Author has written 46 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Final Fantasy XII, X-Files, Smallville, Bones, NCIS, Castle, Green Rider, Fringe, and Doctor Who. Much of my writing is drawn from life experiences, some from those of my friends, but mostly from my own. I enjoy adding this personal depth to my writing - not because I am vain or indiscreet, but because I feel (and hope) that the practice brings truth and depth to what I write. I type all of my stories now, but when it comes to brainstorming and outlining and sketching ideas, I still prefer to put pen to paper and do it the old fashioned way. I love computers and am a respectable typist, but I find that the act of writing is both relaxing and therapeutic. My muse likes to take long vacations, to places that I am obviously not invited to; when I do have a good idea, however, one that I feel is worth writing, I can be considered a little obsessed. For the few stories that are posted here, there are countless others hidden in old notebooks and files on my computer which will never see the light of day. Writing is the one thing in my life that I have never truly given up, and keep finding myself returning to; it is as natural to me as breathing. Although I am not by nature a stern or serious person, there is a gravity to most of my stories - I do not feel that my fluff writing capabilities are up to par, but I am trying to work on that. I am always trying to improve, and give careful consideration to any and all reviews I receive on my work. I put a lot of time and heart into my stories, and I hope that shows through when they are read. To Rach, my lil' cherub, I am so glad that we can still share this writing obsession despite the time and distance separating us.
