BASIC INFORMATION
The FINAL chapter of "Chances" is posted on my Livejournal account. Please click on the link below to go there! Thank you!
I'm more of an OC writer, so expect most of my stories, possibly all, to have my own character as one of the main. I'd like to reason out that the characters of the stories that I do fanfiction have already been established and I do not want to butcher them up (THOUGH I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T DO OC CHARACTERS DO). I'm just saying that I am not so good with playing the field with the established characters so much, I just don't want to get into it. I'd rather play with my character and butcher it up and not the established characters. Thank you.
NAME: Reina Anette Caine

COUNTRY: California
BIRTHDAY: July 23, 1989
GENDER: Female
FAVORITES
BOOKS: The Holy Bible, Harry Potter Series, Tuesdays With Morrie
MOVIES: Spider-Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Superman Returns

ABOUT ME
My name's Reina. If you haven't noticed, my nickname Raine stands for the initials of my first names and 'ine' from my family name. My dad was originally from Atlanta, but his family moved to New York when he was still 10. My mom was a native from Miami, she too moved to New York when she was still a girl.
I am the third from a family of five. The eldest is my sister, Nikki, the second is my twin brother Richard, then me, the fourth is my sister, Leandra, the last is my baby brother Eric. As you can see, I am in the middle, so, my job is to keep my siblings from destroying each others lives. No, we don't usually have World Wars in our house. I just have to make sure that none of them crosses the line.
I'm usually a cheerful person. I love to play basketball and I love to bowl. I know, they're boys' stuff. But hey, I have a twin brother remember? I am such a shopaholic too. I can be so engrossed with my shopping that I wouldn't even eat the whole day. But not so much girly stuff for me. I usually shop for comfortable tees and shorts. Yeah, I know, too boyish. But hey, they're what I like.
I'm really a friendly person. So if any of you guys want to have some friendly advice on anything, don't hesitate to ask me. I'm willing to help anytime. I'm mostly busy. I'm in college right now and everything is just keeping me at my toes. But I try, as much as I can, to be able to write and write. I love writing. It keeps me calm, plus, I get to be in my comfort zone. No academics there. I'm just a struggling writer who writes for fun. I actually took up a Creative Writing class before and I want to see if the 10 a week my parents paid are going somewhere.
One of the things that I love doing, apart from writing, is reading the works of others. That's why I usually do beta-work for my friends and for some people who ask me nicely. They say I'm too honest to be hated when I do beta work. It's been like a side-line for me (although I'm never paid). It used to be just a once a week thing, but it soon caught on me and it turned into a hobby. I get three works every two weeks and I try to focus on each and every one of them well. I wouldn't want to disappoint the writer. I love beta-reading and I'd be willing to do one for anyone who asks me nicely.
I've been a member of this site for about three years now. But I haven't been updating a lot since I've been pretty busy with school. But I do try to update as soon as I can. I usually do a lot of thinking when it comes to my stories. It's just weird that whatever comes to my mind when I think is not exactly why I end up typing in my chapters. So sometimes, I just let myself stare at the computer and let the ideas flow as I type them.
I have discovered my great love for Disney just about year ago. Now, I love the Jonas Brothers, most especially Joe Jonas. I'm planning on writing a Hannah Montana fic someday soon. It's going to be a about Nick and Miley. Yes, I'll admit it. I am a fan of theirs. It's just sad that they're not going out. But hey, they're still young. There's still plenty of time for that.
Truth be told, I am not a huge fan of Hannah Montana. I enjoy watching it, just like how I enjoy watching High School Musical. I can't say that I'm a fan though. But I get by okay with it. Miley Cyrus is a good singer. She's very talented. Anyway, I also enjoy reading Miley and Joe fics. I know, it is a bit different. But hey, if it's good, then I like it. It's a bit of a rest from all the Niley fanfics I have read and will read, eventually.
I actually can't wait for Camp Rock and J.O.N.A.S. Now that we're here in California, I can actually catch it at its exact release date! Can't wait!
STORIES
Nothing in Return: It is a Harry Potter story set after the Final Battle. I made it to Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts. Fred and George have returned as seventh years. Regarding Oliver, I have always liked his character that's why I just had to put him here in this story. I want to make this story a mix of drama and romance. I started this story before the sixth and the final book came out so it has no connections whatsoever to the sixth and seventh book events.STATUS: Finished
Harry: He is more mature now and a little silly too. He gets these feelings that he doesn't understand and he tries to confront it.
Hermione: She gets to be a little carefree now. She loosens up a bit on the boys. You won't see her reading much in this story.
Ron: He really doesn't make much of an appearance here, but he will play a big role as the chapters begin to pile up. He's with Lavander now, but, he doesn't tag along with her all the time.
Ginny: She's a little passive at the beginning because I don't put much concern to her at first. She gets more and more lines as the story progresses.
Draco: He plays a very important part here regarding the new character.
Oliver: He's active now and the new Hogwarts professor.
Cedric: Just like Oliver, he is active too. He gets very involved in the story.
Cho: Confrontation with Harry is what's at the back of her head. She's also going to play a significant role in the story.
Harriotte: She's the new character and if anyone has noticed, she plays a big role in the story. I don't want to mean that she is the main character, only I want to put a little emphasis on her because she will play a big role in this story.
Favorite Quotes in the Story:
"Infatuation and real love are completely different aspects. They are poles apart and the only thing that is connecting them together is a fine line in-between.Love is a powerful thing. In situations such as this, you do not just consult your mind, you consult your heart. And when you do, you listen to it. Listen to what your heart is telling you because your heart is you all the way. Your heart knows you more than you know yourself. Sometimes, the heart can be very confusing, but when you try to really listen to it, you will understand."-Harriotte Henson
"There is a fine line between love and being in love, Harry. You can say that you love someone, but you cannot just say that you are in love with them that casually."-Harriotte Henson
"You and I are two individuals living our lives the way we had planned it, the way we wanted it."-Harriotte Henson
"How come something picture perfect is all of a sudden a big lie- just a big charade?"-Ginny Weasley
"For once, admit that you really want something more than what you have, before it’s too late. This is real life. Sometimes, magic just doesn’t do the job. And happy endings don’t come as often as you think they do, not unless you make it happen yourself."-Hermione Granger
"There are so many things in this world that we do not, or we can not understand. And yet, we persist on trying to unravel every mystery because we wish to know, to learn, and to discover. Life is unreasonable."-Clarisse Henson
"I may be called ‘The Boy Who Lived’, but I am still just a boy. A boy who has nothing more to offer but his love, life, and faithfulness to the girl he loves deeply in his heart and his very being. I’m willing to give that very girl my whole life and am asking for nothing in return for any of it. Hermione, I’ve done it. I’ve done what you had told me to do. I’ve set my priorities straight. And now, I’m making this fairy tail conclude with my happy ending."-Harry Potter
"Sometimes, the right thing in your eyes is the wrong one in the eyes of everyone else."-Clarisse Henson
Competition: There's a new girl at East High and she's definitely one to look out for. The original Wildcats come back for their final year and things are starting to look more interesting than before. New musicals and a new classmate? What else would they get? This story takes up after High School Musical 2.TG,CT,ZS,JK STATUS: Finished
Troy: He's more comfortable with his singing now and gets involved in the Drama Club's events. In this story, his maturity to handling situations are greatly expressed.
Gabriella: She's still the ever sweet Gabriella we all met at both the HSM films, but is more confident about herself and her beliefs. She sets a good example of being a real friend in this story but she develops a somewhat "girlfriend complex" that involves jealousy and envy.
Ryan: He's very, very active in this story. After winning the Star Dazzle award, he turned away from his old ways of being Sharpay's "poodle" and finds his own place as his own person. His kindness and caring nature helps him realize his heart's desire.
Sharpay: She's back and is, as always, trying to conquer the entertainment scene. But with the arrival of a new girl, after the Gabriella incident, she realizes that not everyone's a competition.
Chad: He's not much of a help to Troy in this story considering I didn't do much justice in his character. He's still with Taylor and is a bit attached with her too much that he kind of agrees with her most of the time.
Taylor: She's her same old judgmental self, the one we met at High School Musical.
Michelle: She's the new girl and everyone finds her as the "new Gabriella". She can sing, she can probably dance, she can act, she's smart, and she's rich. But her past seems to be the only thing that keeps her from being the new East High star - which is something she seriously doesn't want to be.

