanfictions, video games, music, musicals, cartoons, pictures, music videos, comics, tv shows, manga, anime, movies, theater, what the fuck ever, I don't care how you choose to tell your story, just let me hear it!!

MY INTERESTS, FAVOURITES, AND FANDOMS: You can expect to see a varied and almost random set of fandoms in my repertoire, but I do tend to favor the fantasy/sci-fi/steampunk genres. In terms of stories and characters, my current Top Five Favorites are:

Fullmetal Alchemist - Edward, Alphonse, Izumi, Ling, Hughes, Roy, and all of Roy's unit

CATS - Mistoffelees, Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger, Skimbleshanks, Alonzo, and Bombalurina

Lord of the Rings - Legolas, Gimli, Faramir, Elladan, and Elrohir

Final Fantasy IX - Zidane, Blank, Baku, Marcus, Steiner, Freya, and Vivi

Harry Potter - Harry, Hermione, Remus, Sirius, Severus, and Draco

There may be some Invader Zim, Pirates of the Caribbean, Calvin and Hobbes, Angel, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and Danny Phantom, amongst others in my story and fav lists.

Compared to my preferred themes of fantasy, adventure, friendship, spiritualism, and hurt/comfort, romance is more of a supplementary and accenting theme rather than a focus. I love to explore the different ways that characters interact with one another, how their dealings with each other exposes more about their true selves and helps them to grow as people. Sometimes this involves romance, most of the time it doesn't need to.

Since many people are sensitive about these issues, I think it's only fair to warn you that I support and enjoy slash, so I will read and write it. That does NOT mean all of my work or favourite stories will include it. WHAT'S UP RIGHT NOW?

I'll be perfectly honest with you...I'm a fucking lazy-ass. It's not likely I'll be finishing any of my fanfictions anytime soon. This is for several reasons. First off, I'm not in high school anymore. I'm in college, working to establish myself as an independant human being, and trying to get my official chosen career of Starving Artist going. It's a slow, difficult and time-consuming process. I also want to be able to spend time with my friends and family, so in general my time for writing and drawing has been severely lessened. On that note, the time that I do have for writing and drawing is usually spent with my own original characters and stories. If other people's characters are my dearest, closest friends, and fiction in general my one true love, then my own original characters are my many many beloved children whom I ADORE beyond words. These are stories and characters that only I can share with the world. I love fanfiction, and I have many great ideas for stories meant for fanfiction, but my babies take precedence.

As for fanfiction in and of itself, most of the stories I have posted here are Harry Potter, which is by far no longer my favorite fandom anymore. I still enjoy it, but the rabid-fangirl passion has settled down, and my main focus as a fan has turned elsewhere. Many of my stories posted here were not well thought out and will take up far more effort and time to pull off than I actually have. Basically, it was me going, "Ooh, I want to read a story about this, but no one has done anything like that!" and so I would try to write my own and fail after posting the first few chapters. Even after I realized my mistake, I didn't have the heart to take them down and disappoint all the lovely people who so enjoyed them enough to review. So now I have at least five different fanfic beginnings that I have no time or current desire to work on, and at least five others that I have no idea what to do with.

HERE'S MY CURRENT PLAN OF ACTION, SO PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

My Harry Potter one-shots (Cry For Me, He Deserved It, Game Night, Somebody Loves Me, Hold Him, and Christmas Magic) have all been grouped together under one story to keep more organized. The originals have been deleted. The one-shot Cry For Me has been revised.

My other one-shots (The Odyssey: The Untold Adventure, Blue Christmas, Orpheus, and Was, Not Is) are being left alone.

The Gathering is being rewritten, as most of you should know, and is on hiatus for now until I can fix it up.

Hidden Darkness, Did it Hurt? and The Ramblings of a Madman will continue to be worked on, but please don't expect much soon.

My Harry Potter/ Lord of the Rings Crossovers (To Meddle in the Affairs of Wizards and Isn't Fiction Great?) are both on hiatus until I figure out where I am going with them and start writing.

