Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter.

Hello!

I'm a hyper 15 year old from California(USA).

I enjoy...

reading

playing sports

watching movies

Reviews...

I sort of have this unspoken policy that I always review anyone who reviews me. I know how much I love reviews and how good they make me feel so I try to review as much as possible. I usually don't review every chapter but wait until I finish reading all that the author has written before reviewing. There are exceptions. I feel like the best way to get reviews is to give them.

My writing...

I really do like reading more than writing. Once in a very, very long while I'll get an idea and feel like writing. I've written one short LJ oneshot and I probably won't write anything more. If at all it will be a oneshot because then I don't have to worry about updating. Anyhow, once I start a story at some point I kind of lose my enthusiasm or the drive to keep writing and will just cut off a story. I hate it when people do that to me so I don't want to do that to anyone else.

For whoever cares...I'm working on a new Lily/James fic. It's kind of a spin on a rather funny encounter between Harry and someone whose name I won't reveal. The idea for this was sort of sparked after a wonderful reviewer on unknowableroom.org reviewed Dilemma and told me I might want to try taking a canon event and then sort of make it my own. Almost done...but it's the ending I'm having trouble with. I just can't figure out how to end it and i don't want to post it without an ending I'm not happy with. It sort of ruins the effect of the whole story if it's got a choppy, unsatisfying ending. Hmm...I'll post it once I get the inspiration to finish it.

My story...

Dilemma: I've had the idea for quite a few months but never really got around to writing it. It's a short Lily/James oneshot. My first story, and if you've ever written a story you know how good it is to get a review, and how nervous you were when you posted your first story. Makes you feel sort of appreciated. So please do review, I'mextremely insecure about Dilemma and a review really makes my day and lifts my mood.

Ships I support...

Lily and James- they're my favorite couple. partly because i'm a sucker for romance but mostly because you can do anything you want with them. since you don' t know too much about them it gives you a lot more room to create personalities and plots. it's what I mostly read.

Harry and Ginny- i think they make a good couple. there are a lot of really good stories about them. but i rarely ever read them.

Ron and Hermione-they were so meant to be. the way they bicker when they so obviously love each other makes me laugh.

Remus and Tonks-i had never read one of these till i saw it on a favorite list of an author i like very much. i have only read three but they were all excellent. maybe i'll read more.but i doubt it. once you read the best of a new couple the rest don't seem as good.

Katie and Oliver -hmm...I've read a couple from a couple different authors. they're a cute couple.

I'm pretty much open to any pairing as long as the stories involving them aren't too...weird. I don't like gay couples either. I have nothing against gay or bi people but in harry potter I think they seem out of place. Mostly how much I like a ship depends on how good the stories involving them are.

Views on slash...

While I would never write any myself (it's rather outside my comfort zone to be writing it and I don't really know how to write it anyway) it doesn't matter to me whether anyone else does. Some ok stories have slash in them. It doesn't bother me 'cause I just don't read them. Read maybe three in my whole time reading fanfic (only a year of two, but whatever ).

Pet Peeves...

people who wear flip flops with socks: if you must wear socks with anything open toed, at least wear slippers

Being a Beta...

Currently, I'm a beta for Somewhere, Inbetween, It Was Thereand for Ink. The author of Ink and I had a rough patch, but it's all fixed ( I think). Somewhere, Inbetween, It Was There is the first story I've betaed. And guess what? I love being a beta! It's tons of fun. If anyone needs/wants a beta I would love to do it. Having a beta can be really useful. They can fix typos/grammar mistakes and will tell you if something can be elaborated or improved or made less confusing. Also, if anyone has a oneshot I'd be glad to beta that, too. It normally won't take me more than two days to get back to you. If it's taken longer than that, something is probably forcibly restraining me for getting onto my account.

Don't forget to...

review

check out my favorites list, they're pretty good.

check out my C2. (it's new and i haven't added many yet, but there'll be some more in there soon enough)
