Wow, I’ve finally updated my profile! I didn’t like the layout of my previous one, plus it was over a year out of date… /swt Anyway, I’ve added a whole load of random stuff, so read on if you’re interested~! If not… well, feel free to skip down to the stories section.

About Me:

Hi there! My name is Jen though here I go by the name of fairy-girl. I also use the name starryheavens on other sites such as YouTube, Starry for short. (I’m also female, just in case my username doesn’t give it away…) Nice to meet you! I’m 19 years old and I absolutely love anime, manga and video games; and when I’m not playing/watching/reading them I love making anime music videos, drawing fan/original art, and writing fanfiction. Which is why I’m here. :P I hope to write and draw my own manga one day! I have a story idea all planned out… its just finding the time. I’m in college at the moment so I’m always busy with something or other.

If I had to describe my personality… I’d probably say that I’m weird, though hopefully in a good way. I tend to get excited easily when I’m talking about the things I really like, and then I end up rambling or ranting and using a whole lot of exclamation marks… I’m a lot quieter in real life though since I’m shy around people I don’t know very well. I have a good imagination so I daydream a lot. I’ve also developed the habit of saying random Japanese words or phrases every now and then, so now my family think I’m crazy. Ah well… it’s all good fun, ne?

I love almost anything fantasy or mythology related! My favourite fantasy creatures are dragons (pure awesomeness), closely followed by fairies. I’m also growing very fond of werewolves… I love ordinary animals too, my favourites being foxes, leopards (especially snow leopards), wolves, bats, rabbits, red squirrels… I could go on and on. Let’s just say I love most animals! I hate insects though… (shudders) Heh, I’m a complete coward really. I can’t stand horror movies or gore… and I have a fear of undead enemies in games. Like the redeads in Zelda games… T.T Why must they scream at me like they do?!

I also like reading and listening to music a lot (though I don’t get chance to read as much as I used to nowadays… I really must start making time for books again!). My favourite authors are Anne McCaffrey, Katherine Roberts, and Philip Pullman. I also really love Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini (He’d better bring out the third book soon!), and Harry Potter. As for music… I like all sorts. By favourites at the moment are Within Temptation, Nickelback, and Evanescence.

My favourite video games have to be Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Phantasia! They both have such amazing stories, and I’ve really grown to love the characters a lot. (ToS actually made me cry… that’s how attached I got to the characters.) Closely following is the Legend of Zelda series, which I grew up with. Though it usually takes me a long time (years in Majora’s Mask’s case) and lots of help from one of my best friends to complete them, I still love them a lot. Ocarina of time is still my favourite in the series, I think… next being Twilight Princess (which I completed all on my own! (is proud)). After those comes the Sonic games, which I think I will always love no matter how old I get. How can you not love games where the main characters are cute human-like animals? The Mario series is also great, especially Paper Mario! That is, without doubt, the funniest game I have ever played. XD Yay for Mario RPGs~!

I am a complete hopeless romantic! The first time I ever seriously supported a couple was with Sakura and Syaoran whist watching CCS, shortly followed by Sonic and Amy when I started watching Sonic X (I hadn’t had much experience with the Sonic games at this point, so it was the anime that really made me love them). And then I discovered Arche and Chester… XD They quickly winged their way to the top of my list; they’re just so cute and amusing together! It turns out I really like love/hate relationships. Plus I’m a firm believer in the ‘blue and pink’ rule. Granted, there will always be exceptions, but on the whole, blue guys and pink girls make excellent couples~ :3

My Stories

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’m an unbelievably slow writer who hardly ever updates. Its shames me to say it, but its true… and it doesn’t look like that’s going to change any time soon either. u.u’ However, I still do intend to complete both my ongoing stories one day! I’ve actually had the endings for them both planned out for ages, its just finding the time (and inspiration) to get there. So if you like my stories then please bear with me. I’m really sorry for the wait. If you haven’t read my stories before and are interested, then here’s a little more information about them~

In Progress

Because I’m Needed: My Tales of Symphonia fic. It includes Lloyd’s entire group (except Kratos) and a character of my own, but focuses mainly on my character, Zelos and a little on Sheena. I originally came up with the idea for this story when daydreaming what it would be like if I was a character in ToS. (Yes, I like to imagine myself in games… I’m sad like that. ’) The daydream came shortly after I completed the game, having finally made Zelos the character who liked Lloyd best (which was not easy)… I guess I was still feeling guilty for hating Zelos so much during my first play-through, and I thought he should have someone to open up to other than Lloyd in case Lloyd ended up liking someone else best (which nearly always happens) I really like Zelos, but since he's the hardest character to get close to on the game, not everyone gets to find out about his past. Warning - this story will contain a lot of Zelos spoilers.There will also most likely be some Sheelos romance later on in the story.

