Author has written 2 stories for Legend of Zelda. Hello All, I decided to add a profile since it seems people like my fic. Name: Call me Coasty (30 was just my parking spot number) Age: 32 born on the Ides of March (Man I'm getting old forever young at heart though) Ambition: To do my 20 years in the World's Premier Maritime Service and then publish my book (Which I'm working on). Location: Cheboygan, MI (not much here) lower penisula, guess that makes me a loper or troll. Job: I gave up the classroom now I sail the great lakes, my job is extremly difficult and time consuming but being on the water again fuels the imagination. I'm still writing my book. Writing is tough when you have to think up everything characters, setting all of it (but it is so fun!). Married: Yes to a wonderful woman. Also my proof reader (Her support is what keeps my fingers flying over the keyboard). She still looks over it all. Kids: No not yet. Hobbies: I love soundtracks to movies, TV, and theater. Also writing this fic has became quite a favorate past time. Inspiration: Well the inspiration to do Blood of the Holders came from a rather strange source. Year 2002 and I had never done a Fan fic before (though I was always a writer at heart) and I really had no intention of doing one. It was summer and I had just reported to my boat to begin what would be a long three year tour and a week or two before I was to leave on my first deploymentI took my roomate (who is now my wife) to a theme park to work off the stress of the move. During the long 5 hour drive we had managed to talk about and develope the baseline for a fan fiction but it was not my LOZ fic... It was a Sailor Moon (my wife was my subject expert)fan fic and I had so much fun and was so excited about how I was able to just picture scenes and conversations. Sadly that fic remains to this day unpublished though 99 percent finished. Blood of the Holders got started when during a particularly dreadful night at sea when nothing went right and the seas were so rough I had tossed my cookies into the bridge trash can more than once that night while I was trying to fix a broken radar. To calm myself I thought about my favorate game The Legend Of Zelda and I pictured the triforce in my sea sick mind I guess that's when I wondered about the fourth triangle that is formed when all three are together. Here is another little something, some of the scenes in my story are adaptations of things that have actually happened to me. In 2009 I had to relocate and set sail for fresh water adventure on the great lakes. If you live on them, I'm on the big red one that comes around every winter. The new job comes with a mountain of new responsibilites that I have yet learn all of. it's a brand new ship too lots of computers and automation so I've got a ton to learn. Let me apologize for the loooong hiatus. I have been working on blood of the holders but I must admit it got away from me. Choices had to be made rewrites done and this was while I was working at my job, as well as my book. In May I had to pack up my life and move to Michigan to take up my new position on my Big Red Boat. I'm not satisfied with what i have hence I did not publish it, that and work, life, move, and other things got in the way. I am so sorry to all of thoes who were looking forward to reading further chapters, I have not given up on Blood of the Holders I will finish it. | |||||||
