I had several unfinished stories posted here at one point but I retired from writing fanfiction many moons ago. Since I last wrote, I graduated from college, began and completed graduate school, got married, and moved from the mountains to the Piedmont of North Carolina. I enjoy reading well written post-Half-Blood Prince Snape-centered works. And, um, I am sort of coming out of retirement. Maybe. I don't know yet. At any rate, I am fifty single-spaced pages in to my unofficial continuation of the, um, official continuation of Labyrinth: aptly named Jim Henson's Return to Labyrinth, a Manga in four volumes (volumes one and two are currently available in a comic shop near you or on Amazon). If you had not read them, you should, if for no other reason than they are canonical.

A few potentially interesting non sequiturs about me: I am a twenty-eight-year-old Aries, vegan, feminist, and liberal. I have been married for two years. I am from a military family and was born in Iowa and grew up mostly in Germany, but I am now a full-fledged North Carolinian. I speak with a southern accent and everything, y'all. I work forty or more hours a week in academic book publishing, I host two nights a week at a trendy American-fusion restaurant, and toil two days a week at a sports store. I exercise every day. I love the paranormal, folklore, and science fiction. I also have a/n (un)healthy obsession with David Bowie. I am an über dork.