Only Time Will Tell: This is going to take me a while to update unfortunately. I don't have much free time at the moment, but trust me, it will get updated eventually. When I start something I always finish it. It'll just take a while. Anyway, for those wondering, this is my story dedicated to that very cute couple, Tails and Cream. I know some people don't like this pairing because they prefer Tails/Cosmo, so I'll say this now: I don't hate Tails/Cosmo. I actually think that they're really sweet together, it’s just terrible that she dies at the end of Sonic X. This story is all about Tails' grief over loosing the one he loved the most and his struggle to move on. Cream just helps him along the way~

Fairy Lights: (One Shot) One of my earlier works, I admit that this isn’t my best. To be honest, Sonic is rather out of character in it… But at the time I thought it was good. Basically it’s sweet, Christmassy Sonamy fluff. If you’re a fan of the couple then please enjoy!

Perfect Innocence: (One Shot) Hehe, I like this one. It actually turned out to be a lot more fun to write then I originally thought; and I was very careful to keep both Tails and Cream in character as much as possible, which I think helped… Anyway, it’s simple Taiream cuteness with an experimental twist~ Nothing naughty, just two kids wondering what a certain aspect of growing up is like.

Tally’s been around since long before I started writing fanfiction, and it’s her unfortunate duty to keep my mind from wandering too far from the harsh realities of life. (Easier said than done, I daydream a lot...) This usually involves her having to remind me of stuff, attempting to drag me out of bed in the morning on college days, and just generally telling me off when I’m acting stupid. I feel sorry for her having to put up with me… I don’t make life easy for either of us. But even though she complains sometimes, she assures me that deep down she doesn’t mind and usually does her best to help me regardless. (Plus she enjoys teasing me…) Being my main muse, she helps me with my all ideas in general, but she can be quite good at inspiring cute stuff too. (She doesn’t like to admit it though. :P) She’s also the reason for my username here!

Despite claiming that she’s perfectly happy as a fairy, Tal is actually surprisingly insecure about her small size… Her weakness is dark magic, and if she’s exposed to it for too long she starts to feel ill (much to her annoyance). She also shares my hatred for undead enemies, though it’s normally only the screaming ones that scare her. :P She doesn’t need to eat much, but when she does she will only eat sweet things, which she loves. Her favourite food is mint flavoured ice cream.

... XD’ And now she’s mad at me for writing random stuff about her in my profile. I guess I’d better stop now…

Looks: Very long, straight, jet black hair which stops just below her knees, ties back with two ribbons at waist length (one dark red, one dark gold); yellow eyes; pale skin
Personality: Blunt, uncaring, tormenting, deceptive, intelligent, observant; tends to ignore people who she doesn’t find interesting, enjoys playing mind games.
Attire: Floor length, gothic/ medieval style black dresses. Yes, even in school.

Element: Dark
Ability: Can sense the strength/ attributes of anyone’s soul
Status: Aria’s best friend; my muse

Phoenix is hard work. Sometimes I wonder why I made her a muse… She only appears when she feels like it, and even then she won’t always help me! And when she does I can never guarantee that what she’s telling me is actually what I need to know… /swt (She enjoys playing mind games with people way too much.) But on the rare occasion she’s in a generous mood, the ideas she gives me are good ones. She is the muse of evil and angsty things…

Having spent the majority of her life not caring about anyone, it takes something major for Phoenix to actually grow attached to a person. Though when she does, heaven help you if you try to hurt that person… At the moment, there are only two people who have managed to get this close to her, both of which are complete opposites to herself. XD’ As for everyone else… if they aren’t unusual enough to capture her interest (or at least to make her want to torment them in some way), then she’ll most likely ignore them completely. She refuses to call people by their given names (an honour she saves only for those she truly cares about), instead referring to them by some sort of character trait that she has observed. I only managed to get her to call me by my name by threatening to reveal her secret… (I don’t think she’s forgiven me for that yet) …I think I was originally the “procrastinating girl”.

Though she has no problem with showing her indifference to people, Phoenix can be a flawless actress when necessary. Seriously, she can take on almost any role… its worrying. She also really hates bright sunlight, so much that she will snap if she’s exposed to it for too long. And that’s just plain scary… (No, she’s not a vampire.)

