I think you'll be happy to know that I now have a beta (you can check out her stuff at spncsifreak on fanfiction.net). I'm not making any promises about when the first chapter will be posted, but there will be a new Torchwood fic (with the tentative title "Love Pretzels in Time") starting to be posted before the end of the month. This fanfic is not, however, the one who's outline I posted here earlier.

This is totally random, but absolutely had to be shared. I was just googling random things and I found one of those love match generators (www.lovecalculator.com). Being the slightly fangirly person I am, I started inputing character names, this is what I got.

Gwen Cooper & Jack Harkness: 14

Dr. Love thinks a relationship might work out between Gwen Cooper and Jack Harkness, but the chance is very small. A successful relationship is possible, but you both have to work on it. Do not sit back and think that it will all work out fine, because it might not be working out the way you wanted it to. Spend as much time with each other as possible. To all 'Gwack' shippers I say 'Ah ha!' This just proves that they're totally wrong for each other. And really, don't those blurbs perfectly sum things up?

Hey, still here, sort of. I haven't been writing in a while, but my Muse has returned from its rather untimely vacation. That being said, chances of a Harry Potter fic right now are next to nonexistant. On the other hand, I'm currently looking for a Beta for a slightly unorthodox Torchwood fic. I think it's about time I found one, and I think it would be a good idea to have someone who could poke me every so often and make sure I post something. Anyone who has at least a basic understanding of Torchwood (essentially just Season 1 since CBC didn't get the rights to season 2) and would like to beta for me is strongly encouraged to contact me. I'd really appreciate it. To give you a better idea of what you'd be getting yourself into, here's a brief, general summary for the story, as I see it happening at the moment. (In otherwords, this storyline is subject to change at completely random moments. You are forewarned.)

Pairings: Jack/Ianto; Ianto/OC; Lisa/Ianto/OC; Gwen/Rhys

Plot Summary:

Considering he kept a half-converted Cyberwoman in the basement, is it that hard to believe that Ianto Jones might still be keeping secrets from the others? As the world is once again threatened a piece of Ianto's past comes back into play, raising questions about his true duties at Torchwood 1 and about the future of his relationship with Jack. Jack's pretty sure he's back in Ianto's good graces roughly five months after his, to his team, three month trip off with the Doctor. However, when he caves to Gwen's demands to let Rhys into the safety of the Hub during the next alien crisis he's not entirely sure what to do with the teenage girl who shows up with him, and certainly not once it appears that Ianto knows her. As to where he knows her from, he's not telling. The stranger things become, the more the rest of the team wants answers, but is this set of secrets going to be one that Jack actually likes, or are things between him and Ianto finally done for good?

And, I'm back! My muse, as far as Harry Potter fics are concerned, has returned. This is most likely going to lead to a flood of fics surrounding Blasie Zabini, Albus Severus Potter, and Scorpius Malfoy. As there is no chance of going OoC with the last two, consider yourself forwarned. They are now my new fav pairing.

Hopefully what I end up posting will help make up for the rather lengthy drought of fics.

Well, yes. I still exist, but with school starting the chances I'll be writing anything any time soon are pretty slim. As for my Dr. Who fanfic... Ziaira has told me point blank that she's going back to her own world and that the Doctor can fend for himself. So no, I doubt it will ever have anything else added to it.

I'm not dead! yet.

Well, so much for updates within two weeks, or a new fanfic. I finally just said what the hell and just posted what I did have in the way of a chapter written for my Dr. Who fic. It's still more or less on hiatus for the moment, but I just couldn't see the point in not posting what I had even if there wasn't as much to it as I would have liked.

On another note, if there's anyone out there who would be interested in being my beta I'd love to hear from you. I think it's something I could really use as you all know that rereading your own stuff there's always usually at least one thing you miss.

Thanks for putting up with me and my scatterbrained muse.

If I get things wrong (place name, hidden identity, ect...) please tell me and I'll correct it ASAP, and I apoligize now because I'm bound to get something wrong.

Gay marriage:
1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.