Competition 2: Ending the Old Story: A sequel. Must read 1st story first. Now graduates, the gang gets into gear as they prepare for the next big thing: Troy and Gabriella's wedding. With the way the days are passing by so quickly, can everyone keep up when the wedding planner goes haywire? STATUS: IN-PROGRESS, ON-HOLD
>BASIC SUMMARY: After the events of "Competition", everyone comes back to their homes after graduating in University of Albuquerque. Now, it's time to face the music and prepare for the inevitable even that is Gabriella and Troy's most awaited wedding. With everyone getting busy with the preparations, how will it affect Gabriella and Troy's relationship when an old "rival" comes back and frozen feelings arise? Making it even worse is when the wedding planner goes haywire.
Chances: It's a story about the Jonas Brothers going on tour with a contest winner living with them right inside their bus. She's not exactly what they expected her to be, and so begins a really bumpy tour. STATUS: FINISHED
Kevin: The maturity in him is very evident throughout the whole tour. He gets to express himself in a whole new way.
Joe: His wackiness seems to be just there, but is not working for their little guest. His level of maturity, however, increases throughout the ordeals they have to endure while living a life on the road.
Nick: The ever sensitive youngest Jonas Brother finds himself becoming a protective older brother to their new bus-mate.
Rachel: The lucky girl who won the fateful contest. She discovers that living with the JoBros is more than a challenge itself when gossip columns start to take a blow on her life.