…Why is she my muse again? Oh right, evil stuff…

Weapon: Silver rune charms that allow her to cast Aselian magic spells. (Present from Odin)

Status: Will’s adoptive sister/ best friend; Phoenix’s best friend

One of the two people Phoenix cares enough about to call by name; Aria is cheerful to the point of being a little crazy. She adores fantasy books and often ends up spacing out while she’s at home. She’s also fiercely protective of her friends and will fight hard against anyone who threatens them, despite knowing that she herself is not very strong. While she doesn’t like her enemies, she rarely hates them unless they give her just cause and may even attempt to appeal to their better nature… and if they reveal a good side, she will most likely try to befriend them.

...Which is exactly what she did with Odin (Aya-chan's OC), a god who she fought with when they first met. She lost that battle... and then she later gave him cookies. XD' (I love her weird logic~) They've become really close since then and she now considers him one of her best friends.

A typical teenage boy; Will gets embarrassed easily which leads to him being overly defensive. Which then leads to him to being rude. /swt Due to events which happened in his past, he is very untrusting and sceptical when it comes to meeting new people, especially those he deems as “weird”. His greatest wish is to have a normal life, surrounded by normal people…

Yeah. Like that’s going to happen. :P

He’s afraid of demons and witches (which he believes to be a type of demon), so he usually comes across as a right scaredy-cat when confronted by them... but he's getting better! I think becoming friends with Chester from Teishi ni Hikkakamasu has helped him a lot... He's slowly learning to not to take everything so seriously (like Chester's teasing) and he even helps out in some battles now! :D

Looks: Long, straight, white hair down to middle of her back; lilac eyes; very pale skin
Personality: (While possessed) Cold, unresponsive, ruthless when threatened. (Normal self) Withdrawn, shy, lonely, doesn’t know how to interact with people.

Status: Lost; possessed by demon

This poor girl was found abandoned and practically frozen to death on a snowy mountain by Will, and has since developed a bond of trust with him, making him her carer. Why does she need caring for, you ask? Well she’s been possessed. By an ice demon. …Will didn’t know this when he took responsibility for her. XD’

Since the demon has suppressed her memories, Rin cannot remember where she came from or how she came to be possessed, making her feel lost and confused. She’s also very weak due to the demon slowly consuming her life force, and constantly afraid that the demon will suddenly take control… In other words, she always makes me want to hug her, poor thing.

Gender: Female
Looks: Dark blonde, wavy, waist length hair (usually tied back in middle ponytail); blue eyes; looks young for her age
Personality: Practical, straight forward, head strong, protective; tends to whack/pull the ears of those who annoy her

Weapon: None (Though will occasionally use rolled-up newspapers/magazines to hit people with)

Status: Aria’s mother; Will’s adoptive mother

Kathryn’s a fun character… XD’ She’s a single mum with attitude! Since she’s a teacher, she knows nearly every trick in the book (having tried most of them herself in her youth), so she won’t take any nonsense from anyone. But she does have a soft side, which mostly shows when she’s worrying about her kids or when she comes across an example of young love (as long as that love doesn’t involve Aria :P). Because she had Aria young, she’s still a teenager at heart and enjoys teasing the people she likes… though she’s very responsible when she needs to be.

She’s extremely protective of Aria… sometimes too protective. /swt But that’s mostly because Aria is all she has left of her husband, who died when Aria was small. She’s also very adaptable to weird situations (such as having a demon-possessed ice girl living in her house and werewolves crashing through her windows); once she’s got over initial shock she just gets on with life. Oh, and if you’re a perv, you’d best stay away from her. Kathryn has no problem kicking nasty perverted males in their sensitive area… or any other nasty male for that matter. She also has her ear-pull which she frequently uses on anyone who annoys her. :P

Attire: Deep blue-green tunic with off-the-shoulder white dress underneath; archer glove on right hand; wrist guard on left arm; hip quiver; knee length socks and leather boots; small red crystal attached to the base of her throat.
Status: Dragon spirit guardian.

A sweetheart with a tendency to pity herself to the point where she comes across pathetic, Tai is the second OC I ever created. But since she’s been travelling alone for years with nothing but a rather cynical dragon spirit for company, I can’t really blame her... She’s the sort of person who gets scared quite easily, but tries not to let it interfere with what she has to do and does her best regardless, even though she often doesn't feel that her best is enough. Due to certain events in her past, she's rather sensitive about some things despite her best efforts to hide it, but she is determined to carry out her mission no matter what. Having had no real friends since she started her search, she is very loyal to those who can overcome her eye colour and show her friendship.

I have yet to draw Tai in her normal attire, but I have drawn her in what I imagine her outfit would be if she went to Zelos’ dinner party (side quest). If you’d like to see, you can find it here.