ONLY THE FOLLOWING Harry Potter Fanfics ARE BEING PUT UP FOR ADOPTION: The One to Make Him Smile, The Most Beautiful Sound, and Because You Left My Life. I do not have the time energy or interest to continue working on these three. I know many of them have several loyal fans, and I would love to see them finished, but I cannot do it myself. If you are interested in taking over, please send me a PM with your offer. There are a few conditions before you will be permitted to adopt one of my stories:

1) I want to make sure they go to writers who are going to do them justice, so I will be looking at candidate's profiles and stories to find the most suitable takers. If you don't have any stories posted yet, please provide me with a sample piece of something you have written. It really doesn't matter what, it can be a bit of prose, a poem, or even an essay from school. I just want to be able to check the quality of your writing.

2) When you make your offer, please write a few sentences about what you think you would write next. I want to know what you will be doing with my work. This will factor into whether or not I give you the story.

3) I will ask that you please leave the chapters I have written alone, please don't change them (unless it's a grammar or spelling mistake I missed). Just pick up where I left off. Along with the story, I will give you whatever notes I have on the parts that I never got to write. You do not have to follow the notes, I just want to give you some ideas about where the story could go.

4) If you are chosen, I will let you know. Please do not pester me with PMs and emails asking if you've got the story. Once I have chosen the three people who may continue my stories, I will announce their names here in my profile, and post links here to their profile pages so that the readers can find where the story has disappeared to. I will ask that you inform me when you have saved all of the chapters I have posted for that story, so that I can delete it from my page.

AS FOR FUTURE STORIES AND OTHER STUFF:

Regarding 'Hidden Darkness': A while back, the renowned Lord of the Rings author Cheysuli decided to retire from her fanfiction career, and put up all her stories for adoption. I was lucky enough to lay claim to this little gem. I've blended some of the original eleven chapters together to make them longer, so the first six chapters posted are all Cheysuli's original work. After the first six chapters posted here, it's all my own work. I will do my very best to do her story justice.

Regarding 'Cry For Me': The orginal, more crappy version of this story was translated into Russian by the wonderful Thomas M.R. a few years ago. Thank you Thomas! My efforts to make long-ass chapters are what dragged it all out so long that I would get stuck/bored/distracted by other stuff, which is why they fizzled out and died. I intend to keep new chapters short, sweet, and to the point. I've already informed you what is going on with my old stories, so now I'm going to talk about some of my future projects and the stories that are distracting me from working on my already posted current works.

First, I have a nameless set of one-shots for Fullmetal Alchemist that are getting me back on my feet for writing. I'll start posting that when I have enough of them done to keep me going for a few months. I also have a multi-chapter Fullmetal Alchemist fic called Worms and Dirt that I will (someday) post, when it gets finished.

Then I have My Shadow, an as-of-yet unposted Harry Potter fic, currently 3 1/2 out of 10 chapters done, and it's fairly easy to write. I will post this when it is done.

"So-and-so from such-and-such fandom is now a student/teacher at Hogwarts" stories are so dull. I'm doing something totally new with my Harry Potter crossovers. First, I have two different Harry Potter/Fullmetal Alchemist crossovers. Both are very different from the average HP/FMA story and I am very excited about working on these. The titles are Rhyme and Reason and Unspeakable. I also have a Harry Potter/CATS crossover I am working on. It doesn't have a title yet, but so far there are three parts and, again, it's very different from the average Harry Potter Crossover.

And finally I have probably my most ambitious project of all: The Martyrs. It is a crossover between multiple stories, so far including Harry Potter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Final Fantasy IX, and Danny Phantom for certain, and I'm still deciding on a few more. My goal with this is to create a serious multi-crossover story that you do not need to be familiar with all the fandoms to enjoy. A tricky and challenging endeavor, but oh, it will be so worth it. Crossovers, especially ones with multiple fandoms, are so often just jokes and crackfic. This, The Martyrs, will be an epic.
