So I haven't updated in a VERY long while.
Sorry, guys, but there's been too much going on; my free time is spent
vegging out. SotA I'm hoping to get going again, but I can't promise
anything right now. It won't be any longer than ten or eleven chapters,
though, methinks. As for Melissa, the story's a little rough right now,
but I will definitely be updating in the very near future.

looks at their very first "morning after" scene, with some flash back
about how they got together ((rated M for SEX SCENES :does a lemon dance:

Metaphorical:
Another Hades/Persephone story--this one was more of a writing
excersize because I had a ton of metaphors buzzing around in my brain
and I needed to do something with them. Not nearly as deep as the other
one, and a much lower rating ((rated: K+ for, ummm, kissing...could
even be lower))

an escape. Jerrin is something of a typical prince: spoilt, but
yearning for adventure. What will happen when he manages to wake her
up? ((rated mildly for VERY mild themes. might get higher, but prolly
not by much))
Seal Maiden: completed really a fanfic based on the celtic myths
about selkies (inspired by Eilieen Eiver's song "Dear Irish Boy" and
the movie "Secret of Roan Inish," neither of which I own.) Selkies are
mythical creatures that swim the seas as seals, but who can peel off
their skins to become human. As the legends go, if a man were to steal
the skin of a selkie maiden, she would be forced to stay with him, but
as soon as she got her skin back, she would slip back into the sea and
never return. ((rated for mild themes like kissing...))
Sugar on the Asphalt:
another MWPP-era lily/james fic. VERY AU. title comes from the lyrics
of the Jimmy Eats World song, "Bleed American," which i don't own.
James is a badass with a major attitude. Lily is a reclusive good girl
with a heart, but completely anti-boy. And the new head boy and girl at
hogwart's ARE...envelope please! ((rated for language and SEXUAL
INTERCOURSE in later chappies...))
Wet: yet ANOTHER lily/james MWPP-era
oneshot. 7th year, Lils and Jamsie are heads together and //LE GASP//
already going out...just a silly little ficlet with mischief and smut
and fluff...oh my! rated for the usual...
LoveBites: hmmm, oh yes, just another...cough MWPP-era oneshot...NOT about lily and james, though,
it's Sirius/OC. revamped and reposted version of the old one,
but it could use some suggestions! /nudge..nudge/ i over-ordered my
fluff this week, so the excess was put into writing this and making
cotton candy, which, ironically, i hate...o
well...rated M for language only (although studies suggest
that OD-ing on fluff may be harmful to your health...)

13 Themes: Perseph/Hades from Greek Mythology. It focuses mainly on the
complexities of the myths themselves, trying to tell the myth from a
new perspective. I, personally, was surprised at how much has been lost
from the original tellings through the years. The rating will remain
that way for later chapters. The title means honey, and can be roughly translated into English letters to spell Melissa.
